10/10/2025: We eat a lot of nice food - and I do not think we are particularly easy to impress. This place is fantastic. Not touristy at all, great food - wonderful wine and excellent service. The truffle menu is actually quite reasonably priced. Beautiful food, and a nice atmosphere, was so good we came back for a second lunch a few days after the first.

06/10/2025: Excellent osteria for traditional dishes. A lovely location, prompt and professional service, excellent food from appetizers to grappas, all at fair prices.

12/10/2025: A pleasant discovery. Breathtaking views and friendly staff complement the delicious cuisine. Among the excellent appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts, the Parisian gnocchi particularly impressed me. We'll definitely be back!

29/09/2025: Chosen based on Google and TripAdvisor reviews, where it had also received some recognition in the last year. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing: Parisian-style gnocchi made with béchamel sauce, vegetables cooked on the same grill as the meat—typical tourist spot. The only positive is the location, with a great view of the lake. Edit: Cream or béchamel makes little difference, if not worse, a flat sauce when it should have a stronger flavor. Sautéed vegetables usually have herbs, chili pepper, and sometimes a hint of passata, not just oil.

13/10/2025: A delightful lakeside restaurant offering both freshwater fish and a variety of vegan options. It's hard to find a restaurant on this island that isn't a tourist trap, and this was a wonderful discovery! Reservations are required, well in advance.

08/10/2025: Standing on that terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore feels like you're on the bow of a ship. Few dishes, as befits an osteria, but all well-prepared and made with quality ingredients.

23/10/2025: We went last night with a little girl. We had a wonderful time, the waitress was very friendly and explained in detail all the gluten-free dishes (practically all of them). A paradise for anyone with a celiac disease, and also suitable for vegans (they had a selection of vegan cheeses). They also have a children's menu (gluten-free too!). We had gluten-free fried fish and fondue with GF potatoes/crostini. Thank you, because it's truly a blessing to find a place where celiac disease isn't a problem!

05/10/2025: My husband and I went to this place last night. We felt at home, the staff was very kind and polite. The location is very cute, rustic, clean, and reminiscent of old-fashioned taverns! The red and white checked tablecloths are lovely, taking us back in time! The menu is very varied! We had a very good meal, especially the porcini mushrooms, which were a nice option off the menu! I really don't understand the bad reviews I've read about this place!!! Prices are absolutely in line with the quality of the food! We'll definitely be back to try more, especially the desserts, which this time... we didn't get to because we were so full!!!!

19/10/2025: It's a real shame that I haven't returned to this Turin restaurant in all these ten years, especially considering I live in Alessandria, even though we're only a few kilometers away! The meat is simply fantastic, tender and flavorful like you rarely find. The mushroom risotto is perfect, the raw meat, also with mushrooms, is also exceptional, and the pork tuna is truly remarkable. The first courses, carefully prepared and tasty, confirm the attention to quality and tradition. The impeccable, kind, and professional service completes an experience I still fondly remember. Special praise goes to the owner for his attentiveness and courtesy. This place truly deserves to be rediscovered.

17/10/2025: A dinner with old high school friends, in a separate room. Piedmontese cuisine, pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. An appetizer, a first course, water, and wine: €55.

16/10/2025: The atmosphere you immediately feel is one of tranquility and serenity. Jazz music discreetly accompanies the time, and the Art Deco-inspired decor creates the perfect setting for enjoying an excellent meal. The paintings on the walls are unobtrusive, making them stand out without being intrusive. The waiter has a highly professional and personal touch, along with excellent interpersonal skills. Time passes pleasantly, and the courses alternate, lending substance to the flavors of carefully crafted dishes crafted with praiseworthy ingenuity. From appetizer to dessert, from the moment you enter the restaurant to the moment you leave, the time passes in a wonderful experience that will linger in your memory for a long time.

13/09/2025: I can't rate the rooms because I went to Osteria La Milonga for dinner. The food was very good, high-quality and refined, the service excellent, fast, and the menu interesting. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I'll definitely be back.

26/10/2025: An excellent experience in a historic location. Excellent hospitality, perhaps a little chilly but definitely impactful. In addition to the menu, there are two tastings. We chose the more comprehensive one. The selection ranged from meat to fish, including specialty dishes like onions wrapped in milk, truly memorable. The wine list was good, although we opted for pairings. The staff was friendly and professional, and the bill was reasonable.

27/07/2025: Bella la location, anche le scelte gastronomiche e i piccoli entree della casa, la pasticceria pre caffè. Servizio migliorabile, e anche i calici di vino: mezzo dito in più non guasterebbe … Menu fisso da 80€ e 110€, vini esclusi, già il primo è abbastanza per quantità.

19/10/2025: Yesterday was an excellent new culinary experience! Everything was delicious, excellent Piedmontese cuisine of the highest quality, both in terms of ingredients, cooking, and presentation! We'll definitely be back!

It serves typical Piedmontese cuisine, including excellent veal with tuna sauce and rice with porcini mushrooms. Wines are also available by the glass. The service is friendly and prompt. Prices are average. A detour is recommended.

Interno con tavoli spaziosi, bianche tovaglie, stile marinaro. Menù di pesce,anche crudo, sempre fresco. Ottime materie prime, pane di loro produzione con farina di Buratto, servito ancora caldo. Prezzi onesti per la qualità. Servizio rapido e cortese. Ottimo sconto con The Fork. Noi torniamo spesso.
