09/06/2025: Fantastic touch and go, my partner and I had the pleasure of dining in this beautiful place, very well-kept and full of delicious dishes, I want to compliment all the staff from the first to the last!! Well done, well done, well done! Professional! Kind! Helpful! Truly an impeccable staff, I was impressed! Having two restaurants, I had the pleasure of socializing with Giulio and Giorgio! Fantastic!! Really! Surely the other guys will not be any less, thanks to the sommelier who recommended a wonderful wine! We will definitely be back, added to the list of my favorite places! 17/06/2025: Varied menu but not too much, quite populated with local delicacies. The waiter is extremely friendly and easy-going, the real added value of the place. We had a good time and they are extremely attentive to celiac disease, this makes it a pleasant rarity in the province. Well done!

10/06/2025: I had my son's baptism at the Borgo San Giovanni restaurant, about 35 people. Fully satisfied. Very courteous, professional and present staff. Fantastic atmosphere eating in the garden next to the stream. Fixed fish menu was good and complete.

10/05/2025: Warm welcome upon arrival at the restaurant. Easy parking behind the restaurant. The setting is very charming with the terrace near the river. We ate inside because it was still cool in the evening, especially near the river. The brunette lady was very charming and smiling. Very pleasant. The dishes are very good and in sufficient quantity, as is the choice of wines. Correct prices. We recommend this good establishment 👍🏻 Thanks again for the service 😉

25/05/2025: 5 stars Stumbled in for a coffee early Sunday morning after a night of camping—what a gem! The staff were incredibly friendly, full of good vibes, and the fact that the bar opens at 8:30am is a total game-changer. Perfect place to kick off the day before hitting the rocks for a climbing session. Great coffee, great energy, and exactly what you need to fuel your adventure. Highly recommend!

01/05/2025: Excellent experience at this beautiful place found along the road towards the Toce waterfalls. There were 4 of us and we shared 2 appetizers of mixed cured meats and cheeses of excellent quality and quantity. We then had 4 first courses, including cheese gnocchi, ravioli with radicchio and I had tagliolini with venison ragout, all very good and in adequate portions, half a liter of house red wine, 1 liter of water, 4 coffees all for 83 euros. Punctual service with very friendly and competent staff, welcoming environment, what can I say... thank you and see you next time...

31/05/2025: We returned to this restaurant after an excellent experience a few years ago, this time unfortunately the expectations were not met. The first room entering after the kitchen, personal opinion, seems to be the forgotten room, only one small window and nothing more. We took the first spaghetti with beans and good prawns, two tagliata one of which completely nervous and inedible, side dish buttered potatoes an excessive taste of butter. We pointed out the quality of the meat "answer I'll tell the kitchen closed the discussion..." The bill was normal but no shame for the tagliata dish. the location is in the center of town.

05/06/2025: Really disappointing experience. I had booked specifying that I am a vegetarian, but the entrée that was served to me was a Russian salad with tuna. The waitress, when she served us, confidently told me that it was "without meat, made especially for me". I trusted her, but after just one forkful I realized that there was clearly tuna. I immediately pointed this out, but the person in the dining room (chef or waiter) insistently denied it, claiming that there was no tuna, even though it was very obvious. Instead of apologizing or offering an alternative, he continued to claim that I was wrong. Unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, especially towards those who have specific dietary needs for ethical or health reasons. I will never return.

02/06/2025: I have been going to LA MIMOSA restaurant for 5 years now .... together with my partner ... And I must say that it always satisfies me .... First of all ... Franco ... fantastic owner ... The staff .... fantastic like him .... La Mimosa for me ..... It's my / our regular place ❤️❤️❤️❤️

26/05/2025: A refined and elegant environment, very refined in a retro style. The menu is varied and rich, and offers typical Piedmontese cuisine: high quality proposals and elegant plating. The service, today so difficult to find even in environments where it should be taken for granted, is impeccable: the owner and the staff are courteous, attentive, refined and very proactive. I could not recommend this place at the foot of the Gran Madre more, for a truly unique experience in full Savoy style. I will definitely be back!

19/06/2025: (P.s. the haughty response received only confirms that the problem is not in the product but in the management of the place, too bad) We preferred this place because it was recommended to us by the b&b where we are staying. Certainly the location is fine and pleasant and everything seems very intimate. We chose their 4-course tasting proposal and all the dishes (mix of traditional appetizers, ravioli with Piedmontese ragù, braised meat with vegetables and dessert) were of high quality and good without ifs and buts. However, although the taste experience is more than satisfactory (only the hazelnut cake is disappointing) everything is ruined by interminable waits that make you fully enjoy the basket of accompanying breadsticks more than the courses themselves .... we were seated at 8.35pm as per reservation and a few minutes ago I paid my bill at 10.55pm!!! (An average of over 30 minutes per course lowered by the shorter wait for dessert!!) . Unfortunately it is a place that I absolutely would not recommend

08/06/2025: Locale nella media, cibo buono (direi anche sopra la media con la ricercatezza dei piatti), servizio lascia molto a desiderare soprattutto per l'atteggiamento scazzato e maleducato del (penso) proprietario all'ingresso...ci sono modi e modi di accogliere le persone in un locale, visto e considerato che non c'è solo quello in zona e la ns tavolata era formata da un numero consistente di persone... Consigliato da amici per la nomea, sicuramente mangiato bene ma da non tornare se bisogna avere un trattamento così!!

07/06/2025: A pranzo di Sabato. Avevo prenotato con una telefonata e poi confermato con un messaggio da loro ricevuto, tutto molto semplice . Location molto carina e servizio gentile. Cucina tipica piemontese ben fatta. Ottimo vitello tonnato e raviolini del plin ai tre arrosti semplicemente buonissimi, avrei fatto il bis, un buon calice di nebbiolo e... cosa vuoi di più dalla vita ? Magari tornarci
