21/09/2025: After being there a few years ago, we barely managed to speak to someone to make a reservation. Absolutely true, the staff was friendly and the location was beautiful. However, we ordered an appetizer consisting of two marinated anchovies, a slice of tuna and a slice of swordfish, an anchovy meatball, and two grams of octopus on a half potato cake... €18, okay... Catch of the day? A dolphin fish of about 300 grams for the modest sum of €40, and that's also fine (they cost no more than €12 per kg) retail. I ordered a peppered mussel... dry, overcooked, tiny, and rubbery... €13. I don't like to cause controversy in restaurants; I'm a chef and I teach at a hotel school... The customer must be respected. Certain "stuff" should NOT be brought to the table. A plate of mussels costs nothing; if you make a mistake, it can happen. But DON'T BRING IT to the table! No arguments, I simply won't be coming back!

Even from the large parking lot, though often crowded due to the large crowds, you can sense the atmosphere of a beloved destination, one where people willingly return because they know what awaits them. A FILM SET FROM ANOTHER TIME Crossing the threshold is like entering a film from another era, where elegance translates into sobriety and style into character. The venue's decor has a vintage feel, but not dated: rather, "classic." It's a place that retains its identity without chasing passing trends. The rooms are bright, spacious yet intimate, with corners that shelter conversation and offer privacy even when the venue is full. The light is bright yet warm, like an embrace that invites you to stay. THE MENU The menu tells the story of a cuisine that isn't afraid to branch out. Fish and meat, first courses, pizzas, desserts: everything finds its place in a balance that isn't distracting but generous. I chose fried calamari with chips, a classic that here becomes an everyday poem. Perfectly crispy, lightly fried, golden chips. A dish that, despite its simplicity, reveals craftsmanship and attention to detail. THE SERVICE The staff is the true soundtrack to the experience: kind, attentive, and smiling. Their helpfulness is genuine, not superficial. The speed of service doesn't detract from their attentive service, and every request is answered with courtesy. You can feel that authentic Friulian hospitality, made of politeness and warmth, that makes you feel at home even if you're not. CONCLUSION Ancona Due isn't a "once and gone" restaurant: it's one of those places that becomes a point of reference, a refuge, a certainty. Each dinner confirms the previous one and adds something new, like a friend who always knows how to say the right thing at the right time. A full five-star rating, deserved not for luxury or appearance, but for consistency, quality, and heart. A classic that never ages, because authenticity never goes out of style.

16/10/2025: On the two occasions we've dined with our dog, we've found the staff to be warm, professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The food, both meat and seafood, is delicious and beautifully prepared and served. The bill is fair, and the satisfaction we felt at the end of the meal naturally led us to compliment them on their ability to make us have a pleasant time. Thanks again.

25/10/2025: Every time I go to Sapri, be it summer, winter, fall, or spring, I HAVE to have a Lucifero dinner. Latest experience (but there have been others, all memorable): - appetizer: mussels marinara: discovered this summer and already addicted: top marks; - main course (I'll skip the first course, since I'm on a diet...): native scorpion fish stew with baby cuttlefish: I enjoy it at the right pace (deeping it myself) with an excellent Falanghina: top marks; - house dessert (don't tell the dietician): I'm sorry, but I couldn't resist: academic kiss. In short, a dinner worthy of publication, in a beautiful and traditional restaurant. Not to mention the service: efficient, thorough, unobtrusive, and friendly. The prices? You'll pay, at most, 5 euros less than what you'd pay, at least, in Milan.

24/05/2025: Location molto bella, la vista che si gode dal giardino, terrazzo e anche dal ristorante è unica, come la proposta del menù, dove la tradizione è rivisitata con un tocco di avanguardia e sapori forti. Un posto scoperto grazie ai Social e che sicuramente ci vedrà presto, vale il viaggio, anche il servizio attento e la possibilità di portare il nostro cane ha aiutato a rendere l'esperienza molto gradevole.

05/04/2025: Torniamo sempre volentieri al ristorante La Perla e ogni volta emozioni diverse sia dal punto di vista culinario con piatti che esaltano il palato e gli occhi...ambiente elegante e sobrio con personale di sala sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente con cortesia e professionalità La presenza discreta degli chef Alberto e Edoardo è rassicurante e un punto fermo del ristorante. Questa sera ci hanno deliziato con piatti abilmente preparati e compresi nel nuovo menù di primavera, allego le foto.

30/08/2025: The atmosphere is a bit spartan, but it overlooks the beautiful Spiaggiola Bay. The staff is very friendly and generous with recommendations for the dishes on offer. The food is excellent, with seafood dishes featuring simple yet unpretentious flavors, and a keen eye for tradition. Well worth a visit.

05/11/2025: Courtesy and kindness are not lacking, it is not a real restaurant, very simple, with good food, served under a tent in the square in front of the kitchen, looking at it like this it seems as if it started out as a take-away and then transformed into a restaurant.

25/10/2025: It's located in the Castel Capuano area, about a 15-minute walk from Naples Central Station, but the food is excellent. The Pomodoro is highly rated, but this time I ordered spaghetti alla Sorrentina and arrabiata. Both were delicious for the price, and while the terrace seating isn't the best, it was fine. If I'm ever in Naples, I'd definitely visit again. The staff are abrupt and reserved, but the cooking is excellent, so it's best not to worry. It has the kind of atmosphere that locals frequent, and it's worth the money compared to the tourist-oriented area around the station!

05/09/2025: Highly recommend taking a walk and coming to visit Edi House. The staff was very friendly and did not seem bothered by me practicing my italian. The food and drinks tasted amazing! We had lemon gin tonics and a charcuterie board to share. We then had the Vitello Milanese and the Salmone al limone with pine nuts. The salmon and veal were perfectly cooked and tasted great. The veal had a bed of fresh arugula and tomatoes to balance the plate. The salmon lemon sauce was really fresh and the pine nuts gave it a nice touch. Finally for dessert we had the lemon sorbet and the mini babas in limoncello. The sorbet was so soft and airy and tasted great. The babas were very flavourful with limoncello and we complimened that with espressos. It is our first night in Florence and we will try to come back before we leave! The restaurant is very welcoming and has lots of space including a terrace. Try to reserve in advance using the google option just to make sure you get a table. Not too noisy and very well decorated. For people with allergies or intolerances, the menu itemizes common allergens in specific food items which is really well thought out. Thank you for the great evening!

01/10/2025: We opted for the all-you-can-eat "served aperitivo" set menu for my graduation. They gave us the private room downstairs in the wine bar, which was very nice. Everything was as agreed upon, the price was fair for the offering, and the guests were satisfied.
