27/06/2025: Best meal we had in Positano! We got the pasta bolognese, pasta with seafood and the pork dish. All were excellent! Service was outstanding as well.

29/07/2025: Wonderful experience! I'm celiac and was looking for a place to eat that could offer something for me. I called the restaurant, and they promptly reassured me that the entire menu was available gluten-free. When I arrived, I was greeted by the very kind and helpful waiters, who quickly served me a delicious plate of ziti with tuna Genovese, fried fish, and sandwiches. There's also the option of a gluten-free dessert, but the abundance of dishes made it difficult. I'll definitely try that next time. Highly recommended!

29/07/2025: We were greeted by the very kind staff. The food was excellent, the terrace well-kept, clean, and pleasant. Even my celiac daughter was able to dine, choosing any dish from the menu, which was then prepared gluten-free for her.

12/06/2025: We went to this restaurant for the 2/6 long weekend we ate well, served with cordiality and timing. the view of the port of Lerici is priceless

11/06/2025: I went with my girlfriend for dinner on Saturday night and it was all very nice. We ordered the €25 per person menu which included three appetizers (one of which was based on anchovies which we don't like, and the waitress promptly offered to change the appetizer in question with stuffed mussels), spaghetti allo scoglio, mixed fried fish, water, coffee and cover charge. The portions were abundant and delicious, I personally really enjoyed both the potato and shrimp pie and the stuffed mussels, as well as the spaghetti allo scoglio and the fried fish, of course. Quick and friendly service from the staff and a really fair price. The only small flaw is that being on the seafront (and therefore it is a beautiful location anyway), it is a bit difficult to find parking. Try it, you won't regret it!

15/06/2025: Quando vengo da Cantù passo sempre da questo locale a mangiare. La prima cosa che balza all’occhio è la cortesia di Ottavio e di tutto il personale. Pizze squisite, cucina semplice ma che offre piatti buonissimi. I dolci… beh veramente super! E’ talmente una garanzia che la scelta di quel che mangiamo la lasciamo ad Ottavio. Assolutamente da provare!

16/06/2025: Courtesy and helpfulness. Excellent quality of the fish served. The owner is an excellent restaurateur (the old ones I mean). Average prices. The outside is very beautiful. It is practically a garden in a forest. I had a very very good time. When I return to those parts, I will not fail to return to eat well. The waiter was very kind and very helpful. Among other things I think he is made for communication. A real genius. Try it and you will not regret it.

27/07/2025: We visited this seafood restaurant and can't say enough good things about it! We tried both cooked and raw dishes, and everything was simply exceptional. The fish was incredibly fresh, and you could immediately taste the quality of the raw fish: scampi, prawns, seafood, and oysters with a delicate yet bold flavor, truly worthy of applause. The cooked dishes were equally impressive: from the hot appetizers to the seafood first courses, each course was meticulously prepared, perfectly cooked and with balanced flavors. You could feel the attention to the ingredients and a cuisine that truly showcases the fish without overpowering it with too much seasoning. The service was friendly and attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere made the lunch even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those seeking a true seafood experience, with quality ingredients and a touch of elegance. Excellent value, we'll definitely return.

05/07/2025: Always a great experience. The fish is fantastic, especially the spaghetti al cartoccio! The desserts are also delicious! For children, the pizza is shaped like a teddy bear! Very large place, also suitable for ceremonies. The staff is always courteous and friendly. We were there for our anniversary and, having found out by chance, they improvised the wishes with a candle on the cake, a really nice thought! Thanks, see you soon!

23/07/2025: Alvise is an exceptional chef. He's young and passionate, and this shines through in his dishes, where every flavor is perfectly balanced. His menu maintains tradition, combining a touch of sophistication without ever losing balance, thus offering a refined and special menu. My partner and I return every time and are always amazed by the quality and deliciousness of the dishes. The service is welcoming and professional, and the wines are exceptional. Absolutely not to be missed. You will be delighted.

15/06/2025: We ate fish at the landing on the advice of a friend, we were quite dissatisfied, even though the service was very efficient we shared a spaghetti with seafood between 3 of us which was nothing special (17 €), and for main courses a slice of tuna which was definitely overcooked (18 €), a grilled squid which was very salty (17 or 18 I think) and a mixed grill (21 € I think) which in the end was the dish that was the best, chips of very low quality (like at the kebab shop) and a portion of grilled vegetables which was very miserable, the prices of the main courses in my opinion are high compared to the quality of the fish which in my opinion was low, in other restaurants for the same price you eat much fresher fish, lower the prices or raise the quality

26/07/2025: The food was good and the setting pleasant, though nothing particularly special. Service was average. What really disappointed me was the way our reservation was handled. Despite booking well in advance, the owner tried to seat us “indoors”. Only after we firmly insisted were we given a table outside. I Overall, the atmosphere was unremarkable, and while the food was good, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.

And then there is Villa Verde, which drapes itself in reputation like an ill-fitting costume, hoping the sparkle of Capri will mask what lies beneath. Despite securing our reservation through the concierge of a five-star property — a gesture that should carry weight and ensure a degree of care — we were led past the glamour and seated in what can only be described as exile: a corner of the restaurant. My partner faced a trio of wilted flowerpots, while I enjoyed a front-row seat to the mess and clatter of the waiters’ service station. The atmosphere was less la dolce vita and more backstage at a wedding buffet. Service was a rumor. No real welcome, no presence, no rhythm. We poured our own wine, twice, while staff swirled around us as if on autopilot, too understaffed or indifferent to notice. The food? A theatrical exercise in plating — average in taste, but priced as though it had Michelin stars whispering in its ear. And then — the music. What is it with the music? One moment it's pulsing like a beach club at midnight, the next it's hushed to a whisper. The volume swelled and dropped like a DJ unsure of which party he's playing for. If this was an intentional effect, words fail. Villa Verde is not a restaurant. It is a reputation machine, feeding on the illusions of Capri rather than delivering its essence. Overrated, overstretched, and ultimately forgettable — except for the price. Capri deserves far better. So do its guests.
