14/07/2025: Great place for lunch and dinner. Family atmosphere and great service. Every dish ordered is very tasty and looks great. I definitely recommend it! It is worth making reservations for the weekend evening, because the room is usually full. Very good wines.

06/07/2025: We came from hungary. i've eat my very first true italian pizza here. It was truly amazing, delightful and delicious, best (and only ever true italian pizza so far) i've ever eaten. White house wine also very nice. Staff is amazing and very friendly. The prices were also better than good, for an average european traveller, this was actually insane, how not expensive that was compared to other regions restaurants. Truly recommend this place.

Everything was superb, from the quiet, modern and very clean rooms, to the spa with its pools, to the food and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, large covered garage with spaces for motorbikes and columns for charging cars... Highly recommended!!! Right on the road to the Stelvio...

16/07/2025: Lovely yet very expensive and very remote. The breakfast is exceptional and while the restaurant is acclaimed we found the six course meal to be over the top. Everything cost a fortune. 2 of us did yoga for 130 euro. Crazy. The staff is friendly and the setting is to die for. The rooms are nice but not great. Pool and spa are fine. Many mosquitos. Bring bug spray. It’s very nice but prepare to leave with an empty wallet.

12/06/2025: We had a homemade tagliatelli with fresh truffle, it was amazing! The Chef served it himself. The T-bone steak was cooked to the perfection. Kind waitress, good house wine and good prices.

10/06/2025: Unfortunately, the experience was not convincing. Non-existent welcome. The pizza was flavorless (even though it was a 4 Saisons pizza) and the dough was very average. Very surprised by the lack of attention shown to customers upon entering the restaurant 🤔 Luckily, the bill was a small amount.

27/07/2025: Waited an hour for a pizza. Miserable portion. Paid €5 for 20 fries. We were regulars, I'll never go back.

24/07/2025: Great place! Nothing crazy but very good food like the pasta or tuna, good pizza and nice ambiance in a more calm part of town with many locals coming to eat. Prices are good considering it’s in Florence. I go here every time I’m in Florence.

14/06/2025: We had awesome evenings at the gatto re during our vacation. The owners are super nice and I had the best Bistecca alla fiorentina ever. I would always visit again!

04/05/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, among the Chianti hills. Impeccable service, lovely environment with lots of references to cats. Excellent dishes, I don't give my best only for the temperature of the cut which was not optimal but in a mixed grill it can happen. Excellent wine map!

24/07/2025: Our experience at Antica Trattoria Papei was perfect! Attentive service, tasty, home-made food, on a lovely outdoor terrace. We especially recommend the wild boar stew—outstanding!

09/08/2025: Absolutely wonderful. Stumbled in here, on foot, stayed nearby at Park Palace Hotel. Family-owned restaurant with excellent food, views, and price. Wine list and menu ingredients are all local and fantastic quality. Service from the couple that owns this restaurant was personal and attentive. Also, the views were amazing!! Highly recommend.

19/07/2025: Piacevole sorpresa. Scelto a caso. Vista mare, Servizio veloce e cordiale. Preso menù degustazione: buoni e curati gli antipasti, entrambi i primi gustosi e in giusta quantità. Dolce buono. Ho potuto scegliere una demi bouteille, che non è sempre scontato, al giusto prezzo. Il conto onesto, non di più di quello che mi sarei aspettato. Da ritornare.

14/07/2025: Strongly not recommended. The food is low quality and the service is terrible. The staff's hospitality is almost non-existent. The bill was extremely high compared to the food served, and the wait times between courses were biblical. A ruined evening and dinner. I urge you NOT to go.

11/07/2025: Two unforgettable occasions made even more special We chose Ristorante Il Porto in Viareggio for two truly important moments for us: first, to celebrate our anniversary, and then for an even more unique occasion: choosing the name of our future daughter. We couldn't have asked for a better setting! Even with a small mix-up, the staff managed everything flawlessly, demonstrating great professionalism and attention to detail. We particularly appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and the sophistication of the recipes: every dish was a feast for the eyes and the palate, with authentic and beautifully showcased flavors. A restaurant that stands out not only for the quality of its cuisine, but also for its warm atmosphere and impeccable service. We'll definitely be back!

25/07/2025: It's a shame to come to this restaurant. It's always been a pleasure, both in terms of service and quality (which is beyond question). But over the past two years, it's changed a lot, especially in the portions, which are, to say the least, meager. Last night, four of us went. We had hot and cold appetizers, which it seemed they were embarrassed to bring; portions sized like canaries. For starters, we had spaghetti with clams and bottarga, clams, spaghetti with crab, and scampi gnocchi. Honestly, since a dish costs 18-20 euros, I want a large plate! We had to opt for second courses because we were still hungry. The mixed grill was also 20 euros for the grill, 2 king prawns, a piece of squid, and two scampi. My daughter had the fried fish (quite generous), dessert, and coffee for around 220 euros. If I hadn't eaten dessert, I'd have woken up hungry! PS: One thing I absolutely can't stand in a renowned seafood restaurant like this is putting too much sauce on the fish, which in my opinion covers the flavor. I hate it when you add cream to the scampi to make the dish richer and, in turn, cover the flavor. There was a lot of confusion last night; avoid next time.

24/07/2025: You have to find this restaurant... but what a marvel!! Welcome, cuisine, service, dishes, wines. We always return with the same pleasure. Excellent Italian cuisine, the appetizers are made from seafood, land, hot, cold, and pasta... Reservations recommended

31/07/2025: A wonderful experience for my entire family at Relais Riserva di Fizzano. The view, the food, the wine, the relaxation and of course, the staff made it all come together. 23/07/2025: Fantastic wine hotel owned by the Zingarelli family and belonging to the Rocca delle macie vineyard. This is in the middle of the Chianti area and with countless excursion possibilities. We stayed here for a week and already want to return. Smiling and exellent service at the reception, fantastic food in the restaurant, lovely pool area, perfect silence, incredible view and the apartments are large and perfectly rustically furnished. The place is recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a comfortable and quiet atmosphere in the middle of a fantastic wine region. The service is 10/10. The place is highly recommended.
