01/12/2025: It's a real experience! Donato truly knows how to inspire. Every time my wife and I go there, he's always ready to amaze. The homemade bread, the many interesting options, the work behind each dish...everything is top-notch! The sisters serving are also top-notch, especially Domenica! A must-try! PS: He pays close attention to intolerances and allergies, so highly recommended from that perspective too!

27/09/2025: It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place for a wonderful dinner. The food itself – mainly fish and seafood – is truly excellent, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The freshly baked, delicious bread is also a real highlight. Add to that the fantastic atmosphere and the attentive service, and you'll have a truly unforgettable experience. But the tables with your feet in the sand are the icing on the cake. We'd love to come back! Grazie mille!

25/09/2025: Dinner for two on the veranda overlooking the beach. We chose the tasting menu and were very pleased with the fresh ingredients and excellent preparation.

02/12/2025: It's true that quality comes at a price, but a price adjustment would allow the establishment to achieve a five-star rating with honors. Otherwise, the dishes are impeccable, the ingredients and their preparation are excellent, and the service staff are impeccable and extremely kind. But, I repeat, it's a bit overpriced, starting with a cover charge of a whopping €3.50 per person.

02/12/2025: Everything was fine here at this cute bistro until the bill arrived. Being charged 27€ for one small piece of cake and 2 glasses of house wine - both of which were, of course, not on the menu, made me feel a bit cheated. We will not return - as was probably expected.

23/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant, and despite some positive expectations, the experience fell short. When ordering, we were advised to add appetizers because the kitchen would have a 40-minute wait for the entrees. I found this advice inappropriate, especially since I don't order appetizers simply because I don't feel like it. The three of us ordered three first courses, two second courses to share, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, and three coffees. The quality of the dishes was good, but nothing that justified some shady choices. The most unpleasant thing was finding a bottle of water on the bill for €9. A completely unfair price, which I honestly consider exaggerated, not to mention downright robbery.

05/11/2025: We were in Gallipoli on a tour of Sardinia and had dinner at this typical restaurant. Everything was delicious, and we had excellent service. I recommend everyone visit Gallipoli and stop at this truly interesting restaurant.

20/10/2025: We visited Rubino restaurant in Gallipoli while trekking in Salento; it's an excellent place for a seafood dinner. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, suitable for both couples and friends. The seafood is fresh, well-cooked, and carefully presented. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'd say it's a solid choice for quality seafood in the city.

16/10/2025: An excellent discovery! While passing through the region, we preferred to travel a few kilometers to get away from the coast, and we did well! An excellent discovery; we were very well received and the food is delicious; the dishes are homemade and tasty! Bravo! Don't hesitate to travel a few kilometers into the Santa Cesarea countryside for a treat!

15/10/2025: I always return to Rocci with great pleasure. The dining room service is perfect. The chef often asks diners how he can satisfy their needs while always achieving the highest quality in his dishes. Since I come regularly, however, I find the dishes need a bit of innovation. Even cyclically, they could use updating or revisiting (I hope this is constructive criticism). Prices, alas, are a little above average.

30/11/2025: It was one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives. Unique. We've never walked into a restaurant and immediately felt at home. With a table laden with dishes that already looked delicious, welcomed with open arms by the host while he prepared your dinner in the wonderful open kitchen. Everything was excellent. From the appetizers, to the strictly handmade pasta with ragù, to the meat, to the house wine, to the spectacular tarallucci. Everything was locally sourced. A round of applause to the host and the promise to see you again very soon. You are an exceptional person.

19/10/2025: We are staying not far from Donna Maria and were looking for something nice for dinner. We found just what we were looking for. The bread seems to be a house made loaf which is a pleasant change from some who just drop some rando bread in a basket on the table. This bread is good quality. We began with beef carppacio which was delicious, especially the olive paste which provided a natural salty component. My wife had gnocchi with lamb ragu and I enjoyed the mezzi ziti with a rich beef sauce. Both just wonderful dishes. Especially with Negroamaro to pair with. We finished with a Crema di ricotta pugliese dessert that's a regional favorite. It was a wonderful meal and the staff were professional and friendly.

26/11/2025: What can I say... The quality of the food is truly excellent... The service is quite slow... only one person serving... The prices are quite high for the small quantity of food... Would NOT return.

23/11/2025: Seafood restaurant located in the old town of Taranto. The atmosphere is truly lovely, the staff is polite and very helpful. The only flaw... the food: the mixed appetizers, six courses for €20, weren't exactly impressive. The only noteworthy dish, in terms of flavor, was the gratinated mussels (unfortunately, the mussels were really small and not very full). The baked sea bass was much better. Taste, as we know, is subjective, but I expect much more from a seafood restaurant in Taranto.

18/11/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant with friends on a trip. The food was very good, and the staff showed incredible care and attention to us. The dishes were varied and of high quality. I enjoyed an excellent vegan menu that completely satisfied me. The staff was very friendly and attentive to every request. The service was excellent, and the chef and owner of the restaurant prepared delicious and impressive dishes. I will gladly return.
