25/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, intrigued by the banner on the street, "Contrada dei Guardinfanti," and it was love at first sight. The restaurant's name says it all, and my two friends and I introduced ourselves as "Bourbons." Through laughter and chatter, we met Marianna and her two brothers who run this welcoming restaurant, rediscovering our shared roots. The menu offers a choice of a few dishes (four for each course), but they're surprising: Neapolitan tradition married with Piedmontese (for example, the excellent braised beef in Aglianico) or revisited (linguine with truffle and raw shrimp, cannoli filled with ricotta and mascarpone). There's a wide selection of wines, but I stuck with the superb Aglianico from Le Janare. We returned three nights and were never disappointed. Last but not least.... Don't forget the pizza, which I highly recommend (and the tiramisu too!!!)

25/10/2025: Waitress didnt understand English and we have very limited Italian but we made it work. Food was actually good. Other staff apart from the 1st Waitress were more interested in singing happy birthday to a large party at the back of the restaurant. 1 drink was forgotten. When it came to the bill we were charged wrongly. Only 4 euros but was to embarrassed to mention. Card machine would not accept our card that we had been using the whole holiday and i didnt have enough cash to cover it. Used the same card less than 5 minutes later and it worked. Think the shop has Internet issues rather than it being our cards fault.

05/10/2025: We opted for the daily menu, which was excellent value for money, and the lemon cake was excellent. A positive experience.

13/09/2025: Heading toward San Nicola Arcella, we stopped at this place, drawn by the €15 fixed menu. You can choose between two first courses, one fish or one meat, and two second courses, again one meat and one fish. We ordered three full menus (two meat and one fish) and a caprese salad. Aside from the caprese, which was good (it's not difficult to combine mozzarella and tomato), both the first and second courses were absolutely tasteless. The sautéed chicory was inedible. The wait was interminable. We definitely won't return, nor do we recommend it, but we hope the restaurant will take these criticisms as a starting point for improvement.

03/08/2025: La semplicità paga sempre. Non per forza serve un super impiattamento per colpire ma il gusto e la qualità vincono sempre. Antipasto di mare, primo di tonno, spada. Tutto buonissimo!!!

02/08/2025: Serata trascorsa in famiglia di venerdì sera in un ottima atmosfera. Servizio eccellente, precisi e molto gentili. Antipasti e Primi molto abbondanti e gustosi. Antipasto sardo nella norma, molto buono invece l'antipasto di mare. Molto consigliata la fregola ai frutti di mare, gustosa ed abbondante. Ottimi anche i tagliolini al tonno. Meglio prenotare, in estate può essere affollata. Consigliatissimo.

01/11/2025: I will continue to frequent this place which I consider clean, with very nice and courteous staff. I have been here several times and they never disappoint me, very fair prices, polite and courteous. I found the choice of wines very good and well-known... Compliments to the staff and the chef 💪🏼

22/10/2025: I was craving seafood and ended up here. It was a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was nice. Lunch was listed as starting at 12:30, so I went there and waited, but was told to wait another 20 minutes. I think I was shown back after about 10 minutes. First off, the seating wasn't great. People kept coming and going, probably because it was next to the employee entrance, which was a bit uncomfortable. The food wasn't particularly good, but the seafood dishes were mostly unique.

19/10/2025: The grilled octopus and cuttlefish were unfortunately inedible, as parts were black and rubbery. The chef must have been thinking about other things during preparation. Considering the disaster, the service was unfortunately not remarkable. Pasta (primi piatti) was okay. Conclusion: There are much better restaurants, especially in this price range. Not recommended for tourists.

11/09/2025: This is a restaurant I can't wait to visit again after just one visit! If you're tired of Chinese, Japanese, and Western food, Thai cuisine is a great way to change things up. Every dish is a hit! 👍

07/09/2025: Fast, attentive service but the food came very fast (so I’m not sure if it was prepared before and reheated) The beef tastes like pork - still not sure what it was, it didn’t feel safe to eat it.

07/10/2025: I was traveling alone and was very satisfied overall. The hotel is well-maintained, the staff friendly, and the turndown service was very attentive. The food was also very good quality, as was the pool and the central location. Minor criticisms: The mattress in the single room was unfortunately worn on one side, there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign in the room, and the TV could have been a bit larger. Overall, though, a pleasant stay – with a few minor improvements, it would have been perfect.

12/10/2025: The appetizers were very good, and the pizza with a raw base could be improved. The ingredients were excellent. The service could also be improved. There were many waiters, but the result was slow service. Very nice location.

20/09/2025: A real rip-off. Total inexperience between the owner and the customers. No price listed on the meat after you've chosen it, and no idea what the actual weight is. The meat was served cold and poorly cut. I absolutely do not recommend it.

18/08/2025: Beautiful location with a sea view, good food, and a decent amount of food. The only flaw is the table service, even though the staff are very friendly. However, we strongly recommend telling the waiters what order the dishes came out, as they all arrived at the same time. In any case, we will gladly return if we have the opportunity.
