29/07/2025: The food is very good, the service is efficient: the waiters are polite, respectful, active and professional. However, for the bistecca alla fiorentina, don't forget to ask for it cooked rare - the meat literally melts in your mouth!

28/07/2025: It was a phenomenal experience being a guest here. The service was sublime and the food was, as they say here, "bellisimo." I would definitely come back again. The mussels and pizzas are highly recommended. The pasta was also surprisingly delicious. Come and see for yourself.

02/08/2025: Prima volta da loro a cena in tre, su suggerimento di un’altro chef. Esperienza ottima, locale garbato in darsena, cenato nel patio. Maestoso crudo di pesce, spaghettini alle arselle fresche fa-vo-lo-si, un buon dentice al forno con le olive e patate. Tutto freschissimo e ben presentato. Servizio impeccabile fatto da giovani preparati. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino inusuale e la temperatura non era perfetta. Prezzi accettabili in proporzione alla grande qualità. 27/06/2025: Cocktails were really nice and the service was good. However, the floor was quite dirty and the toilets were very smelly. You can buy recycled art that were hanging on the walls.

10/05/2025: The cocktails were perfect! Brilliant atmosphere even when sitting outside. The gentleman working was amazing and very helpful - helping us move the table to sit in the shade when needed. Would 100% recommend ❤️

15/07/2025: Price doesn't match the quality. The servers seem exhausted with too much work to do. The presentation of the dish left a lot to be desired (it looked like dog food): the asparagus was clearly not fresh (frozen or overcooked—it looked like puree). Flavor: "OK," if I'm being generous. Quantity: less than the Italian standard. The bill took over 10 minutes to arrive.

11/07/2025: Great ‘locals only’ place with both authentic Tuscan surf and turf! Awesome wines, traditional dishes and great relaxed atmosphere. Not a tourist trap like most of Pisa!

10/08/2025: Everything was perfect: the waiters were very friendly, the food was high-quality, and the atmosphere was great, close to the center of Pontremoli. The Testaroli with pesto were delicious.

27/07/2025: We ate there in our stay in Florence. Food was very delicious and flavorful. The staff were polite and present and the service was amazing. The even have a list of allergics ingredients that may be in the dish! Superb experience.

26/06/2025: The food was incredible and for the price of everything it was really worth the money in every way. We had bread, slices of pizza dough with herbs and tomato sauce and prosecco to start, all complementary. We then had the octopus pasta whichw as so filling, so much octopus and so delicious. We also had the tuna and roasted vegetables as a second dish which was cooked beautifully. We finished with the pistachio tiramisu to share and it was incredible. We had the house wine for 15 euros a bottle which was also really good - you can never go wrong with house wine in Italy! All in all the food and timing of the service was great and the atmosphere felt chique and warm at the same time. The o ly downsides are that it was very warm outside with no fans or any cooling (34 degrees was a bit much and even hotter inside) and the staff were a bit standoffish and not so friendly. They indeed did their job well, but even with the locals it felt a bit too strict service, it's okay to have a joke and smile but this was definitely not the case here. Edit - went back for takeaway pizza and the half British half Italian waitress was lovely!!

07/07/2025: We went to dinner at this beautiful restaurant. Their battuta is heavenly, never eaten so good!!! The tagliata di Maremmana really deserves to be served rare. A special thanks to the waitress Giada, very nice, cordial and professional, and to the owner who is friendly and willing to tell the story of the territory not only through typical dishes. Thank you!

08/06/2025: I only have to report a glass of wine for €12. I understand the quality of the wine, but I find the price really excessive. Unfortunately this detail was really negative compared to what the restaurant offered.

05/08/2025: I was looking for an authentic Italian restaurant to eat at. Fed up of all the tourist restaurants, I did some research and found Tortuga. I’m so glad I did. This was a long walk from the city of Florence, but was well worth it. This was the best meal we’d had in Florence. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even with the language barrier. Fantastic, fresh food. My son had the spicy salami pizza, whilst I had the salmon. It was delicious! I can’t wait to go back again!

25/07/2025: Siamo stati con amici e ci siamo sentiti meravigliosamente bene. Ristorante molto bello e bistecca alla fiorentina di 2 kg lo abbiamo divorato in picco tempo, buonissima. Lo staff molto amichevole e competente. Ritorneremo al più presto.

25/07/2025: Ristorante molto accogliente e suggestivo, sembra di stare in casa della nonna. Cibo super è servito molto amichevole. Abbiamo mangiato antipasto toscano di salumi, pappardelle al cinghiale e bistecca alla fiorentina tutto di alta qualità. Posso dire una delle bistecche più buone mai mangiate. Qualità prezzo giusto per la qualità. Lo consiglio vivamente e ritorneremo assolutamente.

09/08/2025: We had an amazing dinner, starting with beef carpaccio and a unique zucchini dish. The table side flambe filet was stellar, the sauce was delicate and decadent at the same time. My family each ordered different pasta dishes that were spectacular. The service and ambiance enhanced the meal. Be sure to check it out if you find yourself in Florence.

08/08/2025: The restaurant is located near Florence's historic centre and offers a good selection of Florentine dishes. The florentine bistecca was excellent -- flavourful and cooked to perfection! Valentina, our server, was charming and attentive to our 9-person table. Great job Ristorante Storico Sabatini!! --we'll be back! Mille grazie!
