Food was good and had good portions, service was good (but could’ve been slightly better). Bread that came with the table was not that good. Didn’t get to order more because they were closing at 2:30pm.

After visiting the Castello dei Vicari in Lari, we decided to have dinner here. We ordered a Tuscan appetizer for two, accompanied by glasses of house red wine. The first course was Martelli spaghetti with sausage carbonara, which was very good and flavorful. We also had a second course, one of the signature dishes and certainly the most popular on the menu, the classic peposo with quality meat. Desserts included a homemade caramel cheesecake and a Tuscan cigar with a shot of rum-infused chocolate. The bill was quite reasonable. The atmosphere was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the staff were always smiling. An excellent choice.

Here for lunch on Easter Monday. Sincere compliments for the excellent dishes, both the Tuscan antipasto and the slate and peposo. Sublime.

A truly enjoyable dinner with friends! The four of us had three starters, four main courses, a side dish, and two desserts, all accompanied by two bottles of mid-range wine, water, and an after-dinner drink. The portions were adequate and the dishes were well-prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a wonderful, typically Tuscan feel; the service is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The prices are fair and fully in line with the quality offered. We'll definitely be back!! 🤗

26/03/2026: A very interesting menu, a helpful and friendly host, and a kind host daughter. One star less for prices that are perhaps—at least for me—a bit too high, which puts me off going back. (Too much light for my style; I prefer softer lighting, but I must say the atmosphere is refined.)
