We booked a table for five for dinner. The restaurant was welcoming and clean. Two kind and smiling young women welcomed us, along with the equally kind owner, who helped us choose our dishes. Among other things, we enjoyed fettuccine with truffles, tortellicci with ricotta, Florentine meatballs, and peposo all'imprunetina, all of which were amazing. You could sense the care and love for their work. Super!

I came here thanks to the recommendation of my hotel owner, who had raved about this wonderful family-run trattoria, open since 1971. Once I arrived, I immediately understood the reason for his enthusiasm: it truly is a hidden gem. The restaurant isn't very large, but that's precisely what makes it so special and welcoming. It offers both outdoor and indoor seating: you can choose whether to spend a pleasant evening immersed in the lively neighborhood atmosphere, under the velvety blue Florentine sky, or enjoy a more intimate and cozy interior, reminiscent of an ancient cellar where you can enjoy a fine glass of wine in peace. I must say that every dish we ordered was delicious. The pici al ragù was exceptional, and I particularly enjoyed the pappa al pomodoro, one of the most traditional soups in Florentine cuisine, rich in flavor and authenticity. We also tried the braised beef and the Florentine steak: everything was prepared with great care and of excellent quality. There were seven of us, and all my friends, who came from China, were more than satisfied. Everyone left the restaurant with a smile. A special thanks goes to Stefano, Francesca, Massimo, and the entire team, who did an extraordinary job and made us feel at home, even though we were far from home. Their welcome was sincere, warm, and always attentive. In a city like Florence, where many restaurants are primarily geared toward tourism, it's not easy to find a place that offers authentic Florentine cuisine, such genuine hospitality, and still fair prices. We found all of this here. We will definitely return on our next visit to Florence. Thank you again for everything, and especially for helping me retrieve the items I'd forgotten at the restaurant. It was a gesture of great kindness that made our experience even more special and unforgettable.

Probably one of the best trattorias in Firenze. Local specialities, no low quality "turistic menus" as one may find in town, very friendly staff and always Delizioso ! One of the nicest place you can find for a typical dinner. Highly recommanded.

Had some truly amazing peposo there with marinated vegetables that were well assorted with the meat. The tiramisu had a nice touch with crunchy chocolate chips and made me rethink how good I thought my own was 😂, but luckily I was given some tips to better myself 😀. Overall great experience.

I had a very good meal two days in a row. Excellent food and very friendly staff. The price was significantly lower than other places I've tried in the area. I recommend it.

Dinner with the family. The location is pleasant, the service is very good. My daughter and wife were very happy with their dishes, but I didn't like mine. Obviously, it's a matter of personal preference.

Must get any steak dish here absolutely amazing and tender, soft meat. The Aperol spritz here was great as well. The atmosphere is quite cozy and welcoming, matching the welcoming and kind staff and service we received. Best prices for dinner in Florence!
