11/08/2026: Outstanding experience! Honestly 11/10!!!! The food was fantastic. The menu is focused and well thought out, with extremely fresh ingredients, and every dish was excellent, from the simplest preparations to the more elaborate ones. Nothing felt unnecessary; everything was done with care. The service was just as impressive. The waiters were always kind, attentive and genuinely able to read the table, knowing when to engage and when to give you space. That made the whole experience feel effortless and very personal. The location is also beautiful and charming, both inside and outside, with a really pleasant atmosphere. Considering the quality of the food, service and overall experience, the price was absolutely fair. One of those rare places where everything simply works. I genuinely wish I could eat here every day. Highly recommended.

25/07/2026: Good morning, we went for lunch after touring the beauties of Monte Sant'Angelo.... The restaurant is in the historic center, small, clean and tidy..... We ate well, the local appetizer was average and the quality/price ratio was in line with other restaurants in the area.... Quick service, friendly staff....

12/07/2026: Enchanting evening, wonderful place surrounded by greenery, in the heart of Salento. We had a divine dinner, from the raw fish appetizer to the fish main courses, and finally an excellent semifreddo. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🫶🏻

21/08/2026: Arriving at 7:50 PM on Thursday, we entered and there was no one to welcome customers. We saw a figure serving a single table. After a few minutes, we looked out. We didn't have a reservation (2 people). We were told there was no room. We left and ate at the restaurant next door (SUPERLATIVE). Leaving about an hour later, we noticed that many tables were still empty. I come from the restaurant industry and when two people arrive early, they NEVER leave because serving them takes a moment; you just have to be on top of things.

19/08/2026: I was at this restaurant last night. Initially, I read the name "osteria" (from the word "tavern" and the fair price and quality), but inside, I found myself in a seemingly upscale restaurant. The menu was very limited, with little choice, and the prices weren't exactly those of a tavern. I was also very disappointed by the quality of the food and the flavors, which were far from what I'd expected from the menu. It's a shame, however, that the restaurant is very beautiful, thanks to its garden. I wouldn't recommend it.

12/08/2026: A must-try for meat lovers! Originally a butcher shop, it transformed into a restaurant a few years ago. Fantastic local specialties at fair prices, super-fast and friendly service. Besides the Bombette (a type of sausage), they have an impressive selection of dry-aged hams. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy at times, as you sit outside in a large market square with many other restaurants. But the food makes it all worthwhile. 😃

09/08/2026: For meat lovers, this is the place to be. There's a wide selection inside the restaurant; you choose your favorite cut and return to your table, where it's served grilled shortly after. The only downside is the very limited appetizers and limited selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend making a reservation; it's always in high demand. Definitely worth a try!
