16/10/2025: I had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant. We arrived right at 7:30 PM when it just opened, on a very cold evening. We were the first customers of the night, and the restaurant was completely empty inside. However, when we asked for a table, the waitress told us that only outdoor seating was available — even though there were plenty of empty tables indoors. After leaving, we checked online and saw that there were still many open tables available at that time. As Asian customers, it was very hard not to feel that we were treated differently because of our race. Being denied indoor seating while the restaurant clearly had space felt humiliating and discriminatory. This is not just poor service — it is racism. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and should not happen anywhere. I truly hope the management takes this seriously and ensures no one else has to experience such racist treatment again.

11/10/2025: A surprising food and wine journey into the heart of Puglia in Fasano. As a winemaker and food and wine expert, I'm rarely so impressed by a dining experience in the area. At the Ardecuore Restaurant, I had a simply impeccable evening, where every detail was attended to with passion and expertise. The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite: clear, authentic flavors, never masked, but enhanced by a cuisine that respects and elevates each ingredient. The appetizer menu was a crescendo of balance and creativity, while two dishes in particular won me over: a rare elegance and balance of spaghetti with white truffle and a perfectly executed Pigeon Reale, intense, evocative (with an exceptional carob sauce), and juicy. Paired with a 2017 Le Braci, an absolute icon of Puglia's winemaking tradition, served at the perfect temperature and complemented by a surprising wine list that showcases a Puglia beyond the usual clichés, with bold and highly valuable choices. Honorable mention goes to the spirits list, a true gem for enthusiasts and connoisseurs: not everyone has a Caroni on the list, and that speaks volumes about the research and expertise that permeates this place. Ardecuore is more than just a restaurant: it's a place where passion for flavor blends with a love of hospitality. I will return soon and often. Sincere compliments to all the staff and to Vito for how they welcomed us and made us feel at home.

12/10/2025: I had lunch with my family at this restaurant in Polignano, located just steps from the town square, on the recommendation of a local friend. As soon as I left, I called to thank him for the recommendation. The restaurant is welcoming and clean, the owner, who is also a handyman, is friendly, unpretentious, and never intrusive. Above all, the portions are generous and of the highest quality! The seafood cavatelli, in particular, prepared by the owner's mother, were spectacular! I know for sure that when we return to beautiful Polignano, we'll have no doubts, despite the fierce competition, about where to have lunch! Oh, and I almost forgot...the prices are fair, which further enhance the overall impression, which is overwhelmingly positive! Congratulations!

A wide selection of wines is available. The cuisine is top-notch, using high-quality ingredients. The price is in line with the offerings. Recommended.

07/10/2025: I chose to have my son's baptism yesterday, October 5th, so I want to review and say that the stars highlighted here for the review are not enough, along with another 1000 words, to describe the beauty of this place. Impeccable service thanks to the owner who, from the beginning of the party to the end, is ready to go up and down between the dining room and the kitchen to keep everything under control and make the employees run smoothly. Pasqua and Antonio are fantastic people, the quality of the food is too high. TOO HIGH.

04/10/2025: Incredibly friendly and service-oriented staff, very keen to ensure we had a good experience. The food was very good, but on the more expensive side and (compared to other restaurants in the area) small portions. However, the taste was incredible, and outweighed the quantity of food.

18/09/2025: Excellent dinner! The veal ribs melted in your mouth, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The creamy scampi casseroles were simply extraordinary: delicate, creamy, unforgettable. 28/10/2025: *An unforgettable evening at Locanda del Maniscalco!* The food was the true star of the evening: authentic dishes, intense flavors, and impeccable presentation. The desserts, made directly by the inn, were exquisite and a fitting end to an excellent dinner. The staff was extremely kind and professional, from the telephone reservation to the welcome at the table. The waiters listed the dishes with passion and expertise, making the choice even more enjoyable. The location is unique and charming, located in the heart of Mattinata's historic center. The covered terrace, enclosed by glass windows, made for a warm and welcoming evening, despite the weather outside being less than ideal. Special highlights: the local scaldatelli, the delicious olives, the chilled sparkling water, and the impeccable presentation of the dishes. A place I highly recommend and will definitely return to. 09/12/2025: Terrific place with all the delicious staples. Various salads, meats, pastas, second plates. Great beer selection and lots of Puglia wines. Comfortable interior with enclosed, heated patio lets you look out at the foot traffic in the square. Reasonable prices. I feared a tourist trap because of the location, but no, it was a solid choice right at the edge of old town, with many locals stopping in too

07/12/2025: It's hard to say... After sitting at a table for 20 minutes and waiting for the waitress (who had already brought us our menus and a box of drinks), we were told we could only order sandwiches and drinks because it was too busy.

08/12/2025: "Warm broth for the soul." A sublime experience.

02/12/2025: At Scinuà, if you come in hungry, you leave hungry. Experience: for two, one orders macaroni with white pork ragù (hard macaroni, a meager amount), the other braised beef with vegetables (the waitress mentions chicory when ordering, and upon arrival, unannounced, there are sparse white cabbage florets, with three slices, max 100 grams, of meat... Want to save on meat? At least give me more cabbage)! The bread? Not soft! We proceed with profiteroles with cream, not dairy, for one, and panna cotta with fig vincotto that overpowers the flavor of the panna cotta for the other. A glass of wine, a bottle of water. The bill: €57 STOLEN! This is compounded by the rudeness of the lady who served us and prepared the bill. When we told her that this wasn't the restaurant for us given the type of service we'd seen at other tables (microscopic portions of everything), she replied that she hoped never to see us again.

29/11/2025: We had the opportunity to dine here for my birthday. The dinner was a true experience, featuring home-style flavors and local specialties reimagined with a modern twist. The bread was homemade and left to rise for 24 hours: amazing! The atmosphere was super welcoming and clean, and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were also really fair. Finally, they even brought us some small sweet treats for my birthday. Highly recommended.

23/11/2025: We had very high expectations, but not that high. We let the restaurant manager guide us and advise us, and he immediately understood our tastes and culinary needs. I have no words to describe the culinary experience we had; everything was simply perfect. The staff was super kind and knowledgeable. The grand finale was the desserts. Something superlative; I've never had a tiramisu revisited like this. See you soon.
