03/06/2026: Super quiet hotel, situated in a lovely garden with greenery, trees, cacti, a small pond, a massage area, and a jacuzzi. The room was cool, spacious, and functional, with a chair and table outside overlooking the shaded courtyard. The breakfast was excellent and very generous, and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended.

31/05/2026: Very quiet hotel, very kind and helpful staff and managers, excellent food, comfortable rooms. Parking is excellent. You couldn't ask for anything better.

13/05/2026: Was recommended this place. Food was amazing and all freshly done to our tastes. Owner/chef was very attentive. Waiting staff was perfect pacing everything perfectly. Their own special olive oil was to die for.

14/08/2026: A fantastic discovery in Sassari! We had a wonderful time at Montecristo. The welcome was truly warm, friendly, and attentive. We received excellent advice on discovering traditional Sardinian dishes, and it was a real treat for our taste buds! 🇮🇹❤️ We were so captivated by the experience that we returned a second time to try other dishes on the menu… and we weren't disappointed! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to discover authentic, flavorful, and generous cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. Well done to the entire Montecristo team, and thank you for these two excellent meals! 👏

18/08/2026: The place was incredible, we loved it and the service was amazing, the waiters and waitresses were so friendly. We ordered the traditional pork dish in advance when we made our reservation, and we also ordered a selection of traditional cheeses there, and for dessert, a cheesecake with honey. Everything was delicious, though, to be a bit critical... the cheesecake wasn't bad, but... I think we could have found something better...

06/08/2026: We went in and it said "air conditioned." It was unbearable to stay inside in the constant 40 degrees. We waited 1.5 hours for our dishes after several errors. Some of the food was good, others were too much to stomach. We'll never go back.

17/05/2026: We ate there two evenings in a row. One time paella, which was delicious. The other evening meat, pizza, and calamari. It was delicious both evenings. They also have incredibly good wines on the menu. The service was good too.

13/05/2026: A truly delightful experience in Alghero! I went there during a sports trip and was very satisfied. I ate the culurgiones and found them delicious, flavorful, and truly well-made. The service was also impeccable; the staff were helpful, attentive, and extremely kind throughout. The atmosphere is welcoming and makes you want to return. The only downside is the nearby parking, which isn't the easiest to find, but otherwise, everything was excellent!

19/08/2026: We truly discovered it by accident! We ordered three pizzas and they arrived in no time: excellent dough and a perfectly made sauce, truly delicious. The location is fantastic, well-kept and very pleasant (the tractor was a real highlight, a must-have souvenir photo!). The welcome and service were impeccable. We'll definitely be back!

11/01/2026: A café that truly thrives as a bar and is a delight. The exceptionally friendly bartender immediately stands out – you can tell he's genuinely passionate about his work. Always welcoming and attentive, he greets every new guest with a heartfelt smile. This is precisely why we kept coming back. An Aperol Spritz or another aperitif on the small terrace is the perfect place to watch the world go by. We also loved coming in for a beer, accompanied by a delicious platter of cold cuts and cheeses, prepared entirely to our liking. The photos speak for themselves. With staff like this and such high-quality platters, they're clearly on the road to success. A café that lives primarily as a bar and captivates from the very first moment. Colpisce in particolare il barman, straordinariamente gentile: si percepisce immediately che svolge il suo lavoro con vera passione. Semper sorridente and attento, accoglie or nuovo ospite con un sorriso sincero. It is a proprio that is the motivation for this tornati più volte in this locale. An aperol or another aperitivo in the zone of the piccola terrazza is ideal for eating the vivace passaggio delle persone. Ci fermavamo volentieri also per una birra, accompagnata da una deliziosa tagliere, prepare and volta secondo the nostre preferenze personali. Le photo parlano da sole. With a single staff and with a quality that is elevated to the proposte, the success is extremely worthwhile.

04/08/2026: On Sunday evening, we went to this lovely outdoor restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters were very friendly and helpful, especially Emanuele, who served us during our stay that evening. We had an "octopus" pizza as an appetizer to share, which was very good and light. A "gourmet" risotto was very flavorful yet delicate, and the pasta with clams and bottarga was delicious, with a hint of bottarga flavor. We also had two desserts: a "alternative" tiramisu, which was good but nothing special, and the other, a "fragrant" chocolate tart, which was very hard and chewy. Overall, it was a lovely evening. We spent €150, but with the 30% discount on dishes with The Fork, it was €115.

02/08/2026: I would have really liked to give a better rating to one of the few places on the Costa Smeralda that offers gluten-free options safe for celiacs. Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by service that I found decidedly unprofessional. As soon as we were seated, the waiter (I think his name was Paolo) asked us if we were ready to order. I told him I was still choosing the wine and politely asked for a couple of minutes. His response was, "Oh, indeed, I've never seen a woman choose so quickly." A joke that I found out of place and based on a stereotype. Shortly afterward, he asked if my boyfriend would also drink wine. When he said no, he made further jokes about him having to drive, culminating in, "It's not enough that we have to put up with them; we can't even drink because we have to drive." This comment also seemed decidedly inappropriate. In a place of this caliber, with a €6 cover charge and an international clientele, I expect friendly and professional service, not sexist jokes or stereotypes aimed at customers. We chose not to respond to the provocations and enjoy the dinner anyway, but it was an experience that left a very negative impression on us.
