I was there with a group of friends, only to eat, I wouldn't know about lodgings. Old building(s), like a fortified farm/manor, with a large interior courtyard and verdant generous surroundings. Kind of difficult to get there (which is maybe better), we stayed about 10 km away, so no big effort for us. Quiet, almost eerie atmosphere, very relaxing, maybe we spoiled some of it laughing loudly, because it felt so good. True (I like to think) sicillian country experience. Nobody among us complained about the food (which is a very rare situation !). It was very good , ok maybe a confusion between a medium-rare fiorentino and a medium entrecote. It didn't matter. The family-run inn is surrounded by nature, a wonderful and peaceful place. The 18th-century setting, enhanced by a beautiful fireplace inside, is charming and renovated respecting the authenticity of the structure. The owners are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. Excellent food.

We had lunch on New Year's Day at this charming restaurant, surrounded by nature and truly well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant was quaint and very welcoming, and the food was sublime. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.
