Their specialties are stock and cod, both for appetizers and first courses, prepared with great skill, and last but not least, river shrimp, which reflect the ancient Sarno tradition. Their delicate cuisine allows you to fully savor the raw ingredients, excellent service, and a well-kept venue create the perfect atmosphere for an evening with family or friends.

31/10/2025: We had a very good meal at a reasonable price. The risotto was generous. The tables were perhaps a little small to be truly comfortable, and the waiter didn't speak loudly enough; we often had to ask him to repeat himself, but these are minor details that didn't spoil our last evening in Levanto.

31/10/2025: VERY LOW-QUALITY RAW MATERIALS, NOT A FISH RESTAURANT! The positive reviews were the reason for our choice. This restaurant, famous in Levanto for its long history, used to have very good food. The lady from Levanto, who was hosting us, explained to us the next day that the new management had completely overhauled the cuisine, where fresh fish and seafood dishes have plummeted, and the locals carefully avoid them... Obviously, we couldn't have known this. We confirm everything, and the NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUE and fully reflect our experience. The two mixed seafood appetizers are beyond comment: various types of fish straight out of the cans full of seed oil, a stuffed dried-out mussel, and a black ball with a tiny gamefish inside a circle with a toothpick next to it, which we had to spit out into a napkin, bitter and with a terrifying taste. For our first course, we had spaghetti "with fish," completely bland and completely devoid of fish! There were only scraps of shrimp or mantis shrimp carcasses, undeniable, and completely flavorless. Not to mention the mixed fried fish; we were still digesting it the next day. We woke up shocked by so much mockery, the bill was quite hefty, but here there was no trace of the sea or of cooking skills. At the cash register, I noticed that the kitchen was staffed only by Indians, who probably don't know how to cook or even how to run a fresh seafood restaurant! Money is hard to earn, and to throw it away like this is sad and very annoying!

13/09/2025: Super friendly and attentive waiters and waitresses. Excellent food, whether it's fish (freshly caught, charged by weight), pizza, or meat. A top-notch fresh salad. Special requests are no problem, and there's a good selection of beers and an excellent wine list. And the prices? All-inclusive for 4 adults: €140. (2 scampi/calamari, 1 manzo, 1 pizza, 1 ragu, 4 salads, bread, wine, beer, water, 2 espressos). The value for money is good. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's very spacious, yet cozy. Reservations are recommended during peak season.

24/10/2025: Exceptional pizzas! Excellent cuisine! Efficient and attentive staff! The owner is also very friendly (as well as capable). Our opinion is overwhelmingly positive. Especially for business lunches, groups, or dinners with friends. Definitely less suitable for couples or romantic dinners. Ample parking. Enjoy your stay!

11/09/2025: The food was excellent, you can feel the quality and expertise of a family restaurant. The decor is warm and welcoming, you immediately feel at home. Special mention for the seafood pasta 🦞, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place!

The atmosphere is very rustic and stands out from all the other restaurants; it feels like stepping back in time. The menu is written on the blackboard, and Gigi manages all the tables himself. 24/10/2025: A restaurant hidden in a small village. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a family lunch. We tried all the appetizers, and they were truly delicious. I recommend a small detour, it's worth it.

10/11/2025: La Vecchia Londra, on Corso Inghilterra, is a place I've been going to for 40 years. Partly because it's close to home and partly because it's had several owners over the years, but the food remains consistently good. In the early years, it was a very basic restaurant run by Neapolitans: the pizza was better than Cit Turin. Then, it was renovated and now it looks more like a French brasserie. The pizzas are excellent, with many varieties. The à la carte menu is also well-curated. The last time I went there, I had a pizza with gorgonzola and walnuts and a bunet for dessert. Everything was delicious. There are quite a few people who go there alone because it's a welcoming place and the prices are affordable. For me, it's a bit like being at home. The staff is very friendly.

22/09/2025: Maybe it's the atmosphere, the novelty, or the location, considering that part of the portico we saw, but it seemed like a fantastic place to us. All this without diminishing the deliciousness and abundance of the dishes we enjoyed, all served with great professionalism and kindness. Those five or six tight hairpin bends are definitely worth the effort, especially for the view from that height. Parking wasn't a problem for us, especially since it was late September. We'll definitely be back to try their other dishes.

03/11/2025: It took me a week to write my review because I was searching for the right words. I couldn't find them!! My partner had told me about Signora Caterina's tortelli, but I wasn't expecting such a sublime dish. No flaws, the pasta, the filling, and the ragù literally won me over, so much so that I ordered a second helping. I'll be back as soon as I can; unfortunately, the distance from Rome doesn't allow me to be there every day. Truly something indescribable. Thank you so much, Signora Caterina, for your excellent cuisine and your hospitality.

22/09/2025: Good pizza and reasonable prices. The place is very large, though a bit dated. Outdoor dining is available in the summer. Service was acceptable, though not professional, but family-like. The desserts, though homemade, weren't exactly amazing... Free parking. We'll try again, perhaps in the summer evenings. We've visited the place again; the desserts aren't the best, but the pizza is good. The €2.80 cover charge is excessive!
