I went to this place for lunch today. The atmosphere isn't bad: spacious, close to the sea.
The annoying thing was that the owner was at the table next to us, and his phone kept ringing, but he didn't answer; so we had to wait the whole time with the ringer in our ears.
The clam spaghetti was good, but some of the shells were broken, and most importantly, every clam was in its shell; not a single one had been removed. The fried food was good, tasty, but very oily.
Let's say it's worth a try for once.
The staff was very helpful, albeit tired.

As usual, La Bussola restaurant on the Vespucci seafront in Ostia delivers. Excellent food, generous portions, and a great value.

A nice discovery. Despite a considerable crowd, we were served in a timely manner. The mixed antipasto was very good. Worth it. The spaghetti with clams was disappointing. The grilled food was average.
All this, however, was topped off by a splendid sunny day overlooking the beach and sea.
Overall, everything was acceptable, especially considering the good value for money.

Good evening, this evening I went with two of my friends to this restaurant where they insisted we try it. I have to say they were right; everything was top-notch. The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, but the kindness and helpfulness of the wait staff was also noteworthy. Top-notch, top-notch, we'll be back. Thanks, Nunzia.
