25/02/2025: I had lunch today for work in this delicious restaurant located inside the Four Seasons hotel. You can find it by accessing the entrance located in Borgo Pinti. Very nice location, bright, with comfortable tables and sofas. The staff is courteous and helpful, attentive when passing by the tables to fill the glasses and the service seemed quite fast. Varied menu with different meat and fish courses, including pasta, appetizers and desserts. The chicken club sandwiches are very tasty and I recommend them. High prices, keep that in mind. Some parking spaces on the street in Borgo Pinti, or reachable on foot. You can look for paid parking lots, garages, or other parking spaces in nearby streets.

30/05/2025: Esperienza piacevolissima! Abbiamo mangiato in terrazza dove ci siamo goduti anche una bella vista sulla campagna del Chianti. Locale molto accogliente e curato, pizza molto buona ed il personale é stato gentile e attento. Da ripetere!

26/05/2025: The location is very very beautiful, unfortunately having called 1 day before we managed to find a place but unfortunately not outside. Quality ingredients and really good. The pizza was good, if I have to make some clarifications I would say that in my opinion the artichoke did not feel the presence and taste of artichokes so even though it was good it was a bit unknown. The Campagna Viva was my favorite, very good but even here if I have to make a clarification the nduja could not be felt at all and it almost seemed like just tomato drops. The Norma was good, I asked the waitress if I could do half without the grated sheep cheese at the end and she said no.. it did not seem very elegant or an impossible request. Another clarification as soon as we finished dinner the waiters came IMMEDIATELY after 1 minute to take away our plates. I do not think it is seen well by the customer because it sends the message of "wanting to get him up from the table immediately". Overall a very quiet place and it was a pleasant evening!

The property offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside — truly picture-perfect and peaceful. The rooms have a charming, old-world character that adds to the authentic experience. They are tastefully furnished in a classic style, which enhances the historic ambiance of the estate. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, offering warm and attentive service that made us feel genuinely welcome. Breakfast was decent, though there is some room for improvement — particularly in the selection of bread and cheeses, which could be more varied and fresh to match the high standards set by the rest of the experience. Overall, Palagina is a beautiful retreat with character, excellent service, and unbeatable views. We would happily return.

20/05/2025: La Palagina: a gem in the heart of the Florentine countryside I stayed at La Palagina for a couple of days during a business trip and I was truly impressed. Immersed in the most authentic greenery of the Florentine hills, the structure offers a unique, relaxing and incredibly evocative atmosphere. A true corner of paradise. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest details: the rooms, the common areas, the swimming pool... but above all the cuisine, which deserves a special mention for its quality and presentation. The service is impeccable and the staff stands out for their courtesy and helpfulness. You really feel welcomed. The only negative note concerns the acoustics of the internal room: due to a large window, the noise level is such that even a simple conversation between diners is difficult. It is a detail that, if improved, could really make a difference in the overall experience. Overall, however, the experience was more than positive and I highly recommend La Palagina to those looking for relaxation, beauty and good food in an authentic Tuscan context. I hope to return soon

22/04/2025: first time in this restaurant, years ago it was a grocery store. honestly I will come back here, the waiting staff who I think was also one of the owners were extremely kind. the menu clearly based on meat and of excellent quality! I decided to try the spaghetti with sausage and puntarelle, and then the fried lamb with artichokes. my daughter started with the prosciutto crudo, and from the first taste it was clearly a handmade and quality product, and then pasta with butter. my wife opted for the artichoke flan and then pappardelle with duck ragù!

28/05/2025: Unfriendly waiter who made us feel very uncomfortable, despite our smiles. The visuals of the dishes were pathetic; the quality was mediocre. When it comes to the bill, be sure whether to pay with cash or with a card. If you are unsure, you will be considered a bum.

20/05/2025: Amazing food, friendly staff, local feel and excellent value. What’s not to like! Recommend the Tuscan stew and roasted potatoes.

29/04/2025: If you order a starter the waiter makes everything in front of you and it’s a very nice show. For the main dish I ordered filet steak and it was very delicious the potatoes with BBQ were amazing and the steak melted in your mouth. We were here on the vacation and if you are near its a absolutely good experience!

04/05/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, among the Chianti hills. Impeccable service, lovely environment with lots of references to cats. Excellent dishes, I don't give my best only for the temperature of the cut which was not optimal but in a mixed grill it can happen. Excellent wine map!

23/04/2025: horrible to go, is my last time in italy and i ordered a risotto at 12 because my flight leaves at 2 and i expected to get it between 12:30 or 1:00, the restaurant didn’t pick the order up, the driver didn’t either and then it took like 2 whole hours to cook, the risotto looked really good and i was very excited but i couldn’t even try it, i hadn’t eaten all day waiting for this, so disappointing, i was hours without eating because the food didn’t come, horrible delivery service, wish they picked that order quicker.

20/05/2025: Authentic, delicious, very happy we stopped here. Thank you to Bangarang for being so rude that we left and found this place instead. Much better food and hospitality. Baked goat cheese was amazing, explosive flavor. Please try this! Pici with beef ragu was the best pasta dish we had in the last week in Tuscany. The steak we shared was absolutely delicious. One of the most tender, and flavorful steaks we had in Tuscany as well.
