Recommended by a friend of mine who comes here often, I must say it's an excellent seafood restaurant. Fried anchovies, delicious. Delicious tuna tartare. Fresh fish. Excellent sorbets. If I pass through Ventimiglia, I'll definitely come for lunch or dinner. Service, excellent for quick service.

We dined on the evening of May 15th as a couple to celebrate an event. The atmosphere isn't as polished as others in Bordighera, but it's charming and authentic. We dined inside, and although the place was full, it wasn't rowdy, and the clientele was good. We ate fried anchovies with a creamy accompaniment, and for the main course, fried calamari and shrimp, along with stewed cuttlefish with artichokes. Everything was delicious, and I didn't suffer the slightest bit of heartburn at night (which I often experience at other places). The house sparkling wine was good, and the bread was fresh. The main course portions weren't generous (like most others), but they were definitely fresh and well-cooked. Considering the questionable quality of other restaurants in the area, we can't recommend Da Daniele enough. The waitress was very nice and kind, with a gentle soul, and made you feel at ease. Well done!
