05/10/2024: LOCATION voto 8: bel ristorante, ricavato da un edificio medievale e immerso nelle colline toscane. MENU voto 6: la cucina è più per gli stranieri e i piatti non soddisfanno le aspettative del posto. Come alternativa vegetariana ci sono state servite delle penne al pomodoro completamente scotte. SERVIZIO voto 7: più lenti che veloci. Personale gentile. CONTO voto 5: per i piatti proposti i prezzi sono alti.

20/09/2024: The setting is incredible—a very short drive from Firenze and feels like another world entirely. The service was impeccable and the food was the best we’ve had on our vacation. This is everything I was hoping for and more—a perfect night.

05/04/2025: Here you order a 4 cheese pizza and they bring you a margarita and they are so fresh. Don't go to eat around 2:30 p.m. (only having a table of 2) because they prefer people to go to eat much earlier and at that time they are in a hurry..... The waiter was professional but very unpleasant. I don't recommend it

02/04/2025: We were very tired from the walks, but here we found very good service and great food. The waitress was very nice and smiling. The child eats pizza and it was great. We ordered risotto and spaghetti. I know how to cook Italian food at home and very well, but here the chef made sure to surprise us with flavors and new things for us. At the beginning we ordered antipasta, and the restaurant gave us a bowl of bread. Great bruschetta with tomatoes and traditional salami and cheese. The restaurant is worth it and if I pass by there again we will try the other delicacies.

22/12/2024: Raccontare l'allestimento natalizio del Four Season è impossibile...bisogna viverlo e sperimentarlo di persona. Ogni angolo è pura magia, ogni dettaglio è curato alla perfezione, tutto è emozionante, l'atmosfera è unica e nonostante la prestigiosità del luogo la sensazione che si avverte è di piacevole e rilassante informalità anche grazie alla calorosa accoglienza di ogni singola persona. I nuovi cocktails dicembre 2024 sorprendenti, chianina burger eccellente, patate irraccontabili, invece club sandwich di pollo non gradito particolarmente (mancante di lattuga fresca e croccante e di maionese, anche se ne è prevista una piccola quantità singola a parte); le salse servite in confezione mono uso non le ho ritenute adatte. Ottimi i contorni durante l'aperitivo e i dolcetti alla fine della serata. Nel complesso è stata una serata memorabile, anche se l'abbinata bevande/cibo è stata un po' troppo a base di ingredienti "affumicati".

The efforts in providing a good service are appreciated but more people as staff and more attention to detail are needed. There is no elevator and the rooms are very sparse. 30/03/2025: We just stayed here for two nights. The villa and estate are impressive for the views and incredible presence on the hill side. Service is lovely and we felt special and welcome. Shyam in the restaurant was very kind to us, and our two dachshunds were even spoilt with a slice of prosciutto from the manager. The property is moderately priced, and the vibe is unpretentious and fairly casual. Our dogs loved running around the grounds. The rooms have had a facelift, and there are aspects of the property which are a bit dated which only lends to the charm and quirkiness. We had dinner - my partner the liver on crostini and the sausages with veg, I had a lovely pasta with tomato and guanciale. Upon departure I received a proper Italian goodbye with two kisses and an embrace. This place is perfect for an unassuming and casual home away from home escape, overlooking the city of Florence.

08/02/2025: La gentilezza dei proprietari ci ha assolutamente conquistato, i piatti erano tutti ottimi dall'antipasto al dolce. Consigliatissimo! Ci torneremo sicuramente!

05/10/2024: Non è la prima volta che veniamo in questo delizioso ristorante, una certezza! L'ambiente è molto curato, il servizio impeccabile e ti riempiono di premure (ad esempio offrendoti un calice di prosecco e una schiacciata all'olio calda per ingannare l'attesa), il menù è sempre diverso, sia di pesce che di carne. Quello che apprezziamo particolarmente è la riscoperta di sapori tradizionali che non si trovano facilmente. Noi ad esempio abbiamo optato per uno squisito sformato di gobbi (o cardi), per un antipasto toscano con degli affettati squisiti, tagliolini ai funghi e ziti con polpettine, pomodoro e provola. A seguire degli ottimi involtini di asparagi e pecorino con contorno di patate arrosto e funghi!!! Per finire un ottimo tiramisù e una schiacciata con l'uva. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

07/01/2025: This is a local wine bar! I had seafood pasta and seafood fries. The amount of fried seafood is larger than expected, so for those who just want to enjoy a glass of wine, just drinking wine with the fries is enough. Basically, Italian food is a bit salty, but if you eat it with some consideration, it becomes a good meal. The seafood pasta was also really good, but there were some parts that were a little underdone… :) Even though I went there feeling a little sore, it was great. I want to visit again in good condition^^

02/01/2025: A flawless New Year’s Eve dinner! The service is exceptional, the dishes creative and off the beaten track, a real gem! Rare to find such a fine fish restaurant in such a touristy town! We will go back!

30/03/2025: Characteristic Tuscan restaurant, immersed in the greenery of Chianti, here you can find quality and courtesy, you can eat both meat and fish and pizza (excellent) really fair prices!!! If you are looking for a place to rent for birthday parties or dinners come here that Giulia will be able to advise you top!!!

19/03/2025: What an excellent place, we didn’t have reservation but the staff treated us kindly. Veronica's attention was exceptional, she suggested us good options to order with her perfect spanish speaking. We ordered for dinner pizza Margherita, Quattro Formaggi, Napoli D.O.P and Parmigiana, also we ordered a succulent mare soup with a frizzy wine. Me and my friends are definately satisfied with our dinner in Orto del Cigno! Thanks for the hospitality!

16/03/2025: A pleasant tavern-style venue with large windows along the Arno. Garden with tables outside for good weather. Varied menu: burgers, appetizers to share and pizzoni for 2 people even in multiple flavors. Large selection of beers and wines. Quick and courteous service.

09/03/2025: Typical Trattoria, with real Tuscan/Florentine cuisine.... finally!! Simple but particular dishes, generous portions and prices completely in line. Very nice and non-invasive waiter, I will definitely go back

11/03/2025: Given that I am not a lover of Neapolitan pizza (de gustibus), I really liked the pizza here. I was expecting the usual slightly chewy thing, but instead I was surprised by a very chewy dough with an excellent flavor even in the crust. In short, tasty pizza and above all very digestible, which did not weigh us down at all. The zeppole are delicious! Good service, helpful and kind and a very relaxed atmosphere with (Neapolitan) music that doesn't slip into the conversation but really does what it's supposed to do: in the background. Well done.
