The caciucco, the first course and the starter are excellent, even if not fish-based. The dessert was very disappointing! Maybe defrosted.... My mistake in not having pointed this out to the very kind waitress!

Avevo grandi aspettative sul cacciucco ma sono rimasta un po' delusa, l'impiattamento non era adeguato in quanto servito su un piatto piano si è raffreddato subito, a mio parere ci sarebbe voluto un coccio e qualche fetta di pane abbrustolita avrebbe fatto la differenza. Spaghetti alle vongole molto semplici con sapore un po' giù di tono. Fritto misto buono. Conto nella media.

Sono venuto con amici a gustare il cacciucco, che devo dire mi è piaciuto davvero molto. Ottimi anche gli antipasti e la frittura di pesce. Notevole la cantina dei vini e personale competente e simpatico. Consigliato.

La cosa positiva di questo storico locale livornese è che ci ha preso a cena anche molto sul tardi (22.30 circa), cosa non scontata. Ciò detto i piatti non erano molto belli a vedere, mentre a mangiarsi erano nella media, niente di più. Le cozze non sembravano molto pulite ma le ho mangiate perché avevo fame. Il caciucco, invece, non era a mo' di zuppa e si presentava molto poco brodoso. Ripeto: molto brutti a vedersi, sufficienti a mangiarsi.

01/10/2023: We were on Elba after mid-September, an ideal period, not very crowded, no need for reservations or waiting in this or other restaurants. Wonderful view, excellent fish dishes, friendly and helpful waiters, honest prices considering the location. Advised!
15/09/2023: Went to the restaurant several times and also picked up food. Pizza was excellent, as was the fish, value for money was very good. We can only recommend the restaurant. Very friendly staff.
