We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant by chance and it was a very pleasant discovery.
The environment is warm and welcoming within the walls of a medieval palace and the dishes are simple and exquisite.
Grazia was very kind, making our lunch super pleasant.

Struck and intrigued by the positive reviews, I received confirmation of the excellent service offered.
The environment is particular, an ancient military post of the castle of Ascoli Satriano, a few welcoming rooms, a very varied menu, exquisite dishes, which recall past traditions but revisited with passion and imagination.
Mrs. Grazia kindly recommended some first courses, such as the buffalo ravioli, the burnt wheat cavatelli, the scialatielli with truffles and mushrooms, which were excellent. The broad bean and chicory courgette is appreciable, but "dulcis in fundo" is the strawberry roll, very tasty and delicate.
The value for money doesn't hurt.
What to say? Will come back to try the rest.

The location is beautiful... all the staff are kind, the starters and pizza are good... average prices, the quantities leave a little to be desired......we will return for a complete lunch

Il locale è molto carino e rievoca altri tempi. Il servizio è stato buono. I primi piatti nella norma (scialatielli con funghi e tartufo). Buono il misto di carne alla brace, in particolare l' agnello. Buoni i prezzi.
