16/02/2025: Excellent choice 👍 we went for lunch, we tasted some real delicacies; various well-presented appetizers of excellent quality, first course: homemade macaroni in black pork sauce, second course: mixed grill, strictly black pork and potatoes from the garden baked in the oven, what can I say, everything delicious. Rustic, welcoming and clean environment; the owner made us feel at home; kind and helpful staff. The prices are adequate in relation to the quality. We will gladly return to Badia a Ficarra, moreover it is a fascinating and elegant place, you can breathe the sea and mountain air, you can enjoy a magnificent view. I recommend booking the Badia is appreciated by many👏

09/04/2025: Attracted by the smell that came to my nose from the kitchen, I spontaneously decided to have my “pranzo” here. At the beginning of April I was the only guest at 1 p.m. - but that quickly changed. Antipasti was the Caponata di melanzane. I don't know what the caponata that Adelina makes for her inspector tastes like - this one was MERAVIGLIOSA! Afterwards there was Linguine del Capitano, for which many innocent little octopuses had to give up their lives - the chef gave them a more than worthy burial! The meal was accompanied by a wonderful white wine (Grillo). The only downside: there was no coffee for afterwards. Still overall highly recommended!

25/03/2025: After wanting to try it for a long time, we finally went there tonight and I must say that the experience was super positive! Everything was really excellent, from the venue, to the service, to the food. Compliments to the girl who served us who was very kind, the staff was friendly and attentive. Delicious appetizers (the excellent camembert croquettes and so are the chicken banditos), the delicious, soft, tasty sandwiches and also the really good desserts and perfect portions. We will definitely be back! Honorable mention: the music playlist with the best of 80s and 90s pop rock! The bill was absolutely in line with expectations, however excellent value for money in my opinion. I hope to come back to visit you soon ❤️✨

16/11/2024: Palermo aveva bisogno del ritorno “a casa” del Charleston, nel cuore del centro città dove i ristoranti di questo livello si contano sulle dita di una mano. La nuova sede dell’ex bar Mazzara è elegantissima e la cucina è straordinaria, frutto degli studi dello chef Verde che si percepiscono in ogni piatto. Continuando così è certo che arriveranno tantissimi riconoscimenti. Ma la cosa più gradita del nuovo Charleston è l’incredibile clima, una coccola per il cliente: si respira davvero l’affiatamento tra tutti i componenti dello staff e da un ambiente del genere non possono che nascere cose altrettanto belle.

08/03/2025: We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday, a splendid evening, highly qualified staff, excellent dishes, also paying attention to the guests who for various reasons had not tasted anything from the chosen menu, in fact no one remained hungry. Everything has been adorned with attention to detail in a beautiful and elegant way. The owners are available and attentive to everything and everyone. Everything was perfect! 15/02/2025: Elegant venue for any beautiful occasion....! And you can see it from how you can see from the photos! We ate there, super Valentine's Day menu that is yesterday... what can I say, simply wonderful from the polite staff, to the owner of the house as well as Carmelo and his whole family who are wonderfully kind, they satisfied us in everything... they know how to do it great! We had fun, we also danced, ate great, everything was excellent, freshly prepared, genuine stuff! So the eye also wants its part... see you next time 😘

26/02/2025: If you are looking for exceptional pizza, this is the place! 🍕🔥 The ingredients are fresh and high quality, the dough is light and fragrant. The staff is welcoming and always smiling, the service quick and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and convivial, perfect both for a dinner with friends and for an evening with the family.

28/03/2025: The staff at Hotel Carmine recommended Botega del Carmine to eat. It was excellent and we had a beautiful evening in this hidden gem of a restaurant with piano music, a garden, fairy lights and amazing service. (Come out of hotel turn left and restaurant is on the left near cacti. It is easy to miss - it has an enclosed garden in the centre which is not visible from the road 10/10. We live in France and appreciate good food and quality. The service was excellent and the meal awesome - their chef is top. The pianist/singer had talent.

El chef es excelente, y la comida fue realmente memorable. ¡La pieza de resistencia fue el mejor cannoli siciliano que hemos probado! Fue una revelación y estableció un estándar al que nunca se podrá volver a acercar.

01/01/2025: Excelente restaurante en el centro de Taormina. La comida deliciosa, tanto los entrantes (probamos el pulpo que estaba delicioso). La pasta, el pescado y las carnes espectaculares. Los postres deliciosos. El servicio excelente y el ambiente tranquilo. Muy recomendable.
