08/09/2025: Lovely restaurant right outside of the main area of Montepulciano. The owner and his wife provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food. As vegetarians we tried La Ribollita soup and the Cappellacci, both of which were delightful. Recommend this spot if you’re in the area looking for some good food.

10/10/2025: Stopped by for a late lunch. Had the pizza mahgarita which was delicious. Sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon light and the people passing by. Service was a bit relaxed which seems typical in Italy, but we weren’t in a hurry anyway! Lovely pause between window shopping and visiting museums.

Table service is not always up to par, depending on the waiter. Mrs. Daniela's management brings a strong identity and lustre to the mission and management of this historic establishment.

15/10/2025: We found this restaurant while strolling through the streets of Pistoia, and I can say it was a great choice. Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant of all those we visited in Tuscany. Homemade food, freshly prepared. Excellent service and a very peaceful atmosphere. 10/10 value for money. We ordered spaghetti carbonara, vegetable lasagna, and tagliata with potatoes. For dessert, we had a cream cake, and with our coffee, they gave us a couple of shots of limoncello. In short, if you're in Pistoia, don't miss it.

30/08/2025: Our large group was greeted with a smile at this small restaurant, and we ate (and drank) very well. The couple who run the restaurant were very helpful and provided us with a wonderful experience of Tuscan family cooking. I recommend it!

04/10/2025: I've heard many good things about this restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. There were no daily specials, service was a bit slow, meals were salty (I had pasta and meat), and most importantly, the pork steak was regrettably very dry and chewy. I rarely leave meat on the plate—but this time, it was inedible, so I sent more than 50% of it back. I'm not one to complain, but I felt like my feedback wasn't taken onboard. I live locally but will probably not return. There are many better places to go. I've heard many good things about this restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. There was no daily special, the service was a bit slow, the dishes were salty, and (I had a first and second course), most importantly, the pork steak was unfortunately very dry and chewy. 06/07/2025: Discovered by chance on my way back from a business trip; the dishes I tasted (trio of tartare, tortelli with ossobuco and cockerel) were very good and well prepared and the waiting staff, kind and welcoming, made this lunch really very pleasant. If I pass by Greve again I will gladly return.

01/07/2025: An attempt to create fusion cuisine based on Italian classics. In my opinion, a bit unsuccessful. It may taste good, but... not in Tuscany. Chianti Riserva by the glass is great.

06/10/2025: Unique pizza restaurant in Lucca. Experts at fried appetizers, the battered zucchini flowers were the best I have ever had, perfectly crispy and nice and salty. The mozarella cheese balls were also light and crispy. I wanted to go back and just order 4 plates of the zucchini flowers! Interesting choice of drinks, my campari spritz was very strong, but I enjoyed it. I regretted my pizza choice though, a porchini mushroom one. It made the pizza soggy and the toppings fell off. The dough was upgraded to a charcoal one which looked impressive, I'd just recommend keeping the pizza itself simple / dry. The crust was perfect.

04/10/2025: The best of the best. I don't often go out for breakfast, but when I do, I go to Caffè Neri, and it never disappoints. Excellent pastries, especially the cream puff pastry. They have a nice selection of sweet and small pastries, and the savory ones are also very good. The staff are kind, friendly, and always smiling, which definitely gets them points. I definitely recommend it.

17/09/2025: Both in the savoury and sweet dishes, tradition is found with the maximum exaltation of flavours... among the savoury dishes, the delicious schiacciate filled with seasoned cold cuts and among the wonderful sweets, the cremini, the scendiletto and the cream croissants as well as the sfogliatine... describing these flavours in words is truly reductive.

16/10/2025: We ate fish, and it was all very good, with generous portions. The price was in line with the dishes we ordered. The owner was very attentive. I'll definitely be back.
