14/08/2026: A fantastic discovery in Sassari! We had a wonderful time at Montecristo. The welcome was truly warm, friendly, and attentive. We received excellent advice on discovering traditional Sardinian dishes, and it was a real treat for our taste buds! 🇮🇹❤️ We were so captivated by the experience that we returned a second time to try other dishes on the menu… and we weren't disappointed! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to discover authentic, flavorful, and generous cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. Well done to the entire Montecristo team, and thank you for these two excellent meals! 👏

11/08/2026: Terrible dinner, limited seafood selection, only frozen mussels, clams, and shrimp sold at exorbitant prices for the quality. Most of the menu isn't even available for ordering because they don't have any fish replacements. The shellfish were brought raw, causing severe stomach and intestinal problems for me and the others at the table. Disgraceful service, the waiters don't want to work and leave you waiting forever just to ask for the menu or a bottle of water. The place is nice, but it looks like a house converted into a restaurant. There's no parking nearby, so it's not even accessible for people with disabilities. I don't understand how it has a 4.3 rating. It looks like a nightmare kitchen; they don't even know how to cook the (packaged) pasta correctly, which they sell you as fresh at an exorbitant price.

11/08/2026: Inedible food, terrible service, and not even a discount. The evening began in a very nice and charming place, I must say, with a lot of people, but no parking. A waiter in his 60s arrived and kept telling us to wait (we were simply asking for the menu after arriving 20 minutes earlier). He proceeded with the order, telling us that some dishes on the menu were unavailable. Oh well, let's overlook it. He forgot to send the order to the kitchen, and after 40 minutes, another waiter arrived to apologize, telling us that due to the inconvenience, we would have to wait even longer. The mussels arrived RAW and tasted rancid, inedible. Subsequently, this same older waiter threw a whole glass of wine, fortunately white, at my boyfriend, reaching into the glass to get it back (we were not brought new wine or a clean glass). We get to the starters and have to send back the spaghetti allo scoglio because it's completely undercooked (even the waiters noticed how raw it was)—at least a good 5 minutes late, and most importantly, it's not homemade, as you'd expect for such a price. We arrive at the checkout on an empty stomach and with a full bill to pay without even a slight discount, not even 5 euros for laundry. Luckily, the uneaten pasta wasn't added to our bill, otherwise I would have snapped, but they must have seen we were young and taken advantage of us, making us have a terrible evening. Don't trust the 4.3 reviews; only foreigners go there. The only positive point is the two young waiters who tried to apologize and remedy the situation.

ATV, horseback, bike, and trekking excursions are available, tailored to your needs. You'll understand the soul of Belví. All this is complemented by a wonderful, friendly, professional, and kind welcome. Exceptional.

18/08/2026: The place was incredible, we loved it and the service was amazing, the waiters and waitresses were so friendly. We ordered the traditional pork dish in advance when we made our reservation, and we also ordered a selection of traditional cheeses there, and for dessert, a cheesecake with honey. Everything was delicious, though, to be a bit critical... the cheesecake wasn't bad, but... I think we could have found something better...

06/08/2026: We went in and it said "air conditioned." It was unbearable to stay inside in the constant 40 degrees. We waited 1.5 hours for our dishes after several errors. Some of the food was good, others were too much to stomach. We'll never go back.

Maybe it was a bad day! 😅 I was there yesterday and I have to say I ate very well, the staff is kind and knowledgeable (a very nice guy gave us a description of the wine we chose) I confirm the spaghetti with squid ink, excellent! The fried food was perfect, I'll be happy to go back! A greeting also to that young waitress who entertained us from time to time with her funny jokes, see you soon! 😘😘😘😘

31/03/2026: The accommodation we reserved is nestled in a beautiful cork oak forest. Our accommodation included a small hallway, a bathroom, and a spacious double bedroom equipped with a heat pump. Since it's a particularly cold time of year, we requested an extra duvet for the bed, which was brought to us immediately. The room's furnishings are simple and in Sardinian style. The bathroom is modern. I would suggest a small shelf for the bathroom to comfortably place toiletries and possibly a heater to warm the bathroom, which, compared to the rest of the accommodation, stays colder due to the lack of a direct heat pump. The breakfast served to us consisted of sweet and savory options. Everything was delicious. The very kind and hospitable owners told us that the property will soon become a spa, as it already boasts a beautiful pool and will likely be open year-round next year. It's an excellent place to detox from the chaos of the city.

19/08/2026: We truly discovered it by accident! We ordered three pizzas and they arrived in no time: excellent dough and a perfectly made sauce, truly delicious. The location is fantastic, well-kept and very pleasant (the tractor was a real highlight, a must-have souvenir photo!). The welcome and service were impeccable. We'll definitely be back!

This ancient Genoese dish (which, according to tradition, was created upon the return from the Battle of Meloria) finds its culinary expression here. In this deliberately simple yet tidy and spotlessly clean restaurant, faine' takes center stage. In addition to this renowned specialty, you can also enjoy homemade desserts prepared with care and passion. Qualified and friendly staff and an exceptional owner make all the difference. Highly recommended.

31/03/2026: A very simple but truly satisfying dinner! The faine was excellent and the portions generous (neither of us finished our portion, so they let us take the rest home). The waiters were friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. We'll definitely be back if we're in Sassari again!

05/04/2026: A very pleasant restaurant. The owner is welcoming and attentive to customers. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly. We wish we could find establishments like this more often. It's regrettable to have people at the next table who leave such a terrible review. It would be wise to sometimes rate customers!

04/08/2026: On Sunday evening, we went to this lovely outdoor restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters were very friendly and helpful, especially Emanuele, who served us during our stay that evening. We had an "octopus" pizza as an appetizer to share, which was very good and light. A "gourmet" risotto was very flavorful yet delicate, and the pasta with clams and bottarga was delicious, with a hint of bottarga flavor. We also had two desserts: a "alternative" tiramisu, which was good but nothing special, and the other, a "fragrant" chocolate tart, which was very hard and chewy. Overall, it was a lovely evening. We spent €150, but with the 30% discount on dishes with The Fork, it was €115.

02/08/2026: I would have really liked to give a better rating to one of the few places on the Costa Smeralda that offers gluten-free options safe for celiacs. Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by service that I found decidedly unprofessional. As soon as we were seated, the waiter (I think his name was Paolo) asked us if we were ready to order. I told him I was still choosing the wine and politely asked for a couple of minutes. His response was, "Oh, indeed, I've never seen a woman choose so quickly." A joke that I found out of place and based on a stereotype. Shortly afterward, he asked if my boyfriend would also drink wine. When he said no, he made further jokes about him having to drive, culminating in, "It's not enough that we have to put up with them; we can't even drink because we have to drive." This comment also seemed decidedly inappropriate. In a place of this caliber, with a €6 cover charge and an international clientele, I expect friendly and professional service, not sexist jokes or stereotypes aimed at customers. We chose not to respond to the provocations and enjoy the dinner anyway, but it was an experience that left a very negative impression on us.
