06/09/2025: We found this establishment by chance and were so delighted that we returned a second time. A waiter seats you (outdoors only). You choose your meat or skewer inside and order the side dish(es) at your table. The waiters are attentive. The value for money is excellent. The house wine is too. This market square is definitely dedicated to food, and that's a good thing. Don't hesitate!

16/08/2025: If I had to give full marks, it would definitely be for the delicious food they prepare. Everything else is also 5-star. There were five of us, and we didn't have any more room in our stomachs, otherwise we would have eaten even more. Congratulations.

21/08/2025: A unique and romantic spot in Locorotondo. The food was overall quite good. The spaghetti with baby octopus was tasty, though a little on the salty side. The cod was delicious but also slightly salty. The braised pork cheek was enjoyable, but it lacked that extra “kick” to make it stand out. The service, however, was excellent — very friendly and attentive.

19/08/2025: Despite they had available tables, as soon as they saw we had a baby (very calm) they suddenly pushed us away and told us everything is booked. Poor way of treating people.

08/09/2025: Not once, not twice, not three times...but for well over 10 years, Skipper has been a regular stop on our August evenings in Vieste. Never a disappointment, never a mistake, all the dishes are always perfect and served to perfection, as per the book. Excellent, high-quality products, as is the preparation. Credit also goes to Claudio, who isn't the usual entrepreneur/owner who stays behind the scenes, but is always on the front lines, welcoming customers and being present at the tables to serve and convey the quality of his work and commitment to his customers. A must-see if you visit Vieste!

16/08/2025: Absolutely fabulous! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Castro's Underground was a wonderful discovery. The ingredients are excellent, with incredibly fresh fish and a truly overwhelming flavor. The first courses are plentiful and flavorful, served with great care. The staff is extremely kind and always available, while the restaurant is elegant and welcoming. The quality-price ratio is incredible: you spend very little compared to the high quality of the dishes served. Highly recommended, I can't wait to go back!
