We stayed one night at the Hotel Europa, me, my mother and our dog. We often come to Padua because we take our dog to a very important veterinary clinic in the Padua area. So in addition to being a Local Guide on Google I can review this hotel because I have excellent judgments given that we have stayed in many hotels in the city and in the area. It is a hotel that essentially has all the requirements we look for in a hotel: it accepts dogs (even large ones like ours), it also accepts dogs in the breakfast room and restaurant (few hotels have these characteristics), it has a garage service private. In Padua it is essential to have a garage service since there is a restricted traffic zone. It is in a strategic position because it is in the center and is close to the streets with luxury shops such as Prada, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Hogan and so on. It is also close to the Arena Gardens with the Scrovegni Chapel. One aspect that I really appreciated was the presence of the balcony with a large window that offers an excellent view of the city both during the day but also in the evening with all the background lights.. The room is very spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is very large, warm and welcoming. There is also a minibar (we didn't find it in many hotels in Padua but it is essential to have it especially for storing purchases made in shops that require controlled temperatures and also for medicines) All the staff are made up of kind people, super helpful and ready to satisfy every need (I had asked for a double key and a double pillow). Furthermore, Mr Damiano also went out of his way to answer in depth and detail all the questions I had asked via email about parking, the restricted traffic zone and the dog... After reading your replies to the email I wrote, I couldn't help but choose this hotel for our stay!! The hotel lobby is open and illuminated all night, another aspect that is not so obvious in Padua... we stayed in hotels where everything is already turned off at 8pm and to enter you have to use passes... The main elevator is very nice with the lounge light effect on the ceiling. On the floors there is also a machine for cleaning and polishing shoes as per tradition in high-end hotels. In summary we have stayed in many hotels but this is among the few that deserve the name Hotel! In Padua there are hotels that have high prices and do not offer all the services that customers are looking for in a hospitality facility. Furthermore, many hotels charge high prices as supplements for the dog (which may not even be allowed in the breakfast room) and for parking/garage (some hotels don't even have it). As far as dogs are concerned, close to the hotel, near Porta Ponte Mulino there is a large dog area in case you don't want to go to the Giardini Dell' Arena in the evening/night (where there is another large dog area). By staying in this hotel I had the opportunity to discover a beautiful and characteristic corner of the city: the Porte Contarine. It is close to all public transport and also to the university. We will definitely return to stay in this hotel because we liked it a lot and it has all the features we look for in a hotel!

Siamo passati oggi ed eravamo un gruppo di 58 persone da Crema (CR). Pranzato benissimo con Bigoli al Ragù Bianco buonissimi (e bis disponibile) nonché sfilacci di pollo con pinoli e uvetta in agrodolce molto apprezzati. Il tutto “annaffiato” con ottimi vini rossi (Cabernet) e bianchi (bollicine di cui non ricordo il nome). Per finire una generosa porzione di tiramisù della tradizione e caffè. Servizio veloce e preciso. Consigliatissimo. Ringrazio anche il nostro Capogruppo Walter P. per l’ottima scelta. Aio!!

Excellent central hotel in Padua.

Hotel located about 15 minutes walk from the train station while the historic center and the Scrovegni Chapel are just a few steps away. The room assigned was spacious and comfortable, complete with a private terrace. The breakfast buffet was excellent, served on the ground floor in the restaurant attached to the structure. Professional and very friendly reception staff. The only two notes I have to make, given that this is a four-star hotel, concern the lack of power sockets in the room (only one) and an adequate number of towel hangers in the bathroom.

A very comfortable 4 star standard. Very kind staff. Clean.

Il ristorante è collegato all’hotel Europa dove alloggiavamo e, oltre alla colazione, abbiamo deciso di utilizzarlo per la nostra cena. Abbiamo scelto tra i piatti della tradizione un antipasto di sarde in saor mentre la mia socia ha preso un buon baccalà mantecato. A seguire bigoli con ragù bianco “di cortile” e seppie con piselli. Piatti buoni anche se non abbondantissimi. Servizio non velocissimo (ma il locale era pieno) e prezzo adeguato.

In an excellent position a stone's throw from the Scrovegni Chapel, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, about ten minutes from the station, very well served by public transport, Hotel Europa is a good base for those traveling for work reasons or those visiting the beautiful Venetian city. The modernist building dates back to a few decades ago but has been adequately renovated: on the ground floor there is a large hall and the restaurant room, which is open only in the evening and where, in the morning, breakfast is served, also with the offer of salty food. The room assigned to me, a double room, is large enough and offers all comforts: in particular, the television screen is large. Kindness, availability and courtesy of the staff are guaranteed, all at a good price considering the overall level of quality.

The hotel is located in a strategic position, it is practically possible to visit the entire center of Padua on foot and with a 15 minute walk you can reach the train station. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is plentiful. You can also eat in their restaurant, but I recommend making a reservation
