11/07/2025: Dinner with friends, excellent product quality, equally high-quality cuisine and presentation. The downside is the small portion sizes for both starters and main courses, as well as desserts. You could count the gnocchi at first glance, the meat cuts were thin strips, the side dishes are small portions, such as the spinach, you could count the leaves. The wine by the glass was in short supply and at a truly excessive price given the very average quality. The desserts were also small portions with customization of the preparation that has nothing to do with the original, such as tiramisu. Let's say it's a classic tourist restaurant but has little to do with real Tuscan or Italian cuisine. The older waiter was very good and professional.

09/07/2025: We had an unforgettable lunch at Osteria La Taverna di San Giuseppe. The cannelloni with veal and truffle was exceptional, rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also had the carbonara, which was equally impressive, creamy, perfectly balanced, and deeply satisfying. The setting is cozy and full of charm, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. A perfect spot for a memorable meal in Siena — definitely worth a reservation!

29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante, consigliatoci da un amico del luogo. Abbiamo ordinato due caciucchi, inizialmente uno servito tiepido e uno freddo, fatto notare ai camerieri, si scusano e provvedono. Il piatto quando é stato riportato al tavolo era stato palesemente riscaldato in un microonde e in oltre quando ci é stato chiesto se fosse tutto ok, abbiamo fatto notare che che ormai il polpo, seppia ecc. erano stracotti e non era possibili mangiarli, IL cameriere ignorandoci totalmente ci dice solo “ok” , nessuna scusa o per lo meno il provare a riparare.

26/07/2025: Pesce fresco di prima qualità, ottimi sapori e porzioni giuste. Servizio attento e non invasivo. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo noi siamo partiti apposta da Firenze per tornare in questa trattoria. Accettano i cani e questo è buono per chi come noi lo porta sempre con se. Consigliatissimo.

12/06/2025: We had a homemade tagliatelli with fresh truffle, it was amazing! The Chef served it himself. The T-bone steak was cooked to the perfection. Kind waitress, good house wine and good prices.

10/06/2025: Unfortunately, the experience was not convincing. Non-existent welcome. The pizza was flavorless (even though it was a 4 Saisons pizza) and the dough was very average. Very surprised by the lack of attention shown to customers upon entering the restaurant 🤔 Luckily, the bill was a small amount.

25/07/2025: I found this place by chance because I had to go to a concert at the Lucca Summer Festival. From the start, the staff was friendly, smiling, and organized. Despite the crowd, they quickly seated us; the ordering process was quick, and the food was served quickly. There's a wide selection on the menu: pizza, burgers, stuffed focaccia, and a restaurant. A varied selection of very good and unusual local craft beers. I had both the burger and the pizza, the latter very special. The prices were really fair for what you get. The following week I had another concert, and without even thinking about it, I returned again. This time I was late. They asked me if I was going to the concert, and in no time they seated me and brought the two dishes I'd ordered. The staff were more than friendly and always smiling. Excellent visit.

22/06/2025: Se vuoi un posto senese dove si mangia bene roba toscana e senese in un ambiente vero , senese, con una spesa normale e dove puoi trovare l’atmosfera del Palio anche a gennaio sei nel posto giusto.

01/08/2025: A charming place with both indoor and outdoor seating, located a few hundred meters from the seafront. The service was quick, courteous, and efficient. The two first courses (seafood carbonara and black tagliolini alla pescatora) were excellent and tasty. On the waiter's recommendation, we then ordered the fried anchovies. Everything was very pleasant and plentiful.

30/07/2025: I had already eaten at this place a couple of years ago and, even if it was nothing special, the food was good and pleasant, the service good and efficient, the location spartan but... like all the others of that level in that location. Now, without wanting to be harsh because anything could have happened in the kitchen, including a possible absence - otherwise unexplained - of the chef or whoever, two Sundays ago we went back but, alas, it was a bit of a disaster... bland and unappealing appetizers, a substantial obstacle: spaghetti all'olio, two mussels and two clams (since when have clams?), the fried food was saved... in any case, a bad evening. I repeat, something could have also happened in the kitchen but, they should have at least told us after we asked: "Is everything okay? We had pointed out the obstacle... nonexistent!"

22/07/2025: I've been to this place twice, run by very helpful, down-to-earth, yet professional and attentive staff. Both times, in the evening, there was live music with a talented singer who entertained us until midnight, and we were seated at the outdoor tables. Our first dinner at Dek was very simple but delicious. I had a lovely salad with tuna fillets, and my husband had meat pizzaiola with a side of green beans sautéed in tomato sauce. A bottle of white wine, filtered water (unfortunately) which I can't stand, but seems to be the solution for everyone these days, and some ice cream sweets. The second evening, since it was very late and the kitchen was closing, we had two decent Margherita pizzas, a focaccia bread, beer, Coke, and mini ice creams.

20/07/2025: I've heard about this restaurant, and read about it online. My partner and I were curious to try it. We tried it last night. The welcome was very kind, the service was more than good, and the food was excellent. We sat outside, and I was a bit disappointed. I wasn't expecting simple red plastic chairs. I don't find anything strange about it, except that I overestimated it based on the advertising I read. That's all. I haven't seen the inside, obviously. I'll try to come back, especially since I ate very well.

