03/06/2025: A gem of a restaurant! My parents recommended it to me and so we went there with my boyfriend.. The place is wonderful... very welcoming both inside and out... The waiters are very kind, prepared, friendly and nice.. The fish is excellent and fresh... Well-balanced and tasty dishes.. The only "sore" note (if I may say so) is the portions... My parents went there last year and the first courses and the fried food were immense in quantity, while when I went there with my boyfriend they were very normal... But they were excellent... The prices are medium-high, but obviously being top quality fish it is normal.. I have eaten many fried fish in my life and I think this is one of the best I have ever eaten... I will spend one more word for the environment: truly special... Inside (large place) it is "chaotically balanced" and with a decor that winks at the maritime but combining it with tables, chairs and wooden furniture... like a "sea hut" :) I felt at home.. There is also a floor below, but I have not seen it so I cannot say how big it is.. The exterior is a mix between modern, bucolic and classic.. there are benches, a path and various tables... all in the greenery... it seems like being in a small fairy garden.. Then there are two parking lots: one in front of the entrance (gate) and the other further down and it is really huge and you can enjoy a beautiful view to get there... I can't wait to go back! ☆☆☆☆

11/05/2025: Out of a two week trip exploring Italy, this was by far the best meal we had! We were blown away by the incredible view when we arrived, and then watched a beautiful sunset over the vineyards. The whole staff was lovely and kind enough to speak with us in English. The food was perfection, we ordered a little bit of everything and shared it all. The truffle gnocchi was so good it made me a cry a little! If you are in the area, you need to eat here!!

10/06/2025: Well… a formal Italian restaurant “For Tourists”. This is the typical “I wanna do what Locals do” experience… The restaurant is visibly retro… not very well-kept for how formal it is. Visibly dated… but not in a good way. Let’s start with their strong point, they are always available… there is often space, and the service is impeccable (they are very attentive and kind). Now, let’s get to the dishes… We tried the cold cuts and 2 first courses, with the usual glass of wine. Let’s start with some cold cuts that could be those and the tray (neither infamy nor praise)… even if the price is not that of the tray. While the 2 first courses were long pasta with mushrooms, and the other with Lampredotto. Eh… and here’s the problem: The 2 first courses are IDENTICAL… the mushrooms have no flavor, there is only the hint, barely the smell. You can only taste the garlic and parsley… just like in the first course with Lampredotto, tasteless… just garlic and parsley. This is to say that you can’t make the same soup and then sauté it with poor quality condiments… or at least not from the fridge (and who knows how long ago, to be so tasteless). 02/06/2025: Sulla via di passaggio tra Volterra e il mare in un paese che ormai sa di glorie passate mi ha sempre incuriosito questa terrazza piena di gente... Fermato. Il locale è ampio con uno splendido loggiato esterno. Cucina varia e pizza. Personalmente mi sono catapultato sulla pasta con le sarde che, dove proposte, sono un'ottima cartina di tornasole per la cucina. Erano fantastiche! Spesso sono in zona, credo che mi fermerò nuovamente molto volentieri. Assai consigliato, anche per i prezzi. Merita la deviazione se andate a Volterra

21/05/2025: On the way to Volterra we visited a pizzeria. We sat in the garden. We were served by a very nice and smiling lady. She took excellent care of us and our dog. The pizza was delicious!! The lady gave us a taste of homemade bread with olive oil. Also delicious. We didn't have Dolce, but we did have excellent coffee. The pizzeria also includes a hotel. Warm regards❤️

17/05/2025: Todo se hace al más alto nivel. Hemos disfrutado de las comidas aquí en varias ocasiones durante los últimos 10 años y nunca hemos tenido una mala comida. Platos tradicionales de la Toscana cocinados de una manera moderna, un servicio amable y eficiente, buena carta de vinos. Uno de los mejores restaurantes en los que hemos estado, no solo en la Toscana por la consistencia y la calidad de la comida y el servicio.

