06/02/2025: We went to this restaurant last summer, seeing the positive reviews. We ordered a plate of pasta with clams, the quantity of clams was ok, but it tasted mostly of garlic and a grilled sea bass, nothing special. Oily baked potatoes, some cooked, some raw. Friendly waiters, but given the prices and quality of the food we won't be returning.

18/12/2024: We stayed at the campsite opposite and always got our pizza to go from Al Campiello. Called quickly, ordered, and by the time you walked over from the square the pizza was ready. Very tasty food at absolutely fair prices :)

14/10/2024: If you’re in Sicily and love shellfish, this restaurant and shop is a must-visit! Bruno welcomed us warmly and guided us through an incredible dining experience. Everything was all fresh and delicious. Bruno’s expertise and friendly service made our visit special. Plus, the shop has a great selection of fresh shellfish to take home. Highly recommend!

10/10/2024: Was visiting family for a couple of weeks and this was by far our favorite place to go for dinner. The food was outstanding, and the people were very friendly. Highly recommend.

06/11/2024: In addition to the fish to buy, even cleaned and filleted, they have recently added an adjoining room where you can eat some dishes such as spaghetti with seafood, mixed fried fish and tuna tartar

08/03/2025: I'm presenting it for a graduation party... Large place heated by stoves, bathroom in the other room. Normal food in the choice of dishes (actually very little) and in the presentation. Perhaps it comes alive in the summer as it is located along the left bank of the Versilia river I would say nothing exceptional and nothing to remember. In simple words they feed you…. Rating6.5/10

13/03/2025: Benito is always safe. The ambience isn't trendy, but when the food is good it doesn't matter. I enjoyed the paella (on reservation) and it was excellent.

06/03/2025: Excellent fish restaurant located outside the centre. Old time atmosphere. Impeccable service. I soon had risotto chartreuse which was exquisite. Cooked to perfection. I also had raw fish which was very fresh. I would use much less oil to season. To conclude I soon had green apple sorbet and delicious coffee. Advise

15/01/2025: After spending 5 days in Varazze, I met the waiters, husband and wife, on the day off of the restaurant where they work. So the next day I also took two of my friends to this restaurant. We ate mixed fried food and chips with a good white wine, I recommend it because the fried food was good and crunchy, not that greasy 👍. I'll be back.

03/01/2025: I was there for lunch on New Year's Eve... we ate excellent fish and the service was fast and attentive. They set a place at the table for my 9 month old son even though they knew he wouldn't eat... baby seat, fork and unbreakable glass. I had room to leave the stroller and also my other son's bicycle. What can I say. Perfect. The food was good and the welcome was excellent... it was already the second time but I will be happy to return.

02/02/2025: Excellent quality of cuisine and impeccable service. The dishes are served with great attention to detail and aesthetic taste. Highly recommended for lovers of raw fish, but also for those who aren't, the rich and creative menu amazes every palate!

26/01/2025: Il pesce è molto buono, gli abbinamenti sono particolari e originali. Mi sono piaciuti anche gli entrée, molto originale la pasta e fagioli con calamari servita nella tazzina da caffè. Il servizio è stato professionale, i camerieri molto attenti. L’atmosfera è piacevole e tranquilla. Buoni anche i dolci (in foto la ruota con i biscotti e il cioccolato fondente fuso che ha sorpreso tutti). Consigliato!

03/03/2025: It is an informal place, suitable for families, the placemat under the plate acts as a menu, but this should not be misleading. The dishes offered are mostly traditional and abundant, but cooked with skill, tasty and balanced. Whether it's meat or fish, you leave satisfied and not weighed down. If it weren't for the fact that the restaurant is really far from home, I would definitely go back.

16/02/2025: If you want to eat fish go somewhere else, in response to the owner I will take him to eat FISH 🐟 for what I paid from him. I took the first course (the most expensive 22 euros) it was literally disgusting..... You couldn't taste the fish and what's more there was cream, appetizer: 1 cappa santa 6 prawns 2 crostini cod and salmon 4 marinated anchovies with polenta (the bare minimum) 16 mussels (here they are called Peoci) cost 22 or 25 euros perhaps, (as I recall.) 1 fry (ok??!). You don't need to be a chef like Borghese to eat these things. Cost 80 euros. Remember that you can also buy reviews, there is an APP for that purpose. IT'S NOT MY CASE. Go and learn before you cook!!!!!!!!!

05/10/2024: Molto buono tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Come sempre le indicazioni di TripAdvisor non sbagliano. Locale molto carino e caratteristico. Menù con pochi piatti ma di qualità. Personale gentile, professionale e simpatico. Da provare.

04/01/2025: In una location suggestiva, una semplicissima friggitoria per il consumo al tavolo. Cibo buono e ben cucinato, alcune “chicche” della cucina locale, servizio cortese ed accogliente. Raccomandabile

30/12/2024: Take a half day off to come and eat here, grilled fish that has magically transformed into frying...paid as grilled however, bill not in line with what is written on the menu and receipt...seeeeeeee bye. Only those who were in the kitchen were saved because the food was good
