28/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo piccolo posto dopo un giretto a Monopoli. Da fuori non si direbbe, ma mangiarci ne vale veramente la pena. La signora che ci ha accolto, vedendoci con 3 figli, ha chiesto cortesemente a dei signori seduti all'ombra e che avevano quasi finito se poteva spostarli in un posto più verso il sole per farci accomodare. Poi è stata molto gentile a consigliare ai bambini cosa prendere. Io e mia moglie abbiamo preso un tagliere misto (enorme) che presentava molti prodotti tipici, da salumi a formaggi, il tutto accompagnato dalla puccia pugliese. Il conto più che accettabile. BRAVISSIMI

27/07/2024: Il ristorante è situato in un bel posto e dispone di un comodo parcheggio. La cucina utilizza ingredienti di qualità, tuttavia il servizio lascia molto a desiderare. Abbiamo prenotato in anticipo e, appena arrivati, ci è stato chiesto di accomodarci ad un tavolo le cui sedie erano ancora appoggiate. Le abbiamo sistemate noi stessi e ci siamo seduti. Purtroppo, il tavolo era posizionato molto vicino ad una siepe e ad un ombrellone. Alcuni rami della siepe puntavano direttamente contro la mia schiena, mentre la base dell'ombrellone dava fastidio a mia moglie. Abbiamo chiesto di poter cambiare posto, ma ci è stato risposto che non era possibile. Abbiamo cercato di arrangiarci spostando un po' il tavolo, ma i camerieri, contrariati, ci hanno servito facendo commenti una volta girate le spalle al nostro tavolo. Inoltre, il personale non ha spiegato i piatti, un dettaglio che avrebbe migliorato l'esperienza complessiva. Sebbene la cucina sia solida e gli ingredienti di qualità, il servizio scadente ci ha lasciati delusi. Non torneremo e non lo consigliamo.

24/08/2024: What a show. Trust the courtesy and education of these restaurateurs and savor excellent first courses. Excellent tubette with mussels and seafood risotto (farm). Oh I almost forgot. Before leaving, don't forget to taste fior di latte ice cream. Don't hesitate

27/08/2024: Last Saturday, during the visit to the G7 exhibition at the Norman Swabian castle of Mesagne, we had lunch in this restaurant. Spaghettomi with lobster and flaky ice cream. Everything beyond expectations. The freshness and quality of the ingredients, the taste, their presentation, the discreet, efficient, impeccable service, the welcoming environment, made this experience pleasant. Definitely recommended, also for the excellent value for money. Thanks to all the staff.

17/07/2024: We had dinner at this grill restaurant, and I must say that the food was really good and the value for money was also truly excellent. Service present, courteous and kind, always present going around the tables asking if anything was missing and if we would like anything else. It is an ideal spot to have a toast dinner and want to eat excellent quality meat At the entrance there is a refrigerated counter where you have the possibility to choose the various types of meat you like and then they will be served to you later at the table. Super recommended

08/08/2024: We stayed and I must say that everything was EXCELLENT. Food, service and staff. Bread should be a UNESCO heritage site. Truly unique flavors and well prepared.

04/08/2024: Nous avions réservé 2 jours avant pour une table extérieure à 20h. Le Jour J, nous arrivons avec 5 minutes de retard et plus aucune table extérieure n'est disponible. Seulement 2 tables de 2 à l'extérieur sont mis en place. Le patron va vérifier la réservation, s'excuse et nous propose une table à l'intérieur, pile dans le passage du restaurant. Evidemment, nous refusons. Le propriétaire nous propose de revenir dans 30 minutes. Les deux tables de 2 venaient d'être occupées. Personne ne finit son repas en 30 minutes. Ce restaurant n'a rien a faire des clients puisque Monopoli est une ville de passage, pour touristes qui ne resteront pas de toute manière dans la ville. Ce n'est pas une raison pour ne pas être professionnel.

10/08/2024: The stay got off to a bad start when at 10 a.m. we were called to tell us that there was a problem with the room even though we had booked for months. Big bout of stress which was quickly resolved. However, I remain skeptical about our room which was not the one we had chosen. A little disappointed. There are a few points to improve. The air conditioning is too noisy. Apart from the air conditioning, there is machine noise day and night. The fridge is not cold enough. The toilet is not practical with the shower stuck to it. The room remains spacious and pleasant. Small private terrace in front. Nothing to say about the services offered really at the top. lingerie restaurant swimming pool. Everything was perfect. The staff very helpful and pleasant. A little extra for the very kind breakfast staff. Despite everything, I recommend this place which remains very pleasant and quiet in a small village 4km from Otranto.

23/07/2024: What about a restaurant reported by the Michelin Guide. It speaks for itself. You just have to book, sit down and order... THE RAW FISH. Gilardot oysters, king langoustines, prawns, and ladies and gentlemen...his majesty the sea urchins. Never eaten raw fish like this. The scampi were delicious and gigantic, the oysters very fresh...but the sea urchins....my lords, the sea urchins...a spectacle for the palate. Accompanied by Altamura breadcrumbs, they are a perfect combination for the palate. And then we had many other things including tuna tartare, seared tuna, bruschetta and much more that I can't remember now. Chilled Salento white wine and...a nice 100-odd euros per person and at home. But you want to put quality! If you want quality you have to pay otherwise buy the fish and stay at home.🤣

20/08/2024: Highly recommended!! Quality raw materials prepared with original reinterpretations without weighing down or distorting the dishes. Excellent service with added value from the owner who welcomes guests by explaining dishes and wines with competence and professionalism... We will be back!!!

19/08/2024: Service was partly very nice, partly overwhelmed. Something was always missing and had to be reordered. The food was okay if you added some seasoning, but not the vegan main course! It was ice cold and very tasteless. Cold vegetables, but very nicely presented. Rather outrageous for 12 euros. Without the vegan main course I would give the meal 3-4 stars.

29/08/2024: Ristorante grazioso, si magia anche bene , peccato che ti cacciano dal tavolo in modo scortese lanciandoti il conto senza che tu lo abbia chiesto e facendoti capire che te ne devi andare.

07/08/2024: Lovely restaurant for fine dining. Probably my favourite experience during 2 weeks in south of Italy. Cuisine is inventive and delicious, wine recommendation is perfect and prices are very decent. You are welcomed with a glass of prosecco and a fresh appetizer while enjoying the view. all dishes reveal surprises for eyes and mouths. Waiters are kind and attentive. What more could you expect? I wish this restaurant great success!

31/07/2024: They were very kind because we arrived a few minutes before the kitchen closed and they waited for us. 2 first courses, 1 cut, water and dessert 40 euros. For the quality of the food and presentation of the dishes, we would have expected to pay a lot more! The staff is courteous and the service fast.

The dishes studied down to the smallest detail are one better than the other, it is difficult to choose the best. Perfect matches also in colors. Amazing desserts just the way I like them, not very sweet. The bitters are also worth trying. Excellent friendly and prepared service. Double and clean toilet. Ample parking available

21/08/2024: Absolutely recommendable address. To tell the truth, these places are rare, that is to say establishments guided by the taste for well-made cuisine and hospitality. The place is charming, zen, magnificently decorated. In short, we feel good there and we want to come back every evening to try the whole menu and simply... to be there. “Very good vibes”, “buone vibrazioni”.

07/08/2024: Exceptional food, every dish was excellent from starter to dessert. The waiter was incredibly kind: helpful, knowledgeable and kind. We looked for it as a gluten-free restaurant and they had EVERYTHING for celiacs too. Advise!!!
