20/10/2025: I was at dinner with my family last Saturday evening. I must admit that the welcome was extremely evasive. The confusion was embarrassing, even when ordering. Some dishes were served distractedly, with no regard for order or timing; I must admit, this was very disappointing. The fish, as well as the meat, were absolutely not worth the price (a stringy fillet (?) of about 100-150 grams cost 18 euros, while the grilled cuttlefish were so salty they were inedible). We raised our concerns with the wait staff, who assured us they would report them to the owner. We received no response. When I reached the cash register, I expected the owner to show his understanding, but instead he allowed himself to be haughty and ironic, lacking even the most basic humility. This place doesn't follow the "customer is always right" rule; in the end, you always have to pay. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

At Pesce alla Brace da Fabietto, the owner welcomed us kindly, and you can sense the effort to keep a homely, honest atmosphere. However, the service from the older waiter seemed to follow his own mood — he took as long as he wished to bring the bill and served bread to other tables before ours, even though we arrived earlier. There were three of us; my mother and I each paid around one thousand pesos, without wine — just water and a Fanta. The fish was good, decent, but the service did not match the price or the Italian hospitality we expected. Good cooking, but an inconsistent experience. Three stars if one is generous, mostly for the owner’s kindness rather than anything else.

For me, spaghetti with pesto and Sorrento lemon zest, imposed by the two people behind me. For her, fusilloni with zucchini and zucchini flowers stuffed with mussels. A perfect blend of sea and land, accompanied by an excellent bottle of Arneis. It was pleasant to be there, in that spot next to the harbor, on a beautiful day when, around 1 pm, we could enjoy a cool breeze coming from the sea. A lunch that wasn't just food, but an experience. We didn't eat anything else today, but this review is also an opportunity to take stock of another dinner a few days ago. And precisely because we had such a good time the other evening—I think it was Wednesday—we returned. On Wednesday, we were greeted with an appetizer, again with mantis shrimp, and with gratinated mussels, which I'm fond of (I'm a creature of habit). Then, after requesting the usual roast sea bass, the owner "scolded" me, pointing out that, since the fishing ban had ended just the day before, the sea had yielded the best there was on the market and that eating a training fish was crazy. So we ate a mixed grill of monkfish, sole, uniquely delicious calamari, and more. In their simplicity, it was like eating the sea. The lemon? Felix replied, "It's just for garnish. It's not used on good fish." It was a sublime evening, too. Felix's friendliness makes everything more authentic; the courtesy of his wife, who, alongside him, does the hosting for every table, makes you feel welcomed like family. And then the waiters, chosen from among the young men from Fano who are eager to gain experience: with their good-natured manner, they immediately put you at ease, as if the person serving you were the son of a family friend or a nephew. The service is fast and professional, the place is cute, you can eat under a pergola in the shade, and the food is excellent! The mussels and clams are simply cooked and delicious, the seafood risotto is excellent and super filling, the mixed fried fish with vegetables is light, not greasy, and just the right amount of salt, and the sardines, even the simply cooked ones, are excellent and plentiful. Special mention for the snails in porchetta: they are simply fantastic! We finished the meal with the excellent Moretta di Fano. The prices are also great!
