23/03/2026: A very charming place with vintage furnishings that create a very beautiful and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff is knowledgeable and professional.
We stopped for breakfast and complimented the cream brioche, which was delicious and fresh.
Prices are average for Florence, perhaps even less than other places.
It's a place where you can also have lunch, with the in-house cuisine certainly of excellent quality.
If we were to return to Florence, it would be one of the places we would gladly return to.
Highly recommended

15/05/2026: This rooftop has a magnificent view of the Duomo and the rooftops of Florence. The drinks are well-made, and the restaurant menu offers quality dishes made with excellent ingredients. Special mention goes to Saturday night's pizza night! A fantastic idea for a simpler evening in a magical setting.

The dishes are plentiful, and you can tell they've paid attention to the ingredients and presentation.
The service is the only sore point.
Aside from the warm welcome from the maitre d', the other service staff seem a bit left to their own devices:
Little attention to the tables, lack of descriptions of the dishes, and we weren't even asked if we wanted coffee.
In short, with a little more organization, it would have been perfect.
The prices are moderately high, but justified by the beauty of the location.

01/10/2025: Two of us arrived without a reservation, but luckily there was a table available. The wait was two people, one very friendly, the other less so. The drinks came quickly, and we waited about 30 minutes for the appetizer. The pizza didn't arrive until about 90 minutes after the appetizer, which we really didn't expect, and our hunger grew accordingly. The pizza unfortunately had a bit too much cheese, but overall it was okay. Unfortunately, the wait was far too long, especially since the tables next door got their food much earlier.

05/05/2026: It wasn't my lucky night, let's say. I had a tuna tartare (average) and a pizza. As for the pizzas (mine and my friends'), we were disappointed by the length of the wait and because when they arrived, they were lukewarm and crumbly like biscuits. Bad.
22/04/2026: This restaurant is justly known by neighbors for superb seafood and fantastic pizza. Confirming that reputation, Bill and I had one fabulous meal here, then returned for a second .The servers treated us as if we were family; Esmeland and Pasquale recognized us immediately upon our second visit and were incredibly friendly and charming. They have a passion for this restaurant and giving excellent service. (Pasquale is the fourth generation in the restaurant business.) They remembered us after two days, despite having many visitors in between. The seafood is excellent and so is the pizza, often made with distinctive ingredients and flavors. Bravo!!

26/03/2026: A typical Tuscan restaurant right in the center of Montelupo Fiorentino. A top-notch atmosphere, a warm welcome, and excellent food, especially the mouth-watering Florentine steak! What more can I say? A place we'll definitely return to!

03/01/2026: We were told that some dishes were prepared by the chef of the Santa Elisabetta restaurant, which boasts two Michelin stars. I don't know if this is common practice or if we were just lucky. The service was excellent despite our limited Italian, and the decor and ambiance were lovely.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the flavors evoked emotions and memories.

20/05/2026: Extremely friendly staff. Andrew let us (2 e-bikers strolling around) charge our phone and treated us in an exemplar manner! The place was also lovely - great view, really clean, remote and quiet. Great for an escape :)
