18/07/2026: This morning I returned to the pizzeria and found the guy who's been making pizzas for the past few Saturdays: truly excellent! The pizza was well-topped, cooked to perfection, and without any burnt edges. Kudos to him and the whole team, keep it up! 👏🍕

07/07/2026: Ingredients were very fresh, and service was good. However, a couple of issues: the fregole was cooked more like a risotto than a pasta, which was disappointing. Portions were fine for a fine dining setting.
The bigger issue: a kids’ plate with just 3 meatballs and fried potatoes was priced for €30 — we mentioned it and they reduced it to €26, but that’s still unacceptable for what it was. I don’t recommend this place for families with kids.

10/06/2026: Carefully prepared and refined cuisine, impeccable service, excellent wines, and traditional desserts. The mussel soup is exquisite and truly extraordinary, and the sea bass marinated in Vernaccia is excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

13/05/2026: And this is the second time we've had dinner there, everything was perfect, the waiters were good and well-prepared, the owner Antonello makes you feel welcomed, wanted and cared for as if you were at home, the service is impeccable, the menu is varied and complete, the dishes were delicious, the tuna tartare and the carpaccio were excellent like everything else, the place is super refined, thanks for everything, we will definitely be back.

23/07/2026: No need to book. Paid parking. Water is nice and clean. Long stretch of beach. Slowly deepening water. There is a snack bar and vendors.
23/07/2026: It's a long, sandy beach with clear water. It has paid parking, which costs €12 for the whole day. We were there just yesterday, and given the lack of other amenities, we were forced to eat at the only restaurant there. I recommend bringing your own lunch if you want to avoid being ripped off and spending a whopping €93 for three simple salads, a pasta dish with sauce, two half-bottles of water, and not to mention the €3.50 cover charge per person. Inexcusable folly.
Otherwise, I'd return just for the beach, but definitely with a packed lunch!

09/06/2026: We stumbled upon the L'Oasi restaurant by chance while strolling through Carloforte. We were looking for a selection of traditional dishes, but also original, and here we found them ☺️!
The octopus appetizer on a bed of flavored mashed potatoes was unforgettable: one of the best we've ever eaten.
For our first courses, we chose the Carlofortino pastry and a dish of the day: fregola with grouper. Spectacular. We finished with the tuna belly 🐟, which we really enjoyed. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff, as well as the elegant and original atmosphere, truly made the lunch perfect. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

05/08/2026: Having stumbled upon it by chance and feeling famished while waiting to check in at the hotel, we opted for a very quick meal: a salad and a caprese salad. No bread...just some toasted croutons in a small bowl (apparently bread and salad aren't an option), a medium beer, a bottle of water, and a coffee. All this was accompanied by a sporadic service from three waiters, one of whom didn't know what the other was doing, so much so that we had to push for every request. However, all of this was overlooked until the cone arrived (€40), which was indeed quite pricey for what we'd eaten.
05/08/2026: We visited this restaurant during our vacation in Tortoli. Excellent fresh fish, cooked to perfection! Excellent service. Recommended!

The dishes are excellent, prepared with high-quality local ingredients. The flavors are superb. Special mention goes to the young woman who served us throughout the dinner. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

10/07/2026: I don't usually write reviews, but after dinner at Opera Viva, I have to: the fregola we had was excellent; the grilled vegetables were great too, and the tiramisu was absolutely wonderful. It had been a long time since a meal had made me so happy. This place, seemingly unassuming and without any frills, but with top-notch cuisine, will stay with me forever.
08/07/2026: This place is a true Sardininian gem. Beautiful fresh fish, great local fresh pasta, and attentive service. One of the best restaurants I've been to in all of Italy in months of travelling.
