25/05/2025: Very nice terrace with a pleasant view. The lady at the reception was very polite, but we waited 20 minutes before we were served (after I asked). Otherwise - good drinks & a nice atmosphere.

09/04/2025: this restaurant was recommended to us by our airbnb host, and we’re very glad we went! the parking can be a little tricky but the lady working there graciously moved her car so we could park in front of the restaurant. the service was wonderful and she brought us aperitivo on the house! the food was very good and the desserts were amazing. after dinner she even brought us limoncello without us asking. it was very quiet in the restaurant which was unfortunate as it was very good, but it’s probably busier in the summer. the prices were very reasonable as well. if you find yourself in montespertoli or area i suggest you choose this restaurant for your dinner :)

26/05/2025: Very disappointing restaurant. Very high prices. A hamburger for 22.50 euros with cold cheese, 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice of eggplant, no sauce, and very few fries, burnt and cold. And be careful, you have to put the sauce on the burger yourself; they bring you a bottle of ketchup and mayonnaise from Lidl🤣. The pizzas aren't good, frozen! Roasted potatoes, lol, 1 small boiled potato cut into quarters. Total 99 euros with a bottle of water for 6.50. 2 burgers, 2 pizzas, and 1 bottle of water for 99 euros.🤣. What can I say about the service? Waiters with microphones like security guards🤣 who don't smile, and to pay, move your hands, no one comes towards you, you have to go to the cashier, and there's no smile. When I see all the negative comments, I don't understand why nothing has changed. We've been to other restaurants with beautiful views and so much better. A disgrace! Run away.

08/06/2025: There was plenty of space in this restaurant located in the heart of Florence, which is really convenient for lunch. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The pasta was cooked perfectly, but I found my spaghetti carbonara to be way too salty; it's a shame to ruin such a simple dish by adding too much salt.

It's not a starred place or for a romantic dinner but a place that pays attention to the substance and offers interesting Sardinian and Tuscan cuisine, honest prices... 28/05/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and authentic flavors We went to Vecchio Carlino for dinner and we were really impressed. The atmosphere is very welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff was very kind and made us feel at ease right away. We ordered a pizza and… what can I say? Exceptional! Light dough, perfect cooking and high-quality ingredients. A restaurant that combines tradition and quality with simplicity. We will definitely be back!
