18/05/2025: I called for lunch for 4 seats including two children, the lady asked me inside or outside and I answered the same not knowing that inside it was very small having a stroller, apart from this as soon as we arrived more than one waiter made us sit outside because they were not busy, after which I think it was the owner and she told us no outside there are no seats I will put you inside and from the faces of the boys we understood that it was not true we went in and since he was small I repeated to her if something could be done and put a third boy outside she was about to check outside she immediately stopped him and said no outside. Okay we were sitting inside and I asked for the two seats for the children already asked on the phone and she said no I don't like these seats and referring to the older child she said you sit in the chair since you are big, after this we said goodbye. Nothing to say to the boys but she was very very rude!!!!!!!

01/06/2025: If you go early and the Chef has some time to spare, he may offer to serve you a Sicilian specialty dish (not on the menu). Just do it, you will not be disappointed! The best pizza we had in Sicily and not to forget the very friendly service. Highly recommended!

17/07/2025: Helaas viel dit restaurant erg tegen. Bij aankomst kregen we de menukaarten, maar vervolgens werden we 45 minuten volledig genegeerd. Pas na twee keer vragen — en zelfs dreigen dat we zouden vertrekken — kwam iemand eindelijk onze bestelling opnemen. Het voorgerecht was gelukkig erg lekker, al vergaten ze het brood dat erbij hoorde. Het hoofdgerecht stelde teleur: de portie was zó klein dat een kind er niet genoeg aan gehad zou hebben. De pizza was prima, maar ook niet bijzonder. Na het hoofdgerecht vroegen we om de dessertkaart, maar die is nooit gekomen. Uiteindelijk hebben we om de rekening gevraagd en zelfs die werd nooit gebracht. We zijn uiteindelijk zelf maar naar voren gelopen om af te rekenen. Al met al een teleurstellende ervaring: slechte service en matig eten met kleine porties. Geen aanrader.

17/07/2025: Unfortunately, this restaurant was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, we were given menus, but then completely ignored for 45 minutes. Only after asking twice—and even threatening to leave—did someone finally come and take our order. The starter was thankfully very tasty, although they forgot the bread that came with it. The main course was disappointing: the portion was so small that it wouldn't have been enough for a child. The pizza was fine, but nothing special. After the main course, we asked for the dessert menu, but it never arrived. Finally, we asked for the bill, and even that never arrived. We ended up having to go up to the counter ourselves. All in all, a disappointing experience: poor service and mediocre food with small portions. Not recommended.

22/06/2025: Nice place and friendly staff. I tried the penne with Sicilian pesto: nothing special and the pasta was sometimes overcooked and sometimes raw.

17/06/2025: I have had the pleasure of returning to *Luci e Calici* several times, and each time it has been an excellent experience. The last occasion was particularly special: my son's communion, an important event that we decided to celebrate here... and we couldn't have made a better choice. Refined food, authentic flavors, attentive and warm service: everything is perfect. But what makes this place truly unique is the atmosphere you breathe. The owners have the rare ability to make you feel at home, with discretion, professionalism and sincere kindness. Whether it's a special occasion or a dinner with friends, *Luci e Calici* always manages to leave its mark. A place to return to willingly, every time with the certainty of being welcomed and pampered. Highly recommended!

06/06/2025: I am not writing this review as a customer but as a worker because I worked for 1 month in this place as a dishwasher, a super negative experience, the chef named Luca is a terrible person, he thinks in his own way and if you have a problem he doesn't care, he kicks you out and doesn't want to know anything, so even if you have a fever of 40 or other types of unforeseen events you have to go to work, he is not an understanding person but the opposite and a person who only thinks about himself and at work you can even die, he doesn't care. So if you have to deal with this person, run away because you will have a bad time if you work there. Having said that, I am super happy to have left because in work there must be tranquility and respect which this individual absolutely does not have

15/06/2025: L'endroit est élégant, idyllique et apaisant. L'accueil sympathique. Les plats gastronomiques sont bons. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Propositions d'accord mets et vins. L'huile d'olive est dingue! Nous sommes repartis avec de l'huile d'olive et des bouteilles de vins de la région.

05/06/2025: If you are in the area, I cannot recommend the wine tasting enough! Barbara was so lovely and knowledgable and shared so much information about the vineyard and each of the wines. After the tour we tasted 4 of the wines and had some Sicilian Street food which was amazing! We loved the wine so much that we bought some to take home with us and also enjoyed a bottle or two in the terrace area. Gorgeous setting, lovely staff and brilliant wine!

You can taste the quality and attention to detail in every bite. The espresso at the end was the perfect finishing touch. Great service, relaxed atmosphere – a true highlight of our Italian vacation!
