23/05/2025: Disappointed visit after recommended from another person. No atmosphere or background music. Extensive menu, but my husband had finished half of his pizza before I got my pasta. We both had coffee after, and both were only lukewarm.

12/06/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Double Delight at Trattoria Il Bargello We dined at Il Bargello two nights in a row — and honestly, we’d go again tomorrow if we could. The first night, we had the most beautifully cooked Fiorentina steak, paired with a fresh, zesty salad and the dreamiest deep-fried artichokes — crisp, golden perfection. All gloriously washed down with a Brunello di Montalcino, of course. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and full of charm — the kind that makes you feel like a regular. And so we returned the very next night — and wow, it got even better. The chicken liver pâté was rich and velvety, the veal cheek fell apart with a whisper, nestled beside silky mashed potatoes you’d write home about. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù? Rustic heaven. Another bottle of Brunello (naturally), and we were in Tuscan bliss. Authentic, heartfelt cooking with impeccable wine, in a setting that feels both elegant and familiar. Grazie mille — we’ll be dreaming of this place long after we’ve left Florence.

08/06/2025: Our AirBnB host recommended this place on our first night in Florence and we loved it so much we went back for our last night. It’s a small trattoria located down a quiet ally all by itself. The wait staff is great, and with its red checkered table cloths and cosy atmosphere it’s felt like that Italian restaurant in Lady and the Tramp. We got the Fried bread coccoli with ham and stracchino soft cheese which is traditional to this area. The Angus carpaccio, and probably my favorite the Burrata cheese with shaved truffle. The main course was of course the Florentine T-bone steak which was cooked perfectly we went with 1.2kg for 3 people. Then desert was Sicilian cannoli, a very good Tiramisù but the star of the desert course was the Panna cotta. We watch a lot of Top Chef and I now know (just like Tom Colicchio) what a good Panna cotta should look and taste like, it was delicious. It was the most expensive place we ate in Florence but it was worth it (twice!). Or favorite place to eat in Firenze.

01/06/2025: Ci rechiamo in questo locale con anticipo,gentilmente ci fanno accomodare comunque,subito si capisce la gentilezza e la Disponibilità dei proprietari!!Cibo top con 10 antipasti uno più particolare dell altro e di gran qualità !!3 assaggi di primi deliziosi ,il secondo non ci stava e un misto di dolcetti fatti da loro e bevande comprese!!!anche se a menù fisso e non avendo avvisato che avevamo due bambini,si sono prodigati x un menù diverso x loro!!!Adesso abbiamo capito i tempi di attesa x la prenotazione(anche di un anno!!)grazie ancora!

I loved every aspect: the excellent food, with attention to detail and full of flavor; the attention to the customer, always present but never intrusive; and the warm and welcoming environment, which makes you feel immediately at ease. It is a place where you can clearly perceive passion, professionalism and care. I can't wait to return!

19/05/2025: I went to Lucca with my daughter, we found it by chance but we fell in love with it, a nice place, super good food with special dishes and for this reason I recommend it, not the usual tourist menu but special and interesting things. I highly recommend it and I will definitely go back very soon with friends

20/05/2025: The beef fillet with roasted potatoes and the sirloin steak with pecorino cream and truffle were both outstanding! Even the fried zucchini was surprisingly delicious. The waitress was incredibly sweet—she offered me a complimentary digestif and helped pack up my leftovers. A top-notch place I wholeheartedly recommend!

18/05/2025: It’s in a small town near Siena. The pizza here is incredibly good. They are famous for their pizza and desserts. Their main customers are locals. So definitely this place is a gem
