I recommend it for informal evenings with friends or as a couple, to be enjoyed in a relaxing atmosphere in the setting of the historic center of the square. Martha

04/04/2024: Recommended as a lunch stop along the highway. Pass the pasteries and go upstairs to the rather formal dining room. Very good pasta carbonara (large portions) and swordfish steak - we ordered with a little grilled vegetable portion. The mixed seafood antipasti that we saw at other tables looked delicious! Try it and say hello to Massimo the charming waiter that makes ensures first class service with a smile.

20/03/2024: It was the best food I had during my trip to Sicily.
Food provided as a service? Bread? It was delicious from the start.
The taste was different from regular spaghetti, and the mussel soup was the best out of the three times I had it. The steak was also the best out of three. The wine recommended was also good.
The price was 151 euros for three people including wine, so it is a reasonable price of about 50 euros per person.

01/04/2024: I PREMISE THAT I ONLY REVIEW IF I FIND IT FROM GOOD TO VERY GOOD.. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF HAVING LUNCH ON RESERVATION DURING EASTER (I HAVEN'T BEEN MANY YEARS..). EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE, FABRIC TABLE CLOTHING AND WELL SET TABLE FISH BASED MENU EXCELLENT EVERYTHING FROM THE STARTER (EXCELLENT OCTOPUS WITH PINEAPPLE AND PRAWN COCKTAIL WITH RAW TRITTUCO) TO THE FIRST COURSE TO THE SECOND COURSE TO THE DESSERT. THE SECOND COURSE BASED ON PRAWNS IS EXCELLENT AND SERVED HOT, FRESHLY COOKED AND THIN SWORDFISH WITH EXCELLENT CONFIT TOMATO. THE PROPERTY IS VERY POLITE AND AVAILABLE FOR EVERY NEED. ALL VERY GOOD. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED FOR A LUNCH/DINNER IN THE HEART OF PIAZZA ARMERINA

08/12/2023: Come sempre quando si passa da Piazza Armerina non può mancare ristorante Pepito. Un pranzo gustosissimo di pasta fresca con verdure spontanee e salsiccia, macchiata con qualche pomodorino. Per l'antipasto ci pensa il diversificato buffet con le portate fatte in maniera casereccia. Una cucina sana e deliziosa e personale molto accogliente e gentile. Consigliatissimo!

Simple aubergines that become an exciting dish for the taste buds.
Homemade fettuccine with sardines and fennel, a must try. Congratulations to Gianna and daughter for giving us an unforgettable culinary experience.
30/10/2023: Een heerlijk plaatselijk restaurant waar ook de locals veelvuldig komen eten. De zeer gastvrije eigenaar doet zijn uiterste best om met zijn minimale kennis van de Engelse taal je een heerlijke maaltijd te verzorgen. De overzichtelijke menukaart is zeer vriendelijk geprijsd!

03/04/2024: The food is average, not bad. The staff doesn't speak English, it's impossible to communicate. We ordered two sets with dessert, we didn't want wine (which was included in the set), we asked for water and instead it was brought wine anyway. For dessert We were charged extra because the waiter couldn't explain what dessert was included in the set and we showed which one we wanted in the menu, thinking it was included in the set. We didn't get the dessert from the set, only the extra one and we were charged an additional fee for it.
01/04/2024: We went to this restaurant as a family (including 3 people aged 80 to 91), Easter Sunday. Arriving there at 1 p.m., we were asked to wait until 2 p.m. to have a free table. given the number of restaurants open that day, we waited until then. Once installed and the
order taken we had to wait until more than 3 p.m. to be served and again because I expressed my annoyance to the waitress…
Having worked in restaurants, I am rather patient, but the lack of consideration for the customers particularly irritated me 😡 so no dessert, no coffee, just a hurry….to leave
Accustomed during our stay in Sicily to the kindness and helpfulness of the restaurateurs that we had the pleasure of meeting, this is the first time that we have been so poorly received and, moreover, to be served in a hurry and to eat dishes “which do not allow you to appreciate their flavor because they were so spicy 😳😩👎🏻
