01/11/2025: First of all, the atmosphere and kindness of the owners and their family are really great! I was wondering what to eat for dinner on my first night in Florence, but I ended up going there and eating Cacio È Pepe, lampredotto, and Tagliata alle Scaglie di Parmigiano. They were absolutely delicious! They couldn't even compare to the pasta I had in Korea. So, we visited again the next day and had another pasta and Tagliata alle Scaglie di Parmigiano, and the food itself was just delicious! The chocolate whiskey(?) that they gave us after the meal was also really delicious! I will definitely come back here next time I visit Florence! Additionally, the 1/2 vino was cheap and delicious at 6 euros!

04/12/2025: Returning after a while, it's still an excellent trattoria, serving home-cooked food and traditional dishes. I especially recommend the peposo and the purée (made with potatoes). The atmosphere is family-friendly, where you can share a table and chat with complete strangers. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. It's not a tourist trap.

27/10/2025: A real discovery! We spent two wonderful evenings. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, always with a smile, by Maurizio Giuliana, the other lady (who didn't tell us her name but has an 18-year-old son), and the truly expert chef. Speaking of the food: everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. In particular, the Florentine steak is unforgettable. You can see the passion in every detail. Congratulations, we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Although you won't easily forget us for the pleasant confusion we shared, we made a promise to return and hope we will. 16/09/2025: This is maybe even the best restaurant i have ever been to. Quality is 10/10, food + desert the best around Florence. Truffle pasta, steak, peach desert and semifreddo have really been amazing and i really can't recommend this place enough. Super nice staff, location, vibe + you can buy really good wine for a great price. We will br bqck for sure 😍😍😍😍

29/07/2025: I called GLAM Catering to have my wedding re-celebrated at my house the next day. They're very well organized and can adapt to any situation. The dishes were all delicious, and if you want, they'll even provide dessert, freeing you from the hassle of having to find a pastry shop. I'd definitely call them again if I needed them again.

A rendere tutto ancora più speciale c’è Manlio, il gestore: accogliente, generoso, sempre pronto a raccontarti con passione ogni piatto e a farti sentire come un amico di vecchia data. Il menù è un inno alla cucina toscana: lo stracotto é morbido, saporito, cotto lentamente come vuole la tradizione. I pici al ragù’ sono un capolavoro, mentre la fiorentina è semplicemente perfetta: tenera, succosa e cotta alla perfezione. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, rigorosamente toscani, con proposte che esaltano ogni piatto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che onesto, considerando l’eccellenza dei prodotti e l’esperienza complessiva. L’ambiente è curato ma informale, perfetto per una cena tra amici, in famiglia o anche per un’occasione romantica. Il servizio è rapido, attento e sempre con il sorriso. Chi cerca la vera cucina fiorentina, con porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e un’accoglienza sincera, non può non passare da Il Giardino. Grazie Manlio, tornerò presto. E porterò rinforzi!

05/12/2025: This was our second visit to Saporium and probably will be our last. It was just an OK experience nothing really stand out or special about the food, staff or overall experience. Looking back I think when we dined here last year Ricardo was the reason we had such a great time. It's a shame he's not there anymore. Ricardo, you will be missed!

08/11/2025: We recently had the pleasure of dining at Saporium Firenze, and the entire experience was memorable from start to finish. Nestled in a refined and beautifully curated setting, the restaurant immediately stands out for its atmosphere – elegant yet warm, with an attention to design that sets the tone for what’s to come. The service was truly impeccable. From the welcome to the final goodbye, the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always professional, without ever being too formal. Every detail was carefully managed, making us feel genuinely looked after throughout the evening. We decided to go all in and try all three tasting menus – vegan, seafood, and meat – and it turned out to be a fantastic way to explore the full range of the chef’s creativity. The presentation of each course was visually stunning, with a clear focus on seasonality, balance, and technique. Most dishes were truly excellent – refined yet flavorful, innovative without being excessive. There were a couple of courses that felt a bit less convincing in terms of flavor combinations or impact, but these were rare exceptions in an otherwise impressive sequence. A special mention goes to the cocktail bar next door, owned by the same team. We highly recommend arriving a bit earlier and enjoying a pre-dinner drink there. The mixology is on point, the ambiance is sophisticated, and it sets the mood perfectly for the evening ahead. In summary, Saporium is a fine dining experience that lives up to expectations – thanks to the quality of the ingredients, the care put into each dish, the beautiful setting, and a staff that clearly takes pride in what they do. We had a wonderful evening and we’re happy to recommend it to anyone looking for something special in Florence.

02/12/2025: My wife and I have already been twice during our trip to Florence, and we loved the lasagnas, pizzas, and pastas! Plus, the view of the cathedral while you eat is fantastic! I highly recommend it!

09/11/2025: We were in Empoli for a weekend to visit our son. We wanted lunch and chose this place. It's a very nice place. The name suggests it was originally an old stable, which they converted into a restaurant, and they've done a great job. They have several rooms, including one that's especially suited to receptions. We were assigned a table in a very beautiful and welcoming room with a fireplace. It was comfortable. We placed our orders: appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The quality was excellent and the price was fair. The staff was friendly. They also have a large outdoor garden where you can eat outside in the warmer months, and they also host weddings. They also have parking. Overall, it's a very nice and welcoming restaurant, and the staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The quality of the ingredients is good, and the prices are reasonable. They also have gluten-free and lactose-free options. We'll definitely be returning.
