09/08/2025: Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to the quality of the food. The pizza is truly excellent, even the gluten-free one, perhaps among the best I've ever had. However, with gourmet pizza prices, an hour-long wait is hard to justify. I recommend the place for the excellent quality of the pizza and ingredients, but more attention should be paid to timing.

09/08/2025: Absolutely fantastic pizza. The dough is perfectly fermented and light, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. We ordered a couple of their “classic” combinations to go, but the menu also features some creative options… like an onion soup-inspired pie, or one topped with swordfish sashimi. The restaurant has a large outdoor seating area tucked behind a nondescript two-story house. Plenty of parking.

27/07/2025: Off the beaten path, but undoubtedly one of the best places in Florence. The place is beautiful and the food is excellent, with truly interesting options. The service is impeccable, and the prices are fair. The only drawback is that there's no outdoor seating. We go there often.

16/07/2025: This place is the real deal in Florence. Absolutely not a tourist trap. Amazing food of all sorts. We had pizzas, pastas, salad, desserts, and appetizers. Everything was wonderful. Even the desserts. We came back a second time in a week because it was so lovely. Absolutely visit if you're in Florence!

21/06/2025: La Trattoria Il Giardino è una vera istituzione a Firenze, un angolo di autenticità dove tradizione e calore si incontrano in ogni dettaglio. A rendere tutto ancora più speciale c’è Manlio, il gestore: accogliente, generoso, sempre pronto a raccontarti con passione ogni piatto e a farti sentire come un amico di vecchia data. Il menù è un inno alla cucina toscana: lo stracotto é morbido, saporito, cotto lentamente come vuole la tradizione. I pici al ragù’ sono un capolavoro, mentre la fiorentina è semplicemente perfetta: tenera, succosa e cotta alla perfezione. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, rigorosamente toscani, con proposte che esaltano ogni piatto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che onesto, considerando l’eccellenza dei prodotti e l’esperienza complessiva. L’ambiente è curato ma informale, perfetto per una cena tra amici, in famiglia o anche per un’occasione romantica. Il servizio è rapido, attento e sempre con il sorriso. Chi cerca la vera cucina fiorentina, con porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e un’accoglienza sincera, non può non passare da Il Giardino. Grazie Manlio, tornerò presto. E porterò rinforzi!

12/08/2025: I went with my husband and daughter; there's a spectacular children's room! The food was delicious. My daughter had fresh pasta, I had a pizza called Calabrisella (amazing), and my husband had a seafood appetizer that had a little bit of everything! Everything was delicious!!! I recommend it!!!

04/08/2025: We dined in the lovely internal garden. The place was welcoming and the staff were friendly. The quality/price ratio was competitive for Florence. I recommend the raw ham. Delicious! I'll be back to try other dishes.

22/07/2025: Espero mucho más al entrar. Soy de Canadá y he tenido mejores pizzas en casa! Estaba bien, pero me pareció que la masa era muy delgada + demasiado quemada. Sé que algo de carbón es bueno pero esto fue demasiado. Tampoco me impresionó demasiado el camarero. Parecía que tenía un día largo pero cuando le pedimos una mesa se volvió hacia nosotros... también le preguntamos si tenían hielo, dijo que no, luego procedió a dar la mesa de al lado nuestro hielo. Lo cual fue confuso. El dueño era un encanto. Me gustaba mucho. El camarero era rápido y parecía odiar su trabajo. En general un 3 / 5 probablemente más como un 2. 5 si eso fuera posible.

15/06/2025: Ci eravamo venuti più volte a cena e siamo stati sempre benissimo. La sala con il camino in inverno è qualcosa di magico. Così abbiamo deciso di festeggiare qua il battesimo di nostro figlio oggi. Il salone grande è stupendo . Prezzi ottimi e soprattutto cibo ottimo e servizio gentilissimo . Solo ieri ci han fatto il piacere di togliere 5 persone all'ultimo . Buonissimo il risotto agli asparagi,i tortelli burrata e pomodorini e tutto il resto . Ottimo il dolce. Staff gentilissimo. 30/05/2025: Great restaurant. I celebrated my birthday here and they reserved a room just for us. Super kind and super attentive staff, the water, wine and bread were replaced every time we needed them without having to call them ourselves. Very good and plentiful food. A beautiful memory of my 25 years.❤️

30/07/2025: BE CAREFUL!!!!! I felt ripped off. The meatball dish is 3 pieces and they charge you €10 + €2 cover = €12. They boast about good prices, but it's not true.

09/08/2025: The first time I ate here, the waiter asked me what I wanted to drink, and I said "tap water," but he charged me 2 euros. Tap water is usually free. The second time I came, I ordered a 13-euro pasta dish and a 330ml can of Coke. At the cashier, I discovered I had to pay 20 euros. This was the most expensive Coke I've ever had. Even after deducting the cover charge, it was still incredibly expensive. Really, really disappointing. This restaurant has opaque pricing, and I suspect it has separate menus for tourists and locals. Be very careful.

30/07/2025: OK for a budget stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the hotel is very noisy (loud children and dog play), and there's no elevator (luggage has to be carried upstairs). The pool is OK, but has seen better days. The staff is friendly, but extremely understaffed, which unfortunately affects the selection. At 9:30 a.m., there was nothing left for breakfast; everything was empty. According to the information for guests, breakfast is advertised until 10:00 a.m. There was also no staff present. After a long search, the waiter came and tried to manage breakfast for the remaining guests with the resources at his disposal. There is enormous potential, and something great could be done with the property. Management should hire more staff, so one employee can take care of the reception and another team member takes care of breakfast. One person can't do everything alone, even if they are very friendly and helpful. Hats off to the employee; unfortunately, it's not their fault; these are management errors.

29/07/2025: The location is beautiful, in the mountains, wonderfully quiet yet close to the highway. Wonderful surroundings. Views of Florence from the terrace! The pool (or small pool) leave much to be desired, as do the sunbeds! The food is fantastic! A major drawback: the staff (except for one woman) are not very cheerful, which is a real shame because it really leaves a mark!

26/07/2025: The food and wine were surprisingly good, though underrated. The pizza was truly delicious, as was the wine. The service was pleasant. Only locals were there, which speaks volumes. The atmosphere could be improved; the lighting was a bit harsh.

25/07/2025: Great value for money, nothing else to complain about, only the chairs need some work.
