06/07/2025: Excellent restaurant, I tried both the mussels and a first course with red shrimp, all quality. Dishes presented with care. The girls who serve at the tables are very kind and professional. I will definitely return.

29/06/2025: What started as booking for one day, ended up being 5 because of how amazing everything was. The location is a 50 metre direct walk onto a lovely beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas, with a lifeguard at certain times. The sunset is amazing in the evening. Many shaded areas to pitch a tent which is what I did, English speaking, unlimited hot showers, even great wifi. The undercover outdoor restaurant has incredible fresh, home cooked meals along with the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. But it’s the owners and staff that made me want to stay day after day. They’re hospitality, friendliness and welcoming nature made my time spent there so memorable. I’m looking forward to returning. Thankyou so much!

20/06/2025: ..."strategic" place, 20 meters from the beach of Campofelice di Roccella in the Camping Praia Mare, cafeteria, ice creams also homemade, small minimarket, karaoke on Saturdays and then music until midnight, restaurant with "full board" (breakfast, lunch and/or dinner), all this in the middle of campers, bungalows, and caravans, super friendly family management, excellent prices.... what can I say, we absolutely have to go back, rating 10👍

11/07/2025: It's a hot day, and we're looking for a light lunch on the shores of Venus Lake. The owner immediately directs us to the coolest table. He gives us the menu and tells us the specials of the day and their prices. We choose two different salads. Service is prompt. The local wine is "honest." The fresh fruit salad is excellent. The coffee is also excellent. You can relax on lounge chairs or in hammocks... Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but today it seemed like heaven on earth to me.

02/07/2025: Beautiful place, very friendly staff. Excellent ice creams and granitas (recommended the one with local mulberry), with the possibility of using free sunbeds in the shade.

29/06/2025: Enjoyed an early dinner of mussels and homemade caponata. Ravioli Norma was light and delicious. We were well attended too, price very reasonable.

22/06/2025: ❌ Very disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes for a simple pasta. When it arrived, it was undercooked and hard. The sauce was bad — the cream had curdled. There were only 3 tiny pieces of prosciutto. This felt more like a low-level fast food place than a real restaurant. The rating does not reflect the real quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place. ❌ Very disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes for a simple pasta. When it arrived, it was undercooked and hard. The sauce was ruined — the cream had separated. Only 3 tiny pieces of prosciutto. This felt more like a low-level canteen than a real restaurant. The rating does not reflect the real quality. I would not recommend this place.

12/07/2025: I waited for more than an hour and a bit for a dish (spaghetti that takes 15 minutes to make). I reminded myself of my dish three times, and the waiter told me it was ready in five minutes, all three times. I left without eating at this place. They also didn't let me eat at the place shown in the photos, decorated with flowers and such. There's a terrace next door, quite simple and undecorated, where they cram everyone in.

17/07/2025: A wide selection of pizzas, very good and generous at a more than reasonable price! Located in a very quiet area on the square in front of the church. The staff is very friendly and took the time to tell us about the city!

29/06/2025: Egoístamente no quiero correr la voz sobre este restaurante demasiado ampliamente porque tiene que ser una de las joyas culinarias de Catania. Las repetidas visitas han confirmado que Luciano y su hijo Piero saben exactamente lo que están haciendo para proporcionar mariscos frescos, pasta excelente y cualquier tipo de entradas a una clientela en gran medida local. La relación calidad-precio es excepcional, desde la comida hasta la bebida, y hay una carta de vinos decente. Es evidente que se trata de un restaurante de barrio, y aunque ese barrio –cerca de la estación de tren– podría no parecer demasiado salubre, sería negligente no comer aquí. Catania tiene tantos buenos lugares para comer, pero aun así esto es un punto destacado.

18/05/2025: La comida es realmente genial, el antipasto de marisco para compartir es muy fresco y abundante, el espagueti vongole es muy sabroso y las almejas son grandes. La casa se levantó del barril complementó muy bien los platos locales. También ofrecieron un licor complementario y galletas para bañarse para terminar el banquete. Totalmente feliz experiencia.

17/10/2024: Ho scoperto questo ristorante grazie alla segnalazione di un mio collega. Io e mia moglie abbiamo passato una splendida cena in un locale accogliente con una bella atmosfera. Abbiamo cenato con un menù degustazione incentrato su una cucina del territorio che strizza l'occhio alla contemporaneità. Se passate dalle parti di Caltabellotta non perdetevi questa perla!

07/10/2024: Our resort recommended lunch here for an authentic Italian meal and boy did they deliver! We had wine and the tasting menu. The starters and pasta were amazing. The meat was good. Cannolis were delish. We also had the best service of our 2 weeks in Italy. Decor is adorable as well. It used to be an olive oil factory and they have some old machinery displayed. We even bought some olive oil to bring home as that was tasty as well. You must go here if in the area. We were staying in Sciacca and it was worth the drive.
