29/09/2025: To get a sense of this dull canteen for the naive and well-intentioned, I suggest reading only the one- and two-star reviews and the related—embarrassing—comments from the owner! The owner claims to be convinced there's someone out to get him, and has been writing reviews against his establishment for years on various accounts. 😂 In our experience, we found ourselves paying (a lot) for more or less edible material disguised as sauces and spices, and almost everything was served strictly on very dark plates (who knows why...🤣). We ordered the most expensive menus but left everything (and still paid!!! 😤). For your safety, ask around before coming in here!

27/09/2025: I'm sorry, but it was a terrible experience. We received our appetizers after an hour and a half, and the main course after two and a half. Throughout the entire dinner (almost three hours), no staff member came to our table to apologize for the delay. In fact, when we went to the cashier to pay, we pointed out the long wait, and instead of apologizing, the waitress told us we should have expected it since it was Friday night. A ruined evening, and the bill was still high.

11/09/2025: I had such a pleasant evening at Babeuf: with the good company of local friends we tried some of their specials such as the octopus salad and the aubergines. Fresh and super yummy!

11/10/2025: A fantastic restaurant where we love to return to enjoy excellent seafood dishes and more. It's now our go-to place for dinner after a day at the beach. We're treated well and pampered here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always available to explain the dishes being served. Coming back is always a pleasure for the palate and the heart. 02/10/2025: A stunning sea view and excellent cuisine. From the fish to the meat, every dish is prepared with attention to detail. Everything is exceptional and beautifully balanced. The fried zucchini flowers and the tuna with caramelized eggplant are highly recommended.

14/09/2025: After waiting 10 minutes on the terrace with only 4 tables, some guys came over, sat down, and were immediately served. Of course, they were served before us, even though we'd been waiting so long! Outraged, we got up and left!!

12/10/2025: We had actually considered eating here after our visit to the beach. However, I had the nerve to ask a waiter at the restaurant if there was a public restroom near the beach. The answer I received was that it was a restaurant, not a restroom. It was very disgusting to be treated like that. Thank you for nothing, so we found another restaurant.

10/10/2025: My wife and I spent an incredible dinner, tasting few of their dishes. The must try is Fregola with fresh mushrooms and shrimps. The atmosphere was lovely and unique. I highly recommend this place!

20/10/2025: We had an excellent experience here; none of the criticisms mentioned in the reviews were accurate. Lovely ambiance, plenty of space, very friendly staff, all the food was of very high quality and delicious, the ice cream (especially the olive oil variety) was excellent, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. Absolutely well-deserved 5 stars!

15/10/2025: Platter with a single slice of cheese cut into 3 pieces and 6 slices of various cold cuts, including ham and loin, I believe. Price: 14 euros, rounded up to 15 on the receipt. They should improve the platter. I think 14 euros for a slice of cheese cut into 3 pieces and 6 slices of cold cuts was fair. But I'm glad the only thing you have to say is about the 2 euro increase. The problem isn't the price, but the mockery. One expects to come to your country and eat well with honest portions, but we found very little honesty.
