03/03/2025: In my 15+ years of traveling to Italy, this was probably the worst tasting food I’ve eaten. The service was immaculate, the ambience was perfect, and the menu looked promising - but the flavours simply did not deliver. Agriturismos are meant to showcase local, seasonal, and fresh ingredients. Here, that promise fell flat, replaced by a meal that felt more like a poorly executed afterthought. It started with brioche topped with chicken liver, truffles, and figs, except it turned out to be fig jam. Maybe it wasn’t fig season, but I had checked before ordering. Worse, the brioche tasted stale, dulling what should have been a rich and indulgent bite. Then came a vegetable soup with egg, an uninspired bowl with no seasoning. Bruschetta arrived next, featuring watery, tasteless tomatoes, something I didn’t think was even possible in Tuscany. The duck breast was overcooked beyond redemption, tough and devoid of flavour. I never send dishes back, but this was an exception. And then, dessert, a cake soaked in cloyingly sweet syrup, weighed down by uninspired dollops of cream and a splash of raspberry jam that tasted straight out of a supermarket bottle. Not a single fresh berry in sight. I’ve had store-bought cakes with more depth of flavour than this. To be clear, this doesn’t reflect my opinion of Salvadonica as a hotel, which is a beautiful property, run exceptionally well, with professional and friendly staff. But they really need to do something about the kitchen.

Adoravo questo posto ma l'ultima esperienza è stata pessima. 1 ora e 15 minuti per ricevere la prima portata, ovvero un "tagliere" da 16 euro, che conteneva pochissimo affettato, 2 crostini insapori che dire piccoli è poco e una, ripeto UNA fetta di pecorino con una marmellata spalmata sopra (almeno mettila a parte). Primo completamente insapore. Prezzi folli, solo per rendere l'idea, 1lt di vino della casa in brocca 20€.

23/03/2025: I had the pleasure of stopping for a coffee. Excellent and good almond paste as an accompaniment. For lunch I went back and ate excellent Tuscan ravioli with a good ragù. Only suggestion: check the ragù better. I found a small piece of bone in the ragù, which fortunately did not cause me any problems. Average prices. As an addition given the response. I reported it to the waitress at the end of the pasta, giving visibility to what I found. At the time of payment I would have expected a commercial move to compensate for what happened, but this was not the case.

11/01/2025: Food so good had to leave a review! Our group loved it. Special shout to the rabbit pasta, cheesecake, vino and the Tuscan platter. Great service, menu available in Italian and English. Food so good we will circle back before leaving.

08/09/2024: Nos alojamos en Villa Petriolo por 6 noches en septiembre de 2024. No habíamos planeado ir al restaurante con estrella Michelin en el lugar, ya que generalmente evitamos los menús degustación y preferimos trattorias y osterías locales más casuales (como la excelente Osteria Golpaja, también en el lugar) , pero estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. Pudimos seleccionar platos a la carta de los dos menús degustación - uno vegetariano y otro mixto. Teníamos tres platos cada uno, un aperitivo, plato principal y postre de cada uno de los menús. Las opciones vegetarianas fueron las mejores, quizás no es de extrañar cuando todos los vinos y productos se cultivan en la finca sostenible en la que se encuentra el restaurante. El personal es apasionado por lo que ofrecen, pero sin pretensiones. La comida era divina, y el ambiente y el servicio en este restaurante en la Toscana rural eran iguales a cualquier cosa que hemos experimentado en Michelin - restaurantes con estrellas en todo el mundo. Muy recomendable.

29/03/2025: 4/5 stars, deserved. Very good starters and pizza. They make the pizza with a crust and I'm not crazy about it (personal taste) but the ingredients are quality. Excellent desserts. Service, nothing to complain about, polite staff, short wait. Nice environment. To return.

25/02/2025: I had lunch today for work in this delicious restaurant located inside the Four Seasons hotel. You can find it by accessing the entrance located in Borgo Pinti. Very nice location, bright, with comfortable tables and sofas. The staff is courteous and helpful, attentive when passing by the tables to fill the glasses and the service seemed quite fast. Varied menu with different meat and fish courses, including pasta, appetizers and desserts. The chicken club sandwiches are very tasty and I recommend them. High prices, keep that in mind. Some parking spaces on the street in Borgo Pinti, or reachable on foot. You can look for paid parking lots, garages, or other parking spaces in nearby streets.

13/03/2025: I had heard good things about it but it was disappointing. The staff was questionable. Almost annoyed. Risotto with some mussels that didn't taste good, and spaghetti with lupins, nothing special. I won't be back.

04/04/2025: A fixed stop restaurant for motorcyclists who go to ride in Mugello, a historic place full of photos of MotoGP champions and more... exceptional food, kind and friendly staff! A must go if you're in these parts!

17/03/2025: The atmosphere was really pleasant and welcoming, making the whole experience very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and provided great service. We had a Margherita pizza with spicy salami, it was super tasty! I’d definitely go back!

09/03/2025: Historic place, rooms of the ancient customs of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany transformed into a pleasant restaurant. Trained and very kind staff, excellent hospitality, an ideal place for those who love quality meat at reasonable prices. You park in front. I don't know about the rooms, I was at the restaurant.
