04/05/2025: Welcome to Locanda La Pioppa, between Via Emilia and the West, a few steps from the motorway and the unrivaled craftsmanship of the Truck Driver Monument. An oasis for robust stomachs and tired souls, where time has stopped, probably to have a sambuca. Proudly preserved 90s interiors and zoological-hallucinogenic wallpaper with intellectual raccoons, mystical birds and assorted mammals. Friendly and welcoming staff. We ate well. Super generous dishes, perhaps a little too tasty: 1 plate of Fantasia di Mare scialatielli (and oil), peppered mussels (which are actually Taranto-style mussels), 1 portion of grilled vegetables and 1 bottle of water. Cost: 41.50. An honest amount for a hearty meal and a digestion that will end in a few weeks but the atmosphere is so irresistible that we will be back!

10/08/2025: The restaurant's location is beautiful, but it's a shame it doubles as a bar in the evening, so the loud music from the speakers carries through to the tables. The service is a sore point; when we asked for a second course to be shared between two, we were served two dirty plates with food leftovers. The place has great potential, especially given its breathtaking location on the Romito rocks; it needs work.

24/07/2025: My husband and I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. We tried the Tonnarelli, Munnezzaglia, and Gran fritto. Everything was excellent, the fried food dry and crispy. The atmosphere was small but cozy, and the background music by Pino Daniele was truly enjoyable. I recommend it for the taste of the food, but it's a bit pricey.

19/07/2025: Per chi ama il baccalà ed una cucina gustosa e semplice, Baccalaria è un riferimento importante al centro di Napoli. Servizio sempre cortese e buona cucina. Forse prezzi un po’ troppo alti.

06/08/2025: They weigh the food you select and somehow after they fry it, it seems like they reduced the food. I can swear we got much more during weigh in. The pasta vongole was also the worst we had in Palermo so do not order it. I would not come back for the food. However the cooked pulpa was good, but how can that go wrong?

04/05/2025: Let's hope those from the famous guide don't stop by to give it one star otherwise it will then become unattainable for us mortals. Let's start with the kindness of the service, we really liked it especially for those who are now used to a very aseptic service. The dishes are very good, balanced, without ever exceeding the flavors and tones. You have to go. Small note on tiramisu, finally someone who has understood that if you "build" it yourself, giving excellent ingredients it will always be the best tiramisu you have eaten!

28/04/2025: After so many years, the quality is always constant, it's a shame that the Porto Potenza Picena stage doesn't enhance this which has become a place of our heart. The chitarrina alla marinara is always tasty and executed to perfection, as is the mixed grill.

26/07/2025: It was the first time I'd climbed those stairs... then that terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. I must say it was a unique experience, a charm I find hard to describe. I thank the staff who took care of my puppy and prepared his requested food. The service and food were impeccable. I'll be back soon because beautiful things are unforgettable. 29/05/2025: Come da titolo do un merito speciale all’accoglienza, le ragazze erano davvero attente a farci stare bene e farci sentire a casa. Abbiamo preso una grigliata molto buona di peece molto fresco, speghetti con scampi alla busara e una pizza. Tutto il cibo era molto buono e ben cucinato, spaghetto al dente come piace a me e come dovrebbe sempre essere. Grazie per la bellissima esperienza.

20/05/2025: Una grande scoperta. Locale curato nei minimi dettagli, personale attento, accogliente e preparato. Abbiamo condiviso un antipasto di prosciutto crudo e bufala, semplicemente delizioso e di qualità. Successivamente abbiamo preso due primi piatti: spaghetto aglio, olio e peperoncino e gli gnocchi fatti in casa con gorgonzola e pistacchi, entrambi ottimi! Pasta fresca, ingredienti di qualità e piatti fatti al momento. Una piacevole serata. Complimenti a tutto il personale, grazie. Torneremo sicuramente da Mirco e tutto il suo staff.

02/08/2025: My boyfriend and I went for a relaxing day, purchasing a day pass to the pool and spa. We immediately noticed how small the changing rooms were (the phone in the men's changing room wasn't working). We enjoyed lunch (which was good), and then, around 5:00 PM (the bar opens), we wanted a simple gin and tonic, which we ordered with almost empty tonic water. I should point out that we went there at 5:15 PM, as there wasn't even a large crowd. Given the look of the place, we expected a slightly more welcoming and less friendly "bar." Otherwise, it's a very charming place and an impressive structure. One thing I should note is the position of the loungers, as they were on a slope and weren't very comfortable. I don't think we'll be back again.

30/07/2025: I stayed here for one night and two days. The property is nestled in the Tuscan hills, and the view upon arrival is worth the trip. The staff welcomed me warmly, explaining everything in detail. The spa is small but welcoming, with a hot tub and an infinity pool overlooking the hills and olive trees. The dinner was divine: each course was a little taste of paradise. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and eat well.

31/07/2025: A place with a unique and welcoming architectural atmosphere, service provided by competent and friendly staff, and delicious dishes of excellent quality, both fish and meat, cooked with "art." Definitely worth returning to and recommending.

18/08/2025: The food was super good! Service was okay; the waiter had to be reminded by his colleague that we didn't have a menu yet. He seemed very distracted during every interaction, and while paying, he was talking to his colleague at the same time. A very nice location right on Lake Garda. The restroom was clean!

15/08/2025: We chose an outdoor table on the lakefront, with a stunning view. The staff was kind, accommodating, and friendly. The best bigoli with sardines I've ever eaten, and the trio of lake fish was also delicious. And finally, the restrooms were spacious, bright, clean, fragrant, and even equipped for babies. Congratulations and thank you.
