31/05/2025: Very nice hotel in a good location, where you can see Florence and the Duomo. Very good breakfast. A few kilometers in the car that you leave in a parking lot and from there you can reach Florence by tram. Very practical, economical, perfect. Very good value for money.

29/05/2025: The staff was great, breakfast was good. Cesar who helped us was friendly. (Give him a tip and he will call you Don ) lol A good place to stop to visit Florence specially when you’re driving through. Rooms were spacious old but classic “Italian Villa” or “the godfather” vibes of that’s what your looking for. Old church which is now a vineyard, it’s very quiet area and a lovely view of Florence. Perfect place to stay if you have a car and further away if you don’t want to deal with noisy streets inside the city.

18/05/2025: We booked lunch after a basketball game and there were 27 of us! Excellent and fast service. The tortelli with ragù were delicious, but the real surprise that everyone appreciated was the tagliatelle with mushrooms: FABULOUS! Generous quantities and fair price! Thank you so much! If we return to those parts we will definitely see each other again!

02/06/2025: Pizza was good, but service was horrible and our caprese salad came with the most unripe tomatoes ever. We also had to wait for a table despite having made reservations 🤨

01/06/2025: Pizza is aces. The burrata and the trupino (sp?) we're delightfully delicious. Pastas super tasty, cacio e pepe quite tasty. Great cocktail list (Negroni very good!) and the APA they have on tap is easy drinking, perfect with anything spicy, or just pizza in general!! Eating outside on the piazza is a nice experience. Wait staff all nice, helpful, and great with tips, and the back story of each dish. Def recommend!!!

01/06/2025: Beautiful surroundings in the green. Relaxed therefore. Delicious food. Service was very busy and therefore sometimes a bit slow. However, ambiance and food compensated for that. Service was very willing but too few manpower.

04/05/2025: Trattoria con un’atmosfera veramente magica, ottima musica di sottofondo e massima disponibilità da parte del proprietario. Prenotato con TheFork per provare, trattati benissimo. Cibo molto buono, consiglio vivamente i croccoli (strepitosi) ed il tiramisù con i cantucci (tutto fatto da loro, cantucci compresi), uno dei più buoni tiramisù mai mangiati in vita mia. Tempi di attesa nella media, servizio buono. Assolutamente da provare.

12/04/2025: Dogana is one of those places that I have always dreamed of in the Apennines. Run by three talented young people. Taste, Design, Super quality and hospitality. Stop for a gin and tonic, for dinner or just for a chat on the wonderful terrace.

30/03/2025: Characteristic Tuscan restaurant, immersed in the greenery of Chianti, here you can find quality and courtesy, you can eat both meat and fish and pizza (excellent) really fair prices!!! If you are looking for a place to rent for birthday parties or dinners come here that Giulia will be able to advise you top!!!

22/05/2025: A few steps from our hotel we found this restaurant pizzeria. Unusual setting, obtained from old stables with wonderful brick vaults. Kind and friendly staff. We opted for a fish menu: sautéed mussels, fusillo cacio pepe and raw shrimp, scialatielli with seafood and gnocchi with stracciatella and cherry tomatoes …..ALL EXCELLENT. The peppered pasta was a little too peppery :))) but otherwise really very good!

20/05/2025: What a wonderful experience, beautiful atmosphere and the staff was so helpful and fun. We all greatly enjoyed our pizzas, drinks, and tiramisu!!

30/04/2025: Beautiful location surrounded by greenery and with a bright veranda. Lots of free in person parking. The staff were courteous and professional. The cutting board was well stocked with good and special croutons and the two types of cheese, but not all the cold cuts were good. I was disappointed by the very thin and poorly seasoned pizza, no particular taste.

23/04/2025: Very disappointing restaurant. The ambience is appealing, but the food is simply bad. We travel a lot in Italy, including Tuscany. We've never had such a bad meal anywhere! Even the starter was a disappointment: fried balls with ham or salami - totally confusing. Tasteless and unimaginative. We both let the pasta go back. The pasta (Tagliatelle con Porcini) was overcooked and had no seasoning. The picci with tomato sauce tasted and looked like “alete”… a single porridge. What annoyed us most was the horrendous price of €80 and the fact that neither the waitress nor the manager of the house expressed any regret or even an apology. As a chef, I have to be surprised and react when two meals are completely returned!!!! Under no circumstances do we recommend this restaurant. Maybe the pizzas are better, but this restaurant consciously advertises on its website that they don't just specialize in pizza, but want to set themselves apart from the classic pizzeria with local spices and other dishes. Obviously self-promotion and definitely pure overconfidence. It would be advisable for the chef to take a cooking course! We definitely won't be coming back. After this outcome of the evening, we don't want to give the restaurant a second chance for the pizza.

18/05/2025: Sad to complain as I saw this place a few times before we walked in, as we are living nearby. It looks cute and authentic on the outside however the food was way below average and to be frank terrible. Stale bread which was cold and tasteless. The Tuscan vegetable soup was inedible- shocking considering how good and simple it can be, tasted more like a curry or dal. Gnocchi tomato sauce was below average. Worst part was the bad / rude / pretentious service by a person who looks like he’d rather chit chat with his friends (?) i don’t know seemed to be a set of locals who usually sit out front Best avoided, a strange experience for a pricey-ish meal.
