24/10/2025: We spent a total of seven days in Cala Gonone. Five of those days we visited this fantastic restaurant. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The food is of very high quality, and the service is friendly and welcoming. We felt very welcome and comfortable. The price and quality are absolutely excellent. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Sardinia.

22/10/2025: Hidden gem, stunning pizzas and plenty of local food options (including locally sourced seafood). Great choice of beers and wine. Fair prices - aligned with the quality of the food and the settings - and friendly staff (starting from Ettore, the owner and continuing with the waiters). Highly recommended.

08/06/2026: Very good Neapolitan pizza, very nice staff, fast service and the restaurant itself is also beautiful to look at.

10/07/2026: Everything you'd expect from a typical Sardinian restaurant. Delicious food (highly recommended: spaghetti with clams and bottarga), generous portions, and friendly staff. Fair prices, I always return whenever I can!

30/06/2026: Overpriced "Italian specialties" - we didn't enjoy anything, some dishes were downright bad (bitter/with a repulsive odor). They didn't have pizzas.

07/07/2026: Exceptional Basque tapas with a combination of ingredients that are enhanced from the first bite. The waiter was both professional and welcoming. I tried the Patxi frizz, a delicious and very fresh aperitif. This place in the historic center of Alghero, opposite the town hall, is an experience worth repeating over and over again. Top top top experience 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

15/07/2026: Amazing. I stopped by with my girlfriend for lunch while we were on vacation. The atmosphere was elegant, with soft music and a beautiful painting on the wall. The staff were extremely kind and professional, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

24/07/2026: We had a great experience at Ristorante Barbagia. The restaurant was busy, which is why I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. The staff were hardworking, friendly and very fast, always making sure everything was taken care of. We ordered the traditional Sardinian Porceddu (roast suckling pig), and it was juicy, tender and full of flavour. I also had the boar, and it was exceptional. The meat was incredibly soft, juicy and literally melted in my mouth. The potatoes served with the dishes were also excellent and perfectly cooked. We also tried the salmon pasta, which was delicious and full of flavour. One thing that really stood out was the portion sizes, which were very generous and definitely worth it. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Olbia. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent, but make sure to reserve a table in advance because the restaurant is almost always full.

09/06/2026: Fregula with seafood ragù, culurgiones (a type of pasta), octopus alla diavola (a type of octopus cooked in a spicy sauce), and chiusoni (a type of pasta cooked in a gallurese style). A good Vermentino, and the dinner exceeded expectations. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

16/10/2025: Lovely atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere. We had mussel soup as an appetizer and grilled sea bass and vegetables as a main course. The food was excellent. However, the total bill was a bit disappointing. The quality/price ratio was too low for the location and the outskirts of town.

14/10/2025: I stopped in for a quick lunch after reading the reviews. The welcome was warm and the place was nice. I ordered a seafood salad, completely tasteless and of questionable quality, and some roasted cuttlefish, which were neither good nor bad.

20/09/2025: A charming place, a little difficult to reach, especially at night as the roads aren't well-lit, but you get used to it. The hotel is well-maintained, in an elevated position that offers sweeping views of the coast and the hinterland. Breakfast features excellent local produce, including gluten-free options. The owner was incredibly kind, waiting for me until 2 a.m. due to a delayed ferry from Olbia. The rooms are clean and spacious. I hope to return; highly recommended for peace and quiet.

10/06/2025: We had lunch here after a visit to the caves. Great service and a good menu, we had grilled calamari and an octopus salad. Took great photos from the restaurant of the view.

12/06/2026: Sardinia is already wonderful, but this restaurant makes it even more special. Excellent cuisine, impeccable service, and a unique atmosphere. An experience I'll cherish forever and recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful island. I'll definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

02/07/2026: Delicious poke, cooked to order with fresh ingredients (which isn't a given, as this rarely happens on the continent). Classic Italian cuisine with fresh fish is also excellent. Recommended.

08/06/2026: Overall, a great experience. Everything we ordered was delicious (Machiavello appetizer, roasted pecorino, red shrimp linguine, tuna tataki, and crema catalana). The service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant (inside table, not very crowded). For two appetizers, one first course, one second course, one dessert, two waters, and two glasses of white wine, we spent €107. Prices are still high, but it's the best we've had so far in Alghero.

08/06/2026: I've had food poisoning for five days. It's a shame because the waiters were pleasant. I've had stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea for five days and it's still not going away.

30/06/2026: In one of the reviews for this restaurant, we read that it is one of the best restaurants those people were in ever. And after our experience, we agree with that. The fish was very tasty, one of the best I've had in my life. Kids were happy with their simple dishes, and the service was impeccable. Everyone was cheerful and accommodating. We'd gladly return.

28/06/2026: A true reference point for those who love good food. Extraordinary dishes, carefully presented and, above all, fresh; the grilled calamari is top notch!! The staff is extremely courteous and attentive. Welcoming atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness. Good value for money for the quality offered.

03/01/2026: We had dinner on January 2nd. Tuna tartare, baby octopus alla diavola, and braised polenta. Everything was excellent. The welcome was what you'd expect in places like this. Delicious desserts, and a friendly, attentive atmosphere. I'll be back.
