15/03/2025: Después de un largo día de viaje tomamos una recomendación para cenar en Osteria del Sole y chico ¡estuvimos agradecidos! Esta fue nuestra primera noche en Italia y tenía el tradicional filete florentino en nuestras mentes. Dos de nosotros pedimos esto, pero los cuatro tuvimos al menos un sabor. Por mucho fue el mejor filete florentino que probamos durante nuestros 8 días en la Toscana. También tuvimos los ravioles de alcachofa que estaba delicioso. El menú tiene muchas selecciones, la carta de vinos está seguro de complacer a todos y el servicio fue excelente. Recomiendo encarecidamente este acogedor, encantador y delicioso restaurante!

11/03/2025: The food was magnificent, the Steak Florentine was large and had a nice crisp, tasted aged a bit and a nice thick cut. The prices were all great. The service was slow, expect to spend a lot of time at dinner if you have a larger group. Otherwise beyond happy

Metal retro billboard hanging on the wall, It creates a strong nostalgic atmosphere, as if taking people back to the past. The white tablecloth, simple lines of tables and chairs and exquisite lamps, It injects modernity and high-end texture into the space. Retro and modern blend together, creating warmth without losing style. The menu offers two set meal options, one meat and one vegetarian. To meet the needs of different tastes, you can also order a la carte. Scatter portions are relatively larger. For a foodie like me who wants to try everything, Of course I chose the set meal without hesitation. Unlocking multiple delicacies at once is so enjoyable! Every dish is surprising, the taste is online, Both the combination of ingredients and the presentation are done with great care.

07/04/2025: My husband and I were in the area and we decided to enter the restaurant impressed by the traditional setting. Very well prepared and abundant traditional dishes. Fantastic apple dessert. The owner was very kind and even gave us directions on places to visit in Mugello

22/03/2025: Elegant environment, refined food, attentive and smiling staff. Pampering and tastings that are beautiful to see and taste. All very special. Homemade bread, focaccia and breadsticks. Some foods served on stone sculptures instead of plates. I took a Catalan, seasoned to my liking with their oil and lemon juice. They have a book for the wine list, I got some advice. For a particular or special lunch or dinner or just to pamper yourself and eat in an elegant but quiet place, where you feel good. To finish with a coffee and pastries.

19/03/2025: Traditional trattoria with friendly service and an old-fashioned atmosphere. The prices are fair. For two, we spent €71 eating two appetizers (artichokes with fossa cheese and mixed Tuscan appetizer), a first course (acquacotta), a second course (stuffed rabbit with potatoes), a dessert (cantucci and vinsanto), drinking a quarter of red wine and a bottle of water. Special mention for the homemade bread. The food was really good, except for the potatoes that I thought were too fried with an excessive taste of fried oil. We will return tomorrow because we appreciated it so much.

23/03/2025: It is one of our favorite places to eat steak. Another fantastic thing is the meat tartare that they prepare before your eyes and add the ingredients you want. A place that stays cool in the summer. Easy to reach or a little higher up than the town of Montecatini Terme. If you want to eat good meat, this is the right place.

16/02/2025: On a business trip, boring evening, I take a small detour into nature and find this place with an online search. I discover a welcoming environment, warm service, it's pleasant to have a chat when you're alone, and excellent Tuscan cuisine. Correct prices

02/03/2025: A group of 16 people, between adults and teenagers, we arrived at this tavern by chance (we thought we were going to eat a sandwich). We loved it, excellent Lucca tordelli, wide choice of vegetarian dishes, fast and friendly service. Excellent 👌

28/02/2025: Suggested by a local friend as one of the last places to appreciate the true Tuscan cuisine of the past, it is located on the border between Florence and Siena. Very well-kept place, impeccable cuisine and service; targeted and well-stocked menu. As a welcome entree offered by the house, fried anchovies accompanied by sweet and sour red onions and pine nuts very tasty. For first courses we chose pici all'aglione and ribollita both of excellent workmanship, accompanied by two glasses of strictly local wine. For second course I opted for a plate of mixed Tuscan cold cuts. Classic desserts, I recommend the apple pie! Amaro at the end of the meal kindly offered by the owners. The portions are nice and generous!! Average cost for good cuisine.

17/02/2025: Questo posto è eccellente a dire poco: invitante da subito all'entrata con tavoli confortevoli e piacevolmente arredati. Il menu è spettacolare e la cantina da enoteca con un'infinita scelta di vini di tutte le regioni. La pasta e la carne che abbiamo assaggiato è stata una meraviglia. Personale accorto ed attento a tutte le nostre esigenze comprensivo del nostro amico a 4 zampe (animali ammessi con ciotolina per l'acqua). Che dire...ritorneremo sicuramente. Questo locale merita tutte le cinque stelle e i dieci punti della classifica.

13/04/2025: A Magical Lunch We’ll Never Forget Our lunch at Osteria Volpaia was nothing short of unforgettable. Sharing this experience with my wife in such a beautiful setting made it even more special. The food was outstanding — the risotto and the artichoke were simply out of this world, full of depth and character. What truly elevated the meal was the warmth and authenticity of the people behind it. The chef and the host are not just incredibly skilled — they’re amazing, genuine individuals who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This was one of those rare experiences that stays with you. I recommend this place 100%. If you’re near Volpaia, don’t even think twice — just go.

01/04/2025: All very good. Compliments to the waiter on duty, attentive and elegant. Prices a little high. "Too rushed" atmosphere as far as I'm concerned in such an environment. But is it a tavern????

13/04/2025: We had gnoccette game and pepper + truffle, pici+guanciale+pear and pici+tomate+burrata. And desserts: pistachio cheese cake and crumble cantucci+vanilla cream+red berries. Food and service was fantastic!!
