01/06/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Le Scuderie del Castello di Govone, and I can honestly say it's more than just a meal, it's a true culinary experience. Each dish showcases the region through authentic ingredients, locally sourced produce, and carefully selected ingredients, cooked with passion and respect for tradition. An added bonus that I particularly appreciated was the pairing of each course with a tasting of local wines, expertly presented and explained, which enhanced the flavors of the dishes, making the gastronomic journey even more engaging. The quality, attention to detail, welcoming atmosphere, and love for the region are evident at every turn. An experience worth experiencing at least once, especially for those who love good food and the excellent Piedmontese food and wine. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

04/07/2026: This restaurant is a must-visit for authentic Piedmontese cuisine. I went for dinner and ordered the two most typical dishes, and the beef cheeks were delicious. It's best to go at lunchtime and order the tasting menu to try everything and avoid being so full at dinner. If I return to Turin, I'll definitely go back.
03/07/2026: Arrived to Torino extremely hungry and found this place and It did not disappoint. Everything was so good and fresh. We did the share menu €52 per person and it was fantastic. The portions were just perfect. Our server was really nice and helpful.

03/07/2026: I ate at this pizzeria on the Sempione Pass, and I have to say I didn't enjoy it. I ordered a mixed fried fish, and when it was brought to my table, I looked at the waiter, thinking it was a joke. Something like 10 or 15 small pieces of fried fish (€20), which were good, but a portion too small to be true. As for the pizzas, my Novarese was good, but nothing more than a standard Zola pizza with spicy salami (€12). The mortadella (€14) had slices spread all over the pizza and was anything but flavorful. In my opinion, it was unpresentable. I ate bread and breadsticks to fill up, and spent a whopping €60 for two, drinking water. When you leave a restaurant and go to McDonald's to eat, to fill up, there's something wrong.

20/01/2026: A top-notch Michelin-starred restaurant. The elegant location is spread across several rooms; in the summer, a pleasant outdoor seating area is also available in the courtyard of the old farmhouse that now houses the restaurant. The staff is highly trained, courteous, and helpful. Tables are well-spaced, allowing for conversation without disturbing others (or being disturbed). Guests can choose from a tasting menu or dine à la carte. All the dishes on the list are worth trying: the freshest ingredients, prepared with flair and professionalism by the chef. The welcome aperitif, amuse bouche, and petit fours offered in addition to the requested courses are also not to be overlooked. Dining here is an experience not to be missed. Prices are commensurate with the quality offered.
24/12/2025: I really appreciated the attention they paid to a person who doesn't eat dairy and who hadn't previously warned me. They created a special menu. The gobbi agnolotti with raspberry beurre blanc and cardoons are a must-try. Highly recommended.

02/06/2026: My wife and I were seate at the park across the street, surrounded by fountains, statues, trees, and a local vibe that will last us a lifetime. The tayarin with cervo, the goose’s breast with orange zest, accompanied by a glass of Barolo, gave us a taste of Piedmont’s heritage and legacy. Phenomenal taste in a unique setting; we loved our dining experience.
25/05/2026: We discovered this place thanks to The Fork. We were looking for somewhere near the Mole Antonelliana; excellent appetizers and spectacular first courses. The waiter, Luca, was very kind and professional. I highly recommend it, also for the atmosphere and its location near the park, perfect for an after-lunch stroll. Congratulations!

16/06/2026: I've been dreaming of coming to Ciau del Tornavento for years, and I finally made it. I can say the wait was well worth it: one of those experiences that lingers in your heart and on your palate for a long time. Everything started in the best possible way with the chef's greeting: the cod meatball and raw sausage were simply incredible. Among the appetizers, the foie gras was very good with its jams, and I was also surprised by the crème brûlée that accompanied it. The dish that struck me the most, the one I'll never forget, was the ravioli: the pasta was rolled out very thinly, the filling excellent, the egg surprise, absolute perfection in every detail. The veal with tuna sauce was also very good, with tender meat cooked to perfection. The shrimp breaded in breadsticks and walnuts were unique and very tasty: an original idea, crunchy and flavorful, that won me over immediately. The ravioli del plin were good, but I have to be honest: I found them a bit larger than I expected, which is why they weren't my favorite dish. For the main course, the goat was described as excellent by those who tasted it, and I loved the cutlet: very, very good. To round things off, a glass of Château d'Yquem accompanied by a small selection of excellent cheeses. A fitting finale for a meal of this caliber. Huge applause to the young sommelier, who recommended two perfect bottles to accompany the meal, and to the entire staff: young, kind, attentive, and passionate. The chef personally stopped by to say hello, a gesture that made everything even more special. It was 30 degrees, but the fans did their job, and the beauty of the landscape enjoyed from outside made the atmosphere magical. A setting that alone is worth the visit. La Ciau del Tornavento is a rare place, where cuisine, service, and the beauty of the setting blend into something unique. I will definitely return.

15/05/2026: A lovely restaurant with a fantastic view of the lake. The staff is partly multilingual and easily manages the flow of customers, even when the restaurant is busy. The food is expertly prepared. Even those with hearty appetites will be satisfied, as the portions are generous. There's also a small but excellent wine list with very fair prices. It's no longer a hidden gem, but its value for money is still virtually unbeatable in this area. We're looking forward to our next visit.

15/06/2026: We organized a last-minute lunch because we were passing through the center of Barolo. Welcoming restaurant, we ate the very freshly cut beef tartare and veal with tuna sauce, a typical dish. Tajarin for her, and an unexpected second course for me, a selection of 10 cheeses, all on the menu as a second course! A first for us; all the cheeses were delicious and completely satisfied.

29/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was truly memorable, especially for seafood lovers. I started with a selection of the highest-quality raw fish: Sicilian purple shrimp, scampi, and the freshest sea urchins, with an intense yet delicate flavor. The care taken in selecting the ingredients was clearly evident. Among the hot dishes, the fried anchovies were perfect: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, light and not at all greasy. The real star, however, was the baked turbot served on a bed of sweet potato. A surprising, well-balanced dish, where the flavors blended creatively without overpowering the quality of the fish. To finish on a sweet note, a dessert accompanied by passito wine and coffee, the perfect way to end the dinner. Overall, refined yet authentic cuisine, showcasing the seafood with technique and imagination. A highly recommended experience.
