We went to Il Guscio for dinner and had a truly wonderful time. The dishes were excellent, the ingredients were top-quality, and the atmosphere was pleasant, making the evening even more enjoyable.
A special thanks to Alessandro, who gave us excellent advice throughout the dinner and was always kind, professional, and helpful. We particularly appreciated the attention he paid to my fiancée's food intolerances, making us feel so cared for.
Compliments to the entire staff for their service and the quality of their food. We will definitely be back!

Lovely location, but unfortunately the service was a bit rushed. I would have understood if the restaurant had been full, but "Il Gusto" was barely half full. We had barely arrived at our assigned table when the waiter was already trying to take our order, but we didn't even have a menu yet, and the QR code hadn't been scanned. We ordered a Caprese salad to share, which was served very quickly, and the drinks arrived almost simultaneously. As soon as we finished the salad, the plates were cleared away. Although we had agreed that we wanted a short break between the salad and the main course, the main course was served immediately. The wine, however, was served later. The two pasta dishes we ordered, on the other hand, were excellent. Dear staff, please, please don't be so stressed. After all, guests are on vacation, not in a hurry. It's nice that the service is a bit quick, but I want to enjoy myself in a relaxed atmosphere. Nevertheless, the service staff was very attentive and friendly. When we paid, we were also given a 20% discount voucher. Thank you so much.
Three days later at the same restaurant – what a difference!
We were welcomed like royalty and allowed to choose our own table. Once again, we were served by the same waiter: GianLuca, a very friendly young man who is innovative, eager to learn, and clearly passionate about his work. He knows his craft and practices it with heart and soul.
This time, the service was perfect and much more relaxed than three days prior. We were given a QR code and could leisurely peruse the food and drink menu. We actually already knew what we wanted to order, but we still took a look at the wine list before selecting our drinks.
GianLuca even remembered which red wine we had enjoyed three days earlier. Both wines were promptly and stylishly poured into our glasses at the table using a Centellino. We were then able to enjoy our drinks without any time pressure.
The Caprese salad was also served precisely at the time we requested. After the salad, we wanted to take another short break before the pasta was served – and this wish was, of course, respected.
The pasta was superbly prepared and just as impressive as the attentive service and pleasant atmosphere. Everything was perfectly coordinated and contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
The pasta, the service, and the ambiance all deserve top marks. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team – you're doing a fantastic job. Grazie mille!

Dinner for two. The place feels more like a trattoria than a restaurant, quiet, at the beginning of the main street of Baja Sardinia, with no view. We had spaghetti with clams and fusilli with porcini mushrooms, mussels, and a shrimp. A sea bream fillet for two that was flavorless. Two glasses of wine and a bottle of water for a total of €111!!!! Way overpriced considering we ate ordinary, dry pasta.

I've been coming to Il Guscio for years, and it's always a testament to my experience. I went back again last night and had a wonderful evening.
The food was excellent, the place was always welcoming, and the service was impeccable. We were looked after by several waiters, all very kind and professional. Special thanks to Simone, always available and attentive.
The dishes were carefully prepared, plentiful, and truly delicious, and the location remains one of the most beautiful in Baja Sardinia for a dinner with friends.
It's one of those restaurants you'll want to return to because you know you'll eat well and have a wonderful evening. I absolutely recommend it to anyone passing through Baja Sardinia! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
