14/02/2026: Looking for a last-minute dinner, we stumbled upon this place by chance. It was fully booked, but there was a table available for at least an hour, so we decided to stop anyway, not knowing where else to go at that hour. We were greeted and served with such kindness. We ordered chicken, tacos, vegetables, and potatoes. They were truly delicious and well-prepared, offering new flavors. If we return to Cortona, we will definitely book a table in advance to enjoy other dishes. Thanks to the staff for welcoming us at the last minute.

14/02/2026: A truly warm and welcoming place. Very kind and polite service. After a reasonable wait of 15-20 minutes, we ate excellent Peruvian food. After the obligatory mopping up of the plates, we left our plates practically clean 😜. Generous portions and excellent prices. Highly recommended! Compliments to all the staff.

13/10/2025: Discovered by chance, at the end of a FAI day that took us to the historic village of Campiglia Marittima. A delightful, well-maintained place, with courteous and professional service. Excellent cuisine and value, with a carefully curated and well-curated wine selection. An original, yet unpretentious menu. Solid cuisine, excellent presentation, a wonderful experience. We'll gladly try it again in the spring.

15/03/2026: Overall, a positive experience. I appreciated the small, cute, and pleasant atmosphere. The food was obviously based on local tradition, and the quality was undeniably evident. The tasting menus are a plus, allowing you to quickly choose a variety of dishes at a more affordable price. The service wasn't the best; there was no shortage of courtesy and hospitality, but there were a few lapses in concentration and slightly long waits. I think it was a particularly difficult evening for the restaurant, but that's how it is, and I'll report it. In any case, no real inconvenience.

25/11/2025: An unforgettable dinner. Excellent food quality and preparation, interesting and balanced combinations of ingredients, and a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Prices are reasonable considering the quality offered. Service is informal but attentive.

23/11/2025: The restaurant is located near San Gimignano. Gourmet cuisine created with Tuscan influences. We can prepare simple dishes for small children, such as short pasta in white sauce, with tomato sauce, or with ragù. Clean and spacious environment.

18/03/2026: We chose this place to celebrate my partner's birthday, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, ideal for enjoying the moment without rushing. The service impressed us: a rare kindness and attention to detail that makes you feel truly welcome. The seafood is top-notch; admittedly, the bill is a bit pricey, but the freshness of the ingredients and the attention we received make it absolutely worth it. I didn't stay in the rooms, so I can't rate them, and parking may require a little patience, but the dining experience is more than worth it. A truly relaxing stop that I highly recommend.

14/03/2026: A lovely local trattoria with a warm atmosphere and excellent seafood. Everything was super fresh, simple, and full of flavor. Friendly service and very good value. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area, we’ll happily come back..

17/10/2025: We like to thank the staff at La Madia for their incredible service, most specially Ryan who took care of us on October 15. We came back tonight , October 16 and brought our priest and Her Excellency Lieutenant of the Dames and Knights of the Holy Sepulcher. We were here in Firenze for 3 days from the US for the Jubilee Year Pilgrimage. We just chanced on LaMadia walking back to our Hotel the other night. The pasta and seafood were excellent and the service even better. We'd sure recommend your place to our friends who'll be visiting Firenze in the future! Thank you very much!!!

15/03/2026: We visited in mid-March, on a Sunday for lunch in the enchanting San Miniato. The restaurant is beautiful and bright, with large windows overlooking the splendid valley. The wait staff is fabulous, attentive to every need, always kind and professional. It's really hard to express anything about the dishes because they were all so good, with well-defined yet delicate flavors that combined to create a symphony that is hard to forget. High-quality, seasonal ingredients that showcase the local produce. We tried the land tasting, and our 13-year-old daughter was won over by the bottega with dried tomatoes and guinea fowl, duck, and rabbit ragù. Finally, the chef, a wonderful person with kindness in his eyes, was a pleasure to thank for the wonderful lunch. I recommend going, even more than once, to explore the various menus. It's a place that exudes simple, elegant cordiality.

29/01/2026: I couldn't find the restaurant; I think it's changed its name and owners, unfortunately. I went because of a friend's recommendation, but I didn't find the restaurant.

24/12/2025: I returned after many years. The owners have changed, but they're very kind and made me feel welcome. The pizza is always good. The only flaw is the location, located outside in a gazebo facing the market square but heated by small heaters. I ate the pizza quickly because I was freezing. I'd better come back in spring next time.

09/01/2026: Passing through Siena, we stopped for a quick lunch at this refined and well-maintained restaurant. The service was prompt and warm. The dishes were well-prepared and generously portioned, satisfying our discerning palates. We ate well... if we return to Siena, we'll know where to stop.