04/07/2025: Artimino, a timeless jewel. We visited the village with my wife M.A. Medici, a descendant of the historic family, admiring the elegant Villa Medicea dei Cento Camini, built around 1600 at the behest of Grand Duke Ferdinando I. It was a pleasure to walk through the narrow streets rich in history and enjoy the view from the highest point of the hill. Today Artimino is a charming village, with a center organized as a widespread hotel, few inhabitants and few premises, an original model of hospitality. Unfortunately, the welcome was spoiled by an unpleasant episode: arriving late in the evening after a long journey, we turned to the Bertuzzi Restaurant/Bar, crowded with customers and active staff. Despite this, the owner — with rude manners — refused us even a simple cold cutting board, claiming that the kitchen was closed. Later, passing by again, we noticed that the service continued fully. At that point I expressed my disappointment in a civil manner, pointing out that a little courtesy would have been enough to avoid making a bad impression. It is a shame that such an attitude could compromise the image of such a beautiful place, ruining the experience of other visitors.

01/08/2025: Trovandoci in zona per problematiche di salute il ristorante è situato proprio di fronte all'ospedale di Cisanello,personale accogliente,servizio ottimo qualità buona,da migliorare sulle porzioni e sulla qualità della tagliata 3 pepi €20 per 5 pezzetti di numero mi sembra un pochino eccessivo,accanto a loro c'è un altra attività sempre gestita da loro LA VECCHIA CASCINA idea molto simpatica con ampia terrazza che gira tutt'intorno al locale da mangiare buono,l'unica pecca è il personale forse scarso non riesce a ripulire i tavoli delle consumazioni fatte all'esterno.

23/07/2025: Un hermoso restaurante NO lujoso en la parte antigua de Livorno, muy cerca de la terminal de ferry. Personal absolutamente amable y una cocina súper sabrosa. Apertura a las 6. 45 p.m. para la cena, muy adecuado para una buena comida antes de abordar uno de los transbordadores de la noche. Prueba su menú de mariscos, IT está delicioso.

22/07/2025: I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. I had a great time; we ordered the pici neri with shellfish and pistachios and the grilled tuna. Both dishes were excellent. The service was quick and the prices were quite reasonable. I was satisfied. Plus, the location on the canal is lovely.

20/07/2025: Even though we had a reservation for 7.30pm we were given a table in full sunlight on a 30 + degree day. Our request for a shadier table was met with total rudeness and annoyance.

20/07/2025: Don't bother coming here, any minor inconvenience and the staff will ruin your night. We booked a table and they put us in the sun. When we asked to move to an equivalent table they had a hissy fit like little children until we walked out.

07/08/2025: The small village of Petroio is a jewel that's easy to fall in love with. The hotel, located in the center of town, offers a truly unique experience. The rooms and terrace where breakfast is served are wonderful.

22/07/2025: The Palazzo Brandano offers a truly quiet location, perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean, providing a pleasant atmosphere for a comfortable stay. The comfortable bed, which ensures a restful sleep, is particularly noteworthy. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating, always helpful and friendly, which makes the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast is also delicious and offers plenty of fruit to start the day invigorated. Overall, the Palazzo Brandano is a recommended accommodation for anyone who values peace, cleanliness, and good service. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

16/07/2025: The food was good. The first visit was great. The food was good and the service very friendly. On our second visit, the food was also good, but we had a very unfriendly waiter. After the meal, we were asked for dessert, which we politely declined because we wanted to digest first. The waiter then threw the bill on the table without comment. Very pleased, as we had so much fun the first time.

15/07/2025: Totally awesome. Bought drinks and got a free platter with tons of goodies. We didn't know, so we said we hadn't ordered them. "It's included 👍😅" was what they said. Unfortunately, we forgot to take a photo.

03/08/2025: Disappointment at the Table – A Missed Opportunity Visiting this small-town restaurant was unfortunately an unsatisfactory experience in many ways. The first difficulty arose upon arrival, with parking far away and poorly signposted, making access inconvenient. Once seated, expectations did not improve. The service was inattentive: long waits and staff that were not fully qualified, likely understaffed. Despite the rustic ambiance, the table settings were decidedly sloppy, with low-quality tablecloths and cheap cutlery, giving the impression of a lack of attention to detail. The space was overused, with tables spaced too close together and too small to accommodate diners. The portions were modest and in no way justified the rather high prices. Even the dishes, while presentable, failed to impress with either originality or flavor, leaving an overall feeling of blandness. In a local cuisine setting, one expects authenticity and substance, elements only vaguely touched upon here. In short, a disappointment in almost every respect, compounded by a decidedly unbalanced quality-price ratio. It's a shame, because the location has potential, but the management seems to be neglecting what really matters to keep customers coming back: attention, hospitality, and quality.

02/08/2025: I am extremely disappointed by this restaurant. While the setting is splendid, at first glance you expect a small, typical village restaurant with good Italian food. In reality, the pretty terrace is spoiled by the much too loud English pop music which does not fit with the atmosphere of the place. The waitress was friendly but the food was abominable. The gnocchi were homemade, that's for sure, but they looked like tasteless mush. The pizzas were not pizzas. Small, with overcooked, low-end mozzarella, I'm still looking for the walnuts and gorgonzola that were listed on the menu... A kind of crust in short. We left everything and left. I strongly advise against it or sit at the wooden tables below, order a spritz and bring your picnic!
