04/12/2025: The other day I had some couscous and a fish main course. The couscous was good, but the fish was horrible (served cold in a nauseating broth). I won't be returning.

21/10/2025: We stayed (a group of motorcyclists) for two nights, half board. What can I say? In my opinion, everything was excellent. The rooms were well-maintained, especially the bathroom, which was perfect. No signs of limescale in the faucets or shower. The sea view was wonderful. Breakfast was generous and plentiful. Dinner was more than delicious. Our bikes were safely stored in the garage. Only a few people had to wait in the morning for their rooms, but I think it was due to previous guests leaving later than expected. That's understandable, but it doesn't alter my overall, more than positive opinion.
10/10/2025: I thank all the staff for their helpfulness and kindness... also for our breakfasts outside of regular hours with hot croissants and drinks at our disposal... the only flaw was the very low lights in the room.

02/10/2025: A very beautiful place on the sea, with ample and convenient parking with access from the main road. The food and wines are quality, though the desserts, I'd say, are less so. We returned after three days.
24/09/2025: A charming place to visit, especially in summer to enjoy the view. The first courses, the desserts, are good, but the selection is limited, and the semifreddo and almond parfait are very icy. The selection of bitters is very limited (only two).

04/03/2025: In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in the area. We spent a week on vacation and went there three times. The freshness and quality of the ingredients are excellent. The service is perfect, and
the staff is always ready to offer excellent advice on what to order. Generous portions. I recommend the raw fish because it's sublime. Excellent value. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant.
21/02/2025: Very pleasant location, good food, and a wide selection. The service is good. Prices are reasonable for what you choose, but it's best to get The Fork or similar to avoid any surprises on the bill.

01/08/2025: Our family stay at this agriturismo was pure magic. The tranquility, the stunning views of the mountains and Mount Etna, the pool, and all the activities for the kids were simply perfect. But the real highlight was the hospitality of Filippo and Rita and their incredible food. The homemade Sicilian dishes they served us every night, with fresh vegetables from their garden, were hands down the best we've ever tasted. Our kids even asked why we couldn't spend all vacations here!

30/11/2025: Daniele, the owner of Hotel L'Approdo delle Sirene, recommended Osteria Mariano while we were in Ortigia, and it was a gem. The atmosphere had a truly rustic Sicilian feel, tucked away in a charming alley that gave it an intimate, local vibe. The maitre d’ made me feel so comfortable that, for the first time in my life, I let him choose my meal — no clue what was coming until it hit the table. He brought out pasta con alici, true to Sicilian tradition, and I absolutely loved it. Every dish was authentic and full of flavor. The litre of vino della casa rosso was delicious and a fantastic value. Overall, a great local spot and definitely worth a return visit — in fact, we went back. Saluti

The very friendly service was excellent. And the prices are also modest...

09/11/2025: Look no further, we've found THE incredible pizzeria in Syracuse.
Simple and friendly, the wood-fired pizzas are made with fresh and varied ingredients. Yet the prices are the lowest I've seen.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
I highly recommend it.

18/10/2025: Very good food. Pasta, pizza, fish. We tried everything. We would have loved to try the lasagna, but since it's only made fresh once a day, it always sells out very quickly.
Even the house wine is absolutely fine.
I can't comment on the desserts, as we were always too full 🙂

29/11/2025: A wonderful Wonderful place! Everything we tried was fantastic, but ceviche stood out as a star dish. Service is very personal and the owner gave us excellent advice for wine and food. Recommend wholeheartedly.
