12/10/2025: The food was good – although it was served almost cold. However, we weren't served what we ordered at first. The restaurant is incredibly noisy and noisy, so the waiter might not have understood right away. A large flat-screen TV hangs on the wall, which contributes to many guests concentrating on it instead of talking. So, extremely uncomfortable!

12/10/2025: We were lucky to arrive at the right time, as the restaurant is very popular and always full. The table rotation is smooth and the staff is excellent! For us, it was pizza, excellent! Excellent evening

16/10/2025: Lovely atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere. We had mussel soup as an appetizer and grilled sea bass and vegetables as a main course. The food was excellent. However, the total bill was a bit disappointing. The quality/price ratio was too low for the location and the outskirts of town.

14/10/2025: I stopped in for a quick lunch after reading the reviews. The welcome was warm and the place was nice. I ordered a seafood salad, completely tasteless and of questionable quality, and some roasted cuttlefish, which were neither good nor bad.

06/09/2025: It was close to the hotel where we were staying, and we decided to try it. It has a lovely little terrace and a unique garden that gives it a magical feel. We ordered a sharing dish (fish carpaccio), very fresh and light, and then a pasta dish. I chose the Penne in Cream of Gamberi, and it was a hearty and flavorful dish. It was my choice to try something different.

06/09/2025: This is worth visiting when on holiday in Pula. We had twice dinner in one week and the taste and quality were superb. Instead of other reviews: the price is much better than at our nearby hotel. Recommended and do try the homemade cheesecake for dessert!

12/10/2025: A great hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are consistently courteous and excellent at their jobs. The parking lot is a few steps away and can be opened with the room card. We would definitely book there again. The only thing is that the €25 beach chair with a towel is a bit pricey.

05/09/2025: Opera Viva lets you discover the true flavors of the region. After a bad dining experience a few days earlier, we arrived with high expectations... and left completely satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was welcoming, although it was a bit too hot inside despite the ceiling fans. But the real stars were the dishes: generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared, a true delight for the palate. We recommend booking at least a day in advance to secure a table. The value for money is truly excellent.

I've always had a great experience, the staff is always extremely kind and helpful, the food is delicious, lunch and dinner times are respected to perfection, and the spaces are well-maintained and elegant. I highly recommend it.

29/09/2025: To get a sense of this dull canteen for the naive and well-intentioned, I suggest reading only the one- and two-star reviews and the related—embarrassing—comments from the owner! The owner claims to be convinced there's someone out to get him, and has been writing reviews against his establishment for years on various accounts. 😂 In our experience, we found ourselves paying (a lot) for more or less edible material disguised as sauces and spices, and almost everything was served strictly on very dark plates (who knows why...🤣). We ordered the most expensive menus but left everything (and still paid!!! 😤). For your safety, ask around before coming in here!

27/09/2025: I'm sorry, but it was a terrible experience. We received our appetizers after an hour and a half, and the main course after two and a half. Throughout the entire dinner (almost three hours), no staff member came to our table to apologize for the delay. In fact, when we went to the cashier to pay, we pointed out the long wait, and instead of apologizing, the waitress told us we should have expected it since it was Friday night. A ruined evening, and the bill was still high.

11/09/2025: I had such a pleasant evening at Babeuf: with the good company of local friends we tried some of their specials such as the octopus salad and the aubergines. Fresh and super yummy!

17/10/2025: Very good food and friendly waiters ☺️ We ordered an appetizer, two pasta dishes, two desserts, and specialty coffees, and everything was delicious! The staff is really very accommodating and quick. We had a toddler with us and felt comfortable the whole time ❤️ (In other restaurants, we weren't greeted warmly or, as tourists with a toddler, were even served lower). A heartfelt recommendation! ☺️

14/10/2025: We were very happy to have discovered this restaurant! Very friendly service – we had four different bruschettas for starters, followed by carbonara, which was excellent, and my husband had spaghetti with prawns, which was also very tasty! This was accompanied by a red house wine, which I highly recommend! Dessert was also a must – tiramisu and chocolate ice cream, all delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back for dinner!
