The dishes are all very tasty and plentiful, and the service is meticulously prepared. It's a great place for lunch, followed by a lovely stroll through the Modica area. I highly recommend it for anyone who, like me, loves traditional, delicious Sicilian cuisine.

Nothing is left to chance, and for this reason, everything feels authentic. The atmosphere is that of the trattorias of the past, where time slows down and you feel like a guest, not a customer. The service is friendly, familiar, never intrusive, as if you were sitting at the table of someone whose cooking is, first and foremost, a passion. 14/05/2026: I walked into this restaurant for the first time, and it was immediately a positive experience. It's a beautiful location, modern yet simple, clean, and meticulously maintained, with outdoor seating just steps from Playa beach. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. What struck me most was the owner's humility when describing her restaurant during the phone call to book a table. The food was exquisite, with generous first and second courses and side dishes, nothing to complain about. My compliments to the chef: XXL spaghetti with clams😋, dry and crispy fried calamari rings, and grilled fish (fresh), house wine, but also bottled wine upon request. The prices were truly fair, with complimentary coffee and a small discount. I forgot: the wait times for the dishes were short, thanks also to the waiters. 👌🏻😉 What can I say? I'm very satisfied. Well done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

26/07/2026: We were unable to share our experience at this restaurant. We waited outside for 10 minutes, with several servers passing by. None of them came to greet us. We finally called them over, only for them to tell us they couldn't seat us even though the restaurant wasn't full! I gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero! I strongly advise against going there! Judging by the owner's comment, perhaps he's the one who needs to control his anger. He doesn't know how to respond to negative comments without aggression. These responses should be constructive for improvement. Your server could have simply said, "We're fully booked, please consider making a reservation for next time," with a smile. Best of luck.

25/07/2026: Disappointed by our experience. We stood in front of the servers for about ten minutes without anyone even glancing at us or saying a word. After a while, we had to ask a server if it was still possible to have dinner. He simply shook his head and told us it wasn't, without a word. We completely understand that a restaurant can't accommodate a group of 10 people without a reservation. That wasn't what bothered us. What really disappointed us was the lack of consideration and the feeling of being completely ignored. A simple "good evening," a few words of explanation, and a smile would have been enough to make the situation much more pleasant. It's a shame, because the food looked very appetizing, and we came looking forward to discovering the establishment. I'm not in the habit of leaving negative reviews, but this experience really affected me. All customers deserve to be treated with respect, whether they have booked or not.

08/08/2026: I've been here several times over the years to eat excellent Trapani pizza. In the winter and spring months, it was easy to call and make a reservation. However, for about a week now, no one has answered.

28/06/2026: This is the best restaurant I've ever been to! Incredibly delicious and incredibly beautiful! A true culinary art! And the location is insanely beautiful. The restaurant is located on the grounds of a castle hotel with a park immersed in roses and olive trees! This place isn't just about the food; it's the atmosphere and charm of Sicily all in one place. If you don't have time to travel the island, just come here! It's a definite must-see and must-taste!

15/07/2026: A fantastic restaurant right at the beginning of the Corso. A beautiful courtyard with seating under a leafy pergola. We had the octopus carpaccio, the ravioli di pesce con ciliegino, polpa di granchio e prawnetti, and the linguine con bolognese di polpo. Everything is highly recommended and tasted amazing.

24/07/2026: I don't usually leave negative reviews, nor do I enjoy doing so. I chose this place based on the good reviews. A fish-based dinner for two: €43 per person, including a mixed fish appetizer, two grilled fish dishes, two side dishes, one water, and two coffees. I wouldn't have considered it excessive if the fish had been well-cooked and in sufficient quantity, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case (some pieces of fish in the grill were really tough and difficult to chew). Perhaps it would have been better if we had opted for a first course.

21/07/2026: Excellent restaurant for dinner in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto! The place is charming and elegant, the service super fast and attentive. The gentleman who recommended the wine was truly welcoming and friendly. I recommend the swordfish caponata and the deconstructed cannoli.

09/07/2026: Nestled on a street with steps, the lighting creates a charming atmosphere with many tiny lights that resemble an illuminated roof. Friendly staff. The highlight is the food, cooked according to tradition. The rabbit Nicastro style is delicious. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

The environment is clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with a very pleasant sea view. The seafood risotto was well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and a good creaminess. The fried calamari was dry and crispy, a sign of proper oil management. Attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. 25/09/2025: The food here was very creative and tasty. I had the "lasagna" which was layers of steak and vegetables with melted cheese on top and it was excellent. My wife had the gluten free pasta and that was also very good. One of the best meals we've had in our two weeks here in Sicily. Anil the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately there was hardly anyone there when we were there and the interior was a bit basic.

29/07/2026: The quality of the food and service was excellent. Among the dishes on the menu, I would recommend the prawns and spaghetti with bottarga and ricotta mousse, truly exceptional. The atmosphere was truly unique. Of the restaurants where we dined during our stay in Panarea, I would consider this place the best for its atmosphere and good food. Highly recommended!!!!!
