25/09/2025: What an experience to be here. The ride towards the place is at first very rocky and shaky. But boy, the view and rooms make up for it. Havent seen such a great view, as at this place. The pool is great, service is wonderful and the restaurant services great breakfast and dinner.

14/10/2025: What a beautiful restaurant, unfortunately the service was horrible and the food was less than average. From the time we entered the restaurant until we left, we felt like we were a nuisance. The hostess was rude, the wait staff was inattentive, and the food was disappointing. After reading so many good reviews it was a very disappointing experience!

Truffle pasta, steak, peach desert and semifreddo have really been amazing and i really can't recommend this place enough. 09/09/2025: My husband and I just had the amazing pleasure of getting married at Castello del Trebbio with our wedding dinner at La Sosta del Gusto. Maurizio, the restaurant manager, is such a kind soul. Giuliana is a legend with the best energy. Sabrina was a delight. And the rest of their staff was a blessing. I looked forward to seeing them so much each day, and am so appreciative of the service that they provided. It was truly best in class. From the moment we met them during our trial, we were taken care of. In fact, Guiliana even helped entertain our niece so that my sister and her husband could enjoy their trial meal as well. The food during the weekend was impeccable – even better than I could have expected, from start to finish. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was elegant. I cannot compliment this team enough for their attention to detail and for truly helping make this weekend the most special experience for everyone. Again, if you are even reading reviews for this venue, you’ve found it. I will never forget the experience we had, but maybe more special to me are the people who helped bring it to life. I will never forget them and hope that I can see them all again one day. With immense gratitude, thank you for everything.

19/09/2025: Beat pizza I have had so far on my holiday in Italy. It was very delicious and the prices are very reasonable. My wife had a carbonara pasta and that too was excellent. Thanks to the lady running the store, she was very friendly and helpful and spoke to us in English. Highly recommend

29/07/2025: I called GLAM Catering to have my wedding re-celebrated at my house the next day. They're very well organized and can adapt to any situation. The dishes were all delicious, and if you want, they'll even provide dessert, freeing you from the hassle of having to find a pastry shop. I'd definitely call them again if I needed them again.

26/07/2025: I have to be brief because I would have to explain everything in detail, but I'll simplify it by saying they are a spectacular team. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and perfect, just like the previous tasting. Empathy and professionalism deserved top marks. The organization was perfect in every way. Highly recommended!!! Thank you guys ❤️

21/06/2025: La Trattoria Il Giardino è una vera istituzione a Firenze, un angolo di autenticità dove tradizione e calore si incontrano in ogni dettaglio. A rendere tutto ancora più speciale c’è Manlio, il gestore: accogliente, generoso, sempre pronto a raccontarti con passione ogni piatto e a farti sentire come un amico di vecchia data. Il menù è un inno alla cucina toscana: lo stracotto é morbido, saporito, cotto lentamente come vuole la tradizione. I pici al ragù’ sono un capolavoro, mentre la fiorentina è semplicemente perfetta: tenera, succosa e cotta alla perfezione. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, rigorosamente toscani, con proposte che esaltano ogni piatto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che onesto, considerando l’eccellenza dei prodotti e l’esperienza complessiva. L’ambiente è curato ma informale, perfetto per una cena tra amici, in famiglia o anche per un’occasione romantica. Il servizio è rapido, attento e sempre con il sorriso. Chi cerca la vera cucina fiorentina, con porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e un’accoglienza sincera, non può non passare da Il Giardino. Grazie Manlio, tornerò presto. E porterò rinforzi!

01/09/2025: Panful of paccheri pasta, labeled for two people; perhaps only one person could eat it; chicken with guacamole: a small portion, literally finished in two bites. Good, but portions need to be reconsidered.

18/10/2025: I tried the pistachio ice cream and the Earl Grey Emperlated Latte, it was a pure delight! So good that I went back twice!

18/10/2025: I was not at all satisfied with this ice cream shop. As soon as I entered, I was met by two servers—probably a mother and daughter—looking bored, unsmiling, and clearly uninterested. This alone shows that professionalism is lacking. My experience was negative from the start: the lady took the cone with her bare hands, the same ones she had just used to give change to another customer. She didn't just touch it, she actually handled it thoroughly. Then, only afterward, she took a small protective paper cone and put inside what she had already touched with her bare hands. The paradox is that that paper cone exists precisely to prevent the cone from being touched: doing so afterward makes no sense and completely defeats its hygienic function. I ordered dark chocolate ice cream, another disappointment: the color was too light, like hazelnut, and the flavor was flat, more like milk chocolate. The texture was also wrong, not creamy and lacking in character. Unfortunately, after eating it (and not having touched food all day), I felt severe intestinal discomfort in the hours that followed. I don't blame anyone, but it's hard not to connect the two, considering what I saw behind the counter. A disappointing and unreassuring experience. Definitely a place I'll never return to.

24/08/2025: Excellent location, very green and pleasant garden, excellent pizza and antipasti. You can choose from a simple pizza or a typical Tuscan lunch or dinner with genuine, local products. The night we went to Scuderie de l'Antinoro with friends, we had an appetizer and a pizza. Unfortunately, many customers that evening requested pizza (which is understandable because it was really good, with a decent crust, but not overpowering), so there was quite a wait. The waiter is the owner, but they offered us an extra beer and water, and then when paying the bill, they also offered us an amaro and even gave us a small discount. The gesture was greatly appreciated because it doesn't happen everywhere; it was truly a very welcome gesture! We'll definitely be back!

08/10/2025: My wife and I were on our honeymoon. We snuck into the pasta making class last second. It was truly fantastic from start to finish. Our "Nonna", Narghess, was amazing. From the moment I awkwardly stumbled down into to the restaurant to ask if it was too early to come in to the last bite of dessert and goodbye. She commanded the room with wisdom and compassion. We learned some history of Florence, the building we were in and its relation to the Renaissance as we prepared tiramisou, ravioli, and fettuccine. An unforgettable experience. 100%. Narghess was incredibly kind and supportive as we muscled our way through the itinerary. Fun, informative, and (most of all) tasty. We would highly recommend this activity for anyone. The restaurant itself has great atmosphere, history, and even better chefs!! We're from Maine in the US, but we met couples from Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands in the same class and by the end of the night we all felt like family. Wish I was going back tomorrow night <3
