I was truly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the care with which each dish is prepared. The fish is incredibly fresh, impeccably cooked, and presented with great attention to detail. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to recommend the perfect dish or wine. The elegant yet welcoming atmosphere makes the experience even more enjoyable, whether for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends. Don't miss the raw fish appetizer: an explosion of flavors! The first courses are also excellent, and the desserts are amazing. The quality/price ratio is absolutely right for the quality offered. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back!

In my opinion, it's the best seafood restaurant in Milan. A truly elegant place, not very large, and decorated with great care. The staff is very helpful and courteous, and above all, the seafood dishes are truly exceptional. A 10 for the tartare, the paccheri with lobster, and the sea bass.

Everything was perfect, starting with the kind and cordial welcome and the refined and charming atmosphere. A truly wonderful evening, with excellent quality dishes and exquisite flavor combinations, which, along with the professionalism of the waiter who served us last night, made the experience fantastic.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at the Mare Crudo restaurant in Milan with some friends. The experience was excellent in every way. We were greeted with great courtesy and professionalism, finding an elegant and perfectly set table. The service was distinguished by the attentive yet discreet presence of the staff, always ready to satisfy every request with expertise and kindness. The dishes, meticulously presented and impeccably flavored, showcased the quality of the fresh, top-quality fish. The wine selection was also excellent, harmoniously pairing the dishes. A special thanks to Antonio and Valentino for their hospitality and attentive service, which contributed to a truly enjoyable evening. I highly recommend Mare Crudo to anyone seeking a high-end gastronomic experience combining seafood and refinement.

26/04/2026: The conservative opening hours of Milan’s more traditional eateries became only more stringent post covid. MILAN eats early and it is not uncommon that a restaurant closes its kitchen as early as 10pm. Last night was the last of seven of Milan Design week. On leaving an event at 22hrs we walked the dark MILAN streets hungry and in need of rest. We called in to all and many restaurants along our way only to me met with the unwelcome and increasingly familiar “chiuso’ - we’re closed - delivered across the full spectrum from polite and friendly to just rude! That is until we came to.… PANE & TULIPANI! To say the the staff here love their job and welcome you with infectious enthusiasm is an understatement! Not only were we welcomed in, at damn neat 23h by the time we reached them, it was a full welcome with no feeling of haste. Our water was incredibly personable and informed. He suggested puntarella with anchovies that turned out to be finished! We switched to the delicious artichoke only to be surprised when he arrived triumphant with a plate of punteralla they had quickly whipped up for us.… And on the house! On most first nights in italy i crave a simple plate is spaghetti pomodoro ( tomato sauce) … it was not on the menu last night yet, without missing a beat, our waiter made the dish happen for me while sharing his love of that simple dish. Our dinner remained simple.. Two plates of pasta, vongole and tomato, a glass iof white wine and a great derivitave of grappa from Piedmont our waiter insisted we discover. Despite the hour we never felt rushed. The whole experience was superbly typical of a Milan of yesteryear that thankfully lives on. Thank you and congratulations to all of the team for an unexpected experience of great food and welcome. The cherry on the cake was that I left my jacket behind and only discovered it when we had just reached home. My brother turned back to walk to collect it.… only to meet our waiter who had come half way to meet him!!! BRAVO PANE & TULIPANI!!!

06/05/2026: Beautiful and delicious experience... warm, typically Roman atmosphere, excellent dishes, close to those eaten in Rome... friendly, friendly but professional staff, well done
05/05/2026: Really not very good. Pasta too much al dented in a lake of tomato sauce. Possibly the same sauce used for the meat course. This was huge and the oxtail tough, it needed at least another hour of cooking. The lamb was definitely sheep - very old animals.
