Great setting, great food service was a tad slow, even by Italian standards, but a great family run restaurant.

A beautiful place with delicious food! Reservations are recommended. The friendly owners speak Italian and German. We'd love to come back.

I'm revisiting my review from last year. We returned, but we weren't satisfied. The suckling pig cost €25... two pieces were dry, so we left it. The menu was misleading. We paid €18 for a cheese platter, €16 for a slightly disappointing meat platter. The service was very slow and clearly confused. The price of the glasses of wine was fair. The bill, €100 for two, was not reasonable. I wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent experience, perfect combination of taste, sight and aromas... excellent food, perfect welcome... we ate suckling pig... we'll be back tomorrow for dinner for fish... 10/10 for everything!

We had an amazing meal here. The food was so tasty and fresh, all typical Sardinian dishes. Also a very beautiful setting in a cute garden. Definitely a top meal we had while in Sardinia!

19/04/2026: Excellent food in a beautiful location. The ceviche, the fish in a salt crust, and the warm chocolate cake were absolutely delicious.
19/04/2026: I've eaten at Portolano several times in the past, and I must say I've always enjoyed it, even though the prices have always been higher than average. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case today. The "black ravioli" I ordered were definitely not the highlight of the day. Aside from the "quantity" (5 ravioli and 2 mussels), there was very little flavor. At €22.00 (basically €4 per ravioli and €1 per mussel), they were a disappointment. The tagliolini with cuttlefish and bottarga were definitely a better dish, as was the seadas. The mussel sauté wasn't particularly flavorful, but overall it was adequate. Overall, today the quality didn't match the price. I hope to find the same taste and quality as years ago next time.