For me, being an Indian vegetarian, I have fewer and fewer options in Europe, but the vegetarian food they offer in this restaurant is delicious, especially the dish "Hemp flour tortelli, filled with potatoes and spring vegetables, served on a saffron flavored cream cheese". Even the non-vegetarian food was great, as my friends who eat it said. There were three of us at lunch.

01/06/2025: Tiramisu is the BEST in Italy!! INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! Food is out of this world! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is our second time in Florence. Our first time in Florence (September 2022) we ate here our first night which had our standards for the food in Italy sky high for the rest of the trip! The second time around (June 2025), we had just as amazing of an experience as the first time! My fiance had the lasagna, and I had the tortellini. Both dishes were incredible! We also had the Caprese to start, wine, and, of course, the BEST tiramisu in Italy! We have tried tiramisu in Rome, Lake Como, Venice, Cinque Terre, and a few other cities, but none stand up to this tiramisu… order 1 per person, don’t share!! 🤩 All of the staff is very kind, and Stefano is great and fun to talk to. Stefano’s wife hand makes all of the desserts and does an incredible job!!! We are so excited to come back on our next visit to Florence!!

29/05/2025: Ormai da un po’ di tempo avevo deciso di non recensire più , ma in questo caso lo faccio volentieri perché semplicemente mi sono trovato bene ! Proprietari ( una famiglia) molto gentili, cordiali , ma che un po’ ti fanno sentire a casa ! Sì direi atmosfera di casa ! Cibo molto buono e di qualità ! Locale ben curato pulito e molto carino ! A Poggibonsi non si può non fermarsi per una cena o un pranzo ! Merita assolutamente a mio giudizio !!!

03/06/2025: ¡Nunca volveremos! Aunque la última página del menú dice “amigable para las alergias”, nuestra experiencia fue extremadamente diferente. Cada otro restaurante que visitamos utiliza el sistema de números de alergias (1 - 14 ) que le informa de las advertencias de alergia para cada plato. Este restaurante no, así que informamos al servidor de la alergia a los frutos secos de nuestra hija y lo reconocieron. Procedimos a ordenar nuestras entradas pero cuando llegó la comida y mi hija dio el primer bocado, supo de inmediato que había ingerido una nuez de árbol. Preguntamos sobre la alergia a las nueces de árbol en la entrada, y recibimos un “lo siento”. Descubrimos que había anacardos (su alergia más peligrosa a los frutos secos) en el aceite utilizado para preparar su salsa de pasta. Tuvimos que administrarle su EpiPen, luego 40 minutos en coche a la sala de emergencias más cercana, y una larga noche en el hospital. Nunca volveremos. El mal servicio al cliente (falta de preocupación por nuestra solicitud y necesidad específica) casi crea una tragedia para nuestra familia.

I was impressed by the vast selection of pizzas, both classic and super special, perfect for those who love to experiment with new flavors and get out of the usual routine. Each pizza is cared for in detail and the quality can be tasted from the first bite. But the real strong point? The doughs! There are so many, all different and special: from the classic to the charcoal, to the cereal or wholemeal doughs. The cocktails are also a real treat: served very well, beautiful to look at and really good. An ideal place for an evening out of the ordinary, with original flavors and an extra touch of style. I will definitely be back!

Pizzeria da Ninni… fabulous selection of doughs and toppings, devastating pizza with a crunchy base, tomato almost completely devoid of acidity but with an authentic flavor and a mozzarella that marries perfectly on the margherita base. In addition to these very solid fundamentals they arrive at a much more unique note, the gourmet pizzas! Unique and seasonal these pizzas hide flavors that you would not expect from a pizza. Important note the non-gourmet pizzas are also available in the maxi version, which corresponds to double the dough and topping. Well desserts made by them and their strawberry tiramisu and I can confirm that it can be worth leaving some room for dessert. Fast, courteous, kind service, I would say almost impeccable. Ambience, only 4 stars but why? All the rooms of the restaurant are individually beautiful, the rustic entrance and the veranda (which is opened on warm evenings) with a Lucca/superhero mural motif. The dissonance between these two places is the only reason why this score is not 5. GO THERE!
