At Passo di Giano, we were captivated by authentic cuisine, showcasing the flavors of lake fish with skill and passion. We began with a rich assortment of lake appetizers, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, which alone were worth the visit: delicate yet bold flavors, thoughtful pairings, and top-quality ingredients. The highlight of the lunch was a spectacular mixed lake grill, with perfectly cooked and flavorful fish, followed by two memorable dishes: eel in white wine, tender and intense, and grilled carp, surprisingly tasty and served impeccably cooked. To accompany everything, an excellent local wine, carefully chosen and perfect for enhancing each course. To finish on a sweet note, a simply delicious caramel panna cotta: creamy, velvety, and with an aromatic caramel that won everyone over. The service was warm and attentive, with friendly and helpful staff who were able to offer excellent advice. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a quiet lunch, with a view of the lake that makes everything even more special. Highly recommended for those who love authentic local flavors and seek authentic yet refined cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

19/10/2025: Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and excellent pizzas. My only advice is to invest in new knives, because we had a lot of trouble cutting the pizzas, even with a little force.

12/10/2025: What can I say about this place? It was my first time there, and I decided to have a seafood dinner. The appetizer, main course, and grilled fish were amazing. The dessert was also excellent. The service was prompt and fast.

19/10/2025: The location was average. We ordered a complete, hot, raw appetizer, the other raw entrees were mediocre. Then we began waiting almost an hour for the hot appetizers, which, even after we had requested them, arrived and were of terrible quality. The seafood parmigiana was nonexistent, and the mussels au gratin were also nonexistent. Finally, two pitiful first courses arrived in a hurry: one white with scampi and one of their specialties, and the second red, basically the same as the first course but with tomato. In conclusion, I would like to say that the restaurant seems very overrated and the dishes are below what is praised on Google. Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend it.

22/09/2025: I went to Rete a few days ago. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere welcoming, and the quality and freshness of the fish was undeniable. We had a complete house appetizer, two glasses of wine, and a dessert with a small discount of €100. The appetizers were about 10 small samples, so I expected something more substantial considering the price. Especially since, if we'd had the option of a first course and a fried fish, it would have been around €80-90. I think the price is a bit high.

02/11/2025: The pasta is very overpriced for teeny tiny portions, but the pizza is a great deal. The staff is great with tourists and english, but be prepared for the italian dinner time frames, because we waited for over 30 minutes to order dessert, even with attempts at flagging down the waiter and multiple eye lockings. Generally just a cultural experience though

12/10/2025: There are restaurants you visit once, and others you long to return to: Le Nonnerie definitely belongs to the latter category. Its cuisine is rooted in tradition, but it doesn't stop there: it experiments, dares, and surprises. Each dish is carefully crafted, and even when it features unexpected combinations, you always sense a confident touch and authentic flavor. It's one of those rare places where you can confidently order blind, knowing that whatever comes your way will be excellent. It helps you step out of your comfort zone and experiment with things you wouldn't usually choose. The menu changes monthly, and that's one of the reasons I return regularly: every visit is a new experience. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, perfect for both couples and a family evening. The owner is a true host: kind, passionate, and always eager to share the story behind a dish or ingredient. It's my culinary refuge: a place that surprises without ever disappointing. P.S.: I'm looking forward to the return of the Bao sausage and broccoli rabe.

25/09/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant; both the pizza and my lasagna were delicious. For dessert, I chose the tiramisu, which was recommended either plain or with strawberries 🍓. I went with the plain version and was not disappointed. As a bonus, ADAC members receive a 10% discount.

09/11/2025: We've been here quite a few times and everything has always tasted great and arrived quickly. The pizza and pasta, as well as the orata and grilled sea bass, were all delicious!

08/11/2025: First time here, welcoming atmosphere, and perfect service. I tried the pizza as it was made until a few years ago (without the rubber-tire crust), and it was very good. I saw the first and second courses pass by, and they looked truly inviting. I'll definitely be back to try them.

02/11/2025: Restaurant in the center of Chioggia, in an alley. Good service. The dinner was excellent. The fried canoce were excellent. I give the atmosphere a three because it's not to my taste. And just my opinion: I wouldn't play background music.

08/11/2025: What a wonderful discovery with the gourmet pass! We opted for the tasting menu at €59 per person, and frankly, it was a delightful surprise, both visually and in terms of taste. This restaurant specializes exclusively in fish and shellfish. A true culinary orgasm that I highly recommend; we will definitely be back. Thank you for this enjoyable experience.

29/08/2025: A fishmonger's shop run by polite and helpful young people, the specialty of this business is that it arrives at 7:30 pm. The catch is very fresh and quite varied. The price is reasonable...the only complaint is that some of the larger, more valuable fish is diverted to the restaurant business.
