10/03/2026: Sunday family lunch: The food was pretty good, the prices were average, but the real problem with this place was the service. We sat down at 1:30 PM and ordered appetizers, which were finished by 3:00 PM. The main courses also arrived staggered, preventing us from eating together. Overall, we weren't impressed, so I don't think I'll return.

12/04/2026: I found myself alone in Piombino for work and, intrigued by the reviews, I decided to dine at Taverna dei Boncompagni. The quality of the food (from appetizer to dessert) and the service were superb. The skate and the dry-aged snapper took me back to Japan, the risotto delicious, the yuzu dessert a refreshing finish to cleanse the palate. Simone was a unique host, demonstrating great hospitality and an in-depth knowledge of the ingredients and wines. The #1 restaurant in the area, I recommend everyone to try it!

04/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at the Bellavista Restaurant in Tricase, and the experience was simply excellent. The location is stunning, with a breathtaking view that creates a relaxing and romantic atmosphere, perfect for couples or friends. The real highlight, however, was the food, especially the fried squid from Leuca: absolutely extraordinary. The squid were incredibly fresh, tender, and flavorful, fried to perfection with a light, crispy coating that wasn't greasy at all. A balanced dish, delicate yet rich in flavor, among the best fried seafood I've ever eaten. The service was also excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, always available but never intrusive. The wine list was good, and the prices were appropriate for the quality of the dishes and the location. I highly recommend the Bellavista Restaurant to anyone who wants to eat high-quality seafood and enjoy a special evening with a wonderful view. I will definitely return, especially to try the fantastic fried squid from Leuca.

19/11/2025: Good food, but the girl who answers the phone is EMBARRASSINGLY rude and acidic towards customers... the prices advertised on their official website are lower than those you actually find on the bill, I would say that all of this is very serious and should be considered a good quick change of staff in contact with customers.... 09/04/2026: The place is a bit small for the potential of the business, the food and service are excellent, the portions are so "you won't wake up hungry", the price is fair, it's run more like a home than a business, it's really good. If we want to find a flaw, but to be picky, the smell from the kitchen goes a bit into the dining room, but without making it a drama.
