11/10/2025: Very nice restaurant in a beautiful setting. Great food, service and music. We had 3 dishes - Bottoni with Orange Duck, Gnudi with Ricotta and Spinach in sage and Truffle Sauce and Gnocchi in tomato and Basil Sauce and Ricotta - all yummy!!!! The only downside is the location, as it’s a rather long walk from the free parking lot outside the Centro Storico and back. If you plan on visiting the Centro Storico anyway (which you should, as it’s beautiful), do yourselves a favor and don’t skip this restaurant!

09/10/2025: I'd say overrated. The much-vaunted appetizer (we ordered everything) was nothing more than what any restaurant in the area offers, in fact I'd say less. The tordelli with ragù were too spicy, and the ragù was a tad burnt. The price was what we expected (over €50 per person for an appetizer and first course), but it wasn't justified by the menu selection, the flavor, or the quality.

The food is delicious, the pizza is exquisite, and the prices are reasonable (considering we're in the center of Florence). But the real beauty of this place is the kindness of the staff!! 29/07/2025: The pizzas were very good, with soft, easy-to-digest dough and tasty toppings. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the first courses. We ordered two seafood carbonaras, with slightly overcooked pasta and a fish sauce with very little salt. Impeccable service, friendly waiters, and a nice interior.

16/09/2025: The B&B is in an excellent location for a visit to Garfagnana. At Eliseo, we received a truly warm welcome from the very kind owners, who made us feel right at home. The rooms are functional, well-furnished, and impeccably clean, ensuring a worry-free stay. A real plus is the combination of their restaurant, with its intimate, relaxed atmosphere and excellent traditional cuisine. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: Excellent food that brings back happy memories of past holidays in Thessaloniki. Excellent service and friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's delightful to listen to the soothing chatter of the patrons while sipping a tentoura. Definitely worth a try.

The place is nice, but the ventilation needs to be improved, as the smell of food permeates your clothes at the end of the evening. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Recommended for a different kind of evening. Price: €30-€40 per person, full dinner.

28/07/2025: A beautiful mountain hotel in the Casentinesi Forest Park, nestled in a beautifully restored small village. Managed with great kindness and cordiality, with particular attention to respect for the environment and its guests, it offers a delicious breakfast, some of which is freshly prepared. A swimming pool and parking are also available. A truly enchanting place.

21/09/2025: Last night we discovered a real gem near the Darsena in Viareggio. The restaurant is striking for its elegance right from the entrance: it feels like entering the hall of a starred hotel, with rooms designed with attention to every detail and fine materials everywhere, from the floors to the coverings. After the welcome, you are accompanied to the upper floor: a spectacular terrace overlooking the sea, covered but with a sliding roof, which opens based on the weather. Unique, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The tables are well spaced, which is rare and much appreciated. The menu is limited, but studied and based on very fresh raw materials: the catch of the day is visible on display on the ground floor, on ice tubs in view next to the kitchen. The wine list is simply endless, with the sommelier ready to guide you in the right choice - we relied on him for a Vermentino, very spot on. Impeccable service, kind and prepared staff, ready to answer any questions. Yes, the prices are those of a high-end restaurant... but so is everything else. An experience worth every penny. Perhaps one of the best restaurants in all of Viareggio. We will be back.
