03/01/2026: A welcoming, family atmosphere. The owners are attentive and friendly. We went for lunch at 3:00 PM, having just arrived in Vieste, and they welcomed us with a smile. The food was excellent and the portions generous, so much so that we were happy to return.

21/12/2025: Amidst the alleys of Locorotondo's historic center, decked out for Christmas, lies the "Ai Tre Santi" restaurant. Appetizers, first courses, and second courses... absolutely delicious. The photos demonstrate the meticulous presentation of the dishes and the excellent ingredients. The result is simply superb!

18/01/2026: If you want to experience Cisternino's true gastronomic experience, a stop at Zio Pietro is a must. Here, you don't consult a paper menu; you "read" it with your eyes, right at the butcher's counter. ​The Experience: The ritual is fascinating: as soon as you enter, you line up in front of the meat counter. The selection is vast and of the highest quality. It's impossible not to order the famous bombette (cheese-filled capocollo rolls, available in several variations), the livers (gnumeredd), and the knife-point sausage. Once you've chosen your meat, it's weighed and sent directly to the "fornello" (the traditional Apulian vertical oven) for slow, even cooking. ​The Food: The meat is simply exceptional: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with that subtle hint of embers that only a traditional stove can provide. The traditional side dishes are also excellent; I loved the pickled vegetables. ​The Atmosphere: The atmosphere is rustic, welcoming, and authentic. You can feel the atmosphere of old-fashioned shops. The staff is quick and friendly, despite the constant crowds (a clear sign that this place deserves it).

17/01/2026: If you wish to experience freshly prepared, and perfectly grilled meat of Puglia, arm your self with the patient. First you will need to q to select the meat from the butchers fresh counter, afterwards it's the table waiting, and at the end food preparation time. However, it is absolutely worth, because that was the most tender and juicest grilled meat I have tasted.

10/10/2025: The best ravioli with tomato sauce in Italy! Meals made with garden produce. The lemon sorbet with locally produced amaro is irresistible! A stop at this restaurant is a must on this mountain road if you're passing through Gargano.

05/03/2026: I've been to Coccaro Beach Club, and my first impression is definitely positive: the place is very nice, well-kept, and has a great aesthetic, especially for those who enjoy taking photos and enjoying a slightly more sophisticated atmosphere than your typical beach club. That said, the space isn't huge, and on some days it can feel a bit smaller than you'd expect. Unfortunately, the food also didn't entirely convince me: considering the rather high prices, I expected something more, both in terms of quality and selection. Another thing worth mentioning is that on social media it looks much larger and more scenic than it actually is in person. It's still a pleasant place to spend a few hours by the sea, but the overall experience isn't as "wow" as the online photos might suggest. In summary: a nice location but not huge, food could be improved, and prices are quite high for what you actually get.

The owner was equally wonderful — welcoming, friendly, and clearly deeply invested in both the restaurant and its guests. You can feel the heart behind the place, and that makes all the difference. 24/02/2026: Lunch today was excellent, as always, at Osteria dei Briganti, in the heart of Gallipoli's historic center. A wide selection of the freshest fish, cooked according to Gallipoli's age-old tradition. A welcoming and relaxing atmosphere awaits you within the ancient tuff walls of this restaurant, a regular haunt of ours, where we've never been disappointed. The weighing of the fish is clear and communicated in advance. Today, we specifically enjoyed a white sea bream and roasted cuttlefish: a delight. Occasionally, cheerful voices could be heard from the kitchen staff, and this gave me a sense of the organizational atmosphere here. This isn't a quick-and-easy stop for unsuspecting tourists; it's a place where they serve the freshest fish that's hard to find. Fully satisfied and rewarded with the "divine love" desserts at the end of the meal. I had only heard of Chef Andrea, but today I clearly understood the reason for the unanimous high regard he has earned, well beyond Salento. Well done everyone. A very fair price, considering the quality. Highly recommended. AAA +++

Not much to say: excellent food, top-notch service, attentive customer service, and an elegant atmosphere at reasonable prices. The catch of the day was very much appreciated. We'll definitely be back.

28/02/2026: A lovely little seafood restaurant right in the main square of Castro Marina. Excellent dishes are selected from a simple yet substantial and high-quality menu. Good wine selection. Attentive and attentive service. A very pleasant location both in winter and summer with outdoor seating. Reasonable prices. Parking is a bit difficult, but not impossible.

13/02/2026: I discovered this restaurant purely by chance, and I was immediately impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the young chef's ability to describe the dishes he prepared. I also noticed that the chef was not only a good speaker, but also a skilled cook. We were all very pleased with the food served, and I personally returned several times to enjoy more of the delicious dishes. I definitely recommend this place.
