While searching for an authentic osteria, we stumbled upon this gem in the heart of Salerno on a recommendation. Over two evenings, we enjoyed fantastic food, a welcoming atmosphere where even tourists immediately feel at home, pleasant conversations with the owner, good wine, and my personal favorite: the cheesecake (two pictures attached, as I simply had to have it twice). I would rename it, perhaps "La regina dei dolci" (The Queen of Sweets) ;) A complimentary appetizer was served beforehand, which was almost enough to fill you up. All in all, my favorite culinary spot in Salerno.

Restaurant "Dedicato a mio padre": authenticity, memories, and seafood flavors
There are restaurants where you don't just go to eat, but to enjoy an experience built on connection, trust, and continuity. "Dedicato a mio padre" is one of them.
The added value is undoubtedly Raimondo, the owner: friendly, attentive, and profoundly knowledgeable, capable—even after a long time—of remembering his customers' tastes and preferences. This is a sign of professionalism born from experience and passionate management.
His knowledge is reflected above all in his choice of raw materials, especially the fish, always fresh and of the highest quality, served both raw and cooked with great respect for the product. Trusting him is almost natural: letting yourself be guided becomes part of the experience.
The appetizers were well-balanced in portions but excellent in freshness, while the linguine with squid ink is a truly extraordinary dish, one that lingers in your memory.
The restaurant maintains the feel of an authentic seafood trattoria, without excess or formal refinement: a simple atmosphere, still in need of aesthetic improvement, but amply compensated by the quality of the cuisine.
The service, led by young waiters, is polite, attentive, and in keeping with the setting. The quality/price ratio is also good, making the experience accessible and authentic.
👉 A restaurant that focuses on the essence: raw ingredients, experience, and a personal connection. And when these elements come together, the result is simply convincing.

A typical local restaurant. The food is good. The portions were small for the price, which was disappointing, considering the tables around us, where regulars were serving very generous portions. In short, we noticed different treatment between walk-in customers and regulars.

Best seafood scialatelli I've ever had! Delicious and tasty hot seafood appetizers. Everything was absolutely delicious. For me, it's the best seafood restaurant in Salerno.

A place in the center of Salerno with delicious dishes... great customer service... my wife, who can't. She could eat flour, and she was treated wonderfully... they brought her gluten-free bread and offered a welcome appetizer, made especially for her... for me, instead, a montanara as a welcome... the pasta alla nerano was fantastic and the parmigiana very delicate... the place is clean and welcoming and makes you feel at home... the staff is very kind and the prices are reasonable... recommended

Small restaurant of excellent quality, lovely, polite, and efficient staff. Great value for money. The food is top-notch; the tiramisu is incredible 😋 I highly recommend it.
