05/10/2025: A smile doesn't cost much; in fact, I'd say it's free. We've been to this restaurant before, and I can confirm the food is excellent, so 5 stars for the cuisine. I'm sorry we came at a time of mourning, given that the entire staff was involved.
We'll return, hoping for a welcome befitting a restaurant.
24/09/2025: Good restaurant in Palau, seafood-based cuisine, well-prepared and complete fish and seafood dishes. We ordered Burrata Salad and a grilled fish and seafood. Both dishes were very good and the quantity was good. Recommended.

30/11/2025: A restaurant right in the center of Alghero. We tried the seafood menu. The dishes were well-prepared and beautifully presented, and the fried fish was excellent. A special mention goes to the seadas, which were truly top-notch! We ordered two very good local wines. The staff were very kind, and they even offered us myrtle liqueur at the end of the meal. Highly recommended.
29/11/2025: A very pleasant atmosphere. The Pallea was delicious, and the suggested wine paired perfectly. I would highly recommend it.

16/10/2025: Lovely atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere. We had mussel soup as an appetizer and grilled sea bass and vegetables as a main course.
The food was excellent.
However, the total bill was a bit disappointing. The quality/price ratio was too low for the location and the outskirts of town.
14/10/2025: I stopped in for a quick lunch after reading the reviews. The welcome was warm and the place was nice. I ordered a seafood salad, completely tasteless and of questionable quality, and some roasted cuttlefish, which were neither good nor bad.

14/11/2025: The prices are exorbitantly high, typical of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The portion sizes are barely adequate. The quality and variety of the food are passable. The menu needs to be scaled down.
20/10/2025: A great little family restaurant with incredibly friendly hosts! Be sure to reserve a table in advance! We had the "Sardinian Menu" and were absolutely thrilled with the many delicious dishes. A wonderful atmosphere – definitely spend an evening there!

25/10/2025: Went for lunch today.
My wife had a grilled fish dish.
The fillet was dry, the cuttlefish was rubbery and difficult to cut, and the prawns had been pan-fried for too long. Only the tuna was okay.
I had pasta with mussels and bortaga. The sauce was well-balanced.
The restrooms couldn't be locked, and the hostess was very unfriendly.
Also, the cutlery was dirty and was replaced. Later, my coffee spoon was dirty, too.

Lo Chalet Alghero
16/11/2025: At the chalet, you can't go wrong...
A welcoming atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, but never intrusive.
A family lunch where everyone chose different dishes to try everything, and everything was excellent. The dishes are obligatory, so you can mop up the sauce with your mop of bread. The grouper rectangles and red shrimp with zucchini cream are particularly recommended, delicious. The culutgiones with lamb ragù and the fregula allo scoglio are also excellent.
Absolutely excellent value for money.
05/11/2025: What a disgrace! Despite Google Maps indicating it's open, it's unfortunately closed. Avoid places like this that can't tell you when they're open. The sign on the door says "closed only on Mondays." I had a beer there this afternoon, but the staff wasn't very attentive. They didn't even look up or around. Such a shame.

07/11/2025: We loved everything at Osteria Sa Bell'e Crabasa. We received a wonderful welcome even though we don't speak any Italian. Sign language works very well ;)
I adored my pasta alla vongole, which was absolutely delicious. The village is incredibly authentic; I really enjoyed it.
27/10/2025: From what we could gather, this restaurant is something of an institution in the Cabras area. The food we ate was truly remarkable; I especially loved their spaghetti with clams and bottarga.

06/09/2025: This is worth visiting when on holiday in Pula. We had twice dinner in one week and the taste and quality were superb. Instead of other reviews: the price is much better than at our nearby hotel.
Recommended and do try the homemade cheesecake for dessert!
06/09/2025: It was close to the hotel where we were staying, and we decided to try it. It has a lovely little terrace and a unique garden that gives it a magical feel. We ordered a sharing dish (fish carpaccio), very fresh and light, and then a pasta dish. I chose the Penne in Cream of Gamberi, and it was a hearty and flavorful dish. It was my choice to try something different.

20/10/2025: We had an excellent experience here; none of the criticisms mentioned in the reviews were accurate. Lovely ambiance, plenty of space, very friendly staff, all the food was of very high quality and delicious, the ice cream (especially the olive oil variety) was excellent, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. Absolutely well-deserved 5 stars!
