If you don't have many expectations... that's fine

El Tintero, a famous place in the area, recently tried. Standardized menu, expertly "channelled" by the owner who offered everyone the same choice: raw carpaccio, scampi, oysters (too sandy and with a lemon aftertaste) scallops (thawed); shrimp risotto (...and garlic); mixed fried and grilled scampi and prawns. Commercial sweets. I would say that the review can be summed up in the classic maxim "without infamy and without praise". The only real applause for the owner, a real asset to the place.

Perfect dishes, you can savor the freshness of the food enhanced in cooking. Comfortable environment, excellent service, correct waiting times between one course and another. The staff is available and attentive to needs and requests, professionalism and experience.

Pranzo a base di pesce. Titolare molto cortese ci ha subito messo a nostro agio consigliandoci le portate. Qualità nei piatti, consigliato assolutamente. .

Had Lunch here on Christmas Day. Very few customers when we arrived at about midday but it soon filled up. We travelled by public bus from Malaga, about 10 minutes ride at a cost of one euro 20 cents. The restaurant is right by the beach. We were that early we ordered our meals from a waiter but within 15 minutes or so customers were selecting their meals & drinks from the waiters as they walked around shouting out what they had to offer. The experience is great, the food we had was good, Monk Fish, mixed salad and garlic prawns. Couple of large beers,couple of soft drinks came to about £40. Only gripe I had was the dry bread put on your table without ordering any. On the way out you are asked where you are from, pay the bill and if you leave a tip the guy loudly rings the bell and lets everyone know the English guy tipped ! The customer behind us was German I head him say, but I didn’t hear the bell toll !
