14/04/2026: The restaurant was absolutely beautiful but we couldn’t get over the quality of the service. We were greeted by a nice man, but after the initial greeting the service we received was abysmal. We were thrown by the sight of our waitress sneezing straight into her palm multiple times, and immediately handling food without washing her hands. We were nothing but kind to the staff but in return we were met with undkindness. We couldn’t finish our requests before the waiter dismissed us, and as we were requesting for the bill, the waiter visibly rolled his eyes and huffed. There wasn’t even a rush. We hope that in the future the service’s quality would be better, since the restaurant experience would’ve been good otherwise.

09/04/2026: Nerone is a place with a unique soul. The decor is unique and creates a magical, unconventional atmosphere. The food is exceptionally good, both the cuisine and the pizza, and the value is fair. I'm holding back five stars only because of a few minor flaws in the service and attention to detail, but it's still a highly recommended place for anyone looking for a different kind of evening. A truly worthwhile experience!

03/04/2026: These pizzas were recommended to us, and without a doubt, and without exaggeration, they were the best pizza I've ever eaten. Everything was incredible: the dough, the toppings, the texture. I'll definitely always remember it, and if I ever go back to Florence, I wouldn't miss it for anything. 100% recommended.

03/03/2026: Beautiful atmosphere with lighting. Service was excellent and we had much attention from our server and assistants. . The food was excellent . The restaurant sent us an appertivo platter gratis with multiple small bites- bruschetta, liver pate etc all delicious.

24/12/2025: I returned after many years. The owners have changed, but they're very kind and made me feel welcome. The pizza is always good. The only flaw is the location, located outside in a gazebo facing the market square but heated by small heaters. I ate the pizza quickly because I was freezing. I'd better come back in spring next time.

29/03/2026: The place overlooking the cathedral is beautiful, but they don't close their doors even in winter, so breakfast was a good idea, even with a jacket on. Three cappuccinos and three croissants for €27...we definitely paid for the cathedral's restoration!

27/03/2026: At Brunelleschi Bistrot the food was excellent, wine and grappa also bring the Italian flavour very well together. Staff friendly and welcoming. Prices are decent and the view of Duomo make the italian atmosphere the most memorable. Highly recommend 👌

15/12/2025: We discovered this place in 2023 during our first visit of Firenze and we simply knew that we have to come back. So we did and it was the perfect last evening of our trip. Everything simple yet sophisticated. Amazing sea food and fish, great wine and the service are making this place unforgettable and we are looking forward to our 3rd visit soon!

28/04/2026: I wouldn't go back. Let's start with the drinks. We ordered a glass of house wine, but they brought us a whole bottle to pour ourselves. I could barely finish a glass; it was truly awful. My father ordered beef with potatoes, which was very good. I ordered lasagna; the pasta was okay, but it had practically no filling or sauce. Then we ordered baked pear, which was fine. The bread was stale, with a hard crust but a decent crumb, so I left the complimentary slice. The shared table thing seemed charming, pleasant, and fun—just what you'd expect from a fairground canteen.

28/04/2026: Local, rustic food. Portions are relatively small, and with side dishes and/or extras, prices quickly reach restaurant levels, albeit with a market hall atmosphere. Formerly a budget-friendly hidden gem, it's now overpriced and the quality no longer justifies the price.

07/06/2026: While the food was good, there was a noticeable change in previously friendly demeanour and behaviour from the proprietors when I gave my order. It’s quite strange when minorities discriminate against each other.

02/05/2026: What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was, very close to the Hotel Atlântic, and it was the best experience in Florence, the best pizza, the best truffle gnocchi, fair price, average pizza €10.00, pasta dishes between €14.00 and €17.00… unforgettable.

03/05/2026: Delicious and creative food, in a wonderful building and atmosphere. The food was very tasty, super creative (a lot !) and mixes very distinct flavours in ways I hadn’t experienced before. I believe this restaurant should soon obtain a Michelin star. As a constructive comment, I would say that sometimes even if the food is great, some of the flavours are soooo intense, that they become overwhelming. Those intense flavours are great, but I think that if you tune them down just by 10%, they will still keep their flavourful spirit without overwhelming the person. Also, although the waitress and personnel where all great and very friendly, some details on how they serve and the speed between plates can be improved. All in all, the restaurant is excellent and I’ll definitely be back.

08/04/2026: The food was amazing, especially the “I Pici All’ aglione” (best pasta we’ve ever eaten!). The prices were good, approx 10-11 for the pasta we ordered. The staff was kind and welcoming. Only problem was that there was a cover charge even though no bread was served (2€ per person). But overall great experience!
