11/12/2024: I made a stop during my Italian trip in summer 2024: a highly recommended place, especially for its swimming pool and its delicious restaurant. I hadn't warned that I wanted dinner, and the restaurant isn't always open during the week: the maître d'hôtel found a solution and offered me a local tasting menu, simple, generous and extremely tasty!

02/03/2025: Se cerchi un luogo familiare abbinato a del buon cibo….. sei nel posto giusto!!!! Per noi seconda esperienza in un mese, e si è confermata l’accoglienza professionale e famigliare Qui si può gustare una cucina casalinga e curata, con piatti tradizionali e alcuni rivisitati. Ottima la carta dei vini e anche le birre artigianali proposte. Si nota una valorizzazione dei prodotti locali. Dispone di un comodo parcheggio. Il bagno pulito ed organizzato di tutto con un attenzione particolare agli ospiti più piccini. Ottimo il rapporto qualità- prezzo. In conclusione: non privarti di una bella esperienza. N.B. Siete a ridosso di 2 laghi Maggiore e Mergozzo.

31/03/2025: Posto tranquillo, gentilezza e cortesia da parte del personale, siamo andati per mangiare una pizza e stare un po' in compagnia e siamo stati benissimo, uscendo pienamente soddisfatti. Posto consigliatissimo, 👍

25/03/2025: Le pizze sono sottili come dei crepes, e quindi sé hai fame non te ne basta una. Per il resto sono anche più care della media, e non lo ritovo in nessun modo nella qualità: le pizze sono banali e mediocre ,non propio abbaondante nella farcitura , Un aggiunto di olio piccante delle Eolie : 1 euro !! Il quartino di vino della casa non esiste e quindi a bere un callice di 250 ml ti costa 6 euro o più. Quando l'ambiente è molto affollato bisogno parlare molto forte , illuminata fortemente da luce Led troppo fredda. Non credo di tornarci.

24/03/2025: Characteristic place. We had dinner (two people). Menu based on local products. The choice of dishes is limited (6 first courses and 6 second courses), which I personally appreciate. All well cooked (we didn't take the second course). The portions are generous. Excellent value for money

15/01/2025: Location 9.5 - Such a beautiful, elegant and well-kept terrace with such a view of the Langhe is difficult to find. Sitting here is a joy for the soul. Minimal mise en place, perfect for the place. Menu 10 - Tasting menu at a very fair price for a true journey into the modern cuisine of the Langhe. Selection of refined cheeses, one better than the other. A delightful and delicate treasure chest of onions, not at all heavy. Certainly among the best plin tried in the area and finally a braised meat that didn't need a knife to be savored. Service 9 - High level restaurant service, always present and very fast in service despite the many people sitting around us. Also very careful about intolerances and allergies. Bill 10 - The value for money, especially as already mentioned for the tasting menu, make it one of the best restaurants in the area. Chapeau

09/03/2025: The La Braja Restaurant offers classic cuisine, with an elegant mise en place in a cozy and pleasant environment. The dishes are very good, however the strong point of the restaurant is not the famous cheese trolley but Mr Antonio, the restaurant's owner. A gentleman from times gone by whose courtesy and kindness you can't help but admire. A flaw? Perhaps the price is slightly expensive but you pay for the quality.

09/01/2025: The owner welcomed me as a reservation for one... not ignored or devalued but treated as graciously as a bustling table of 6. The evening started with a gentle Sommelia introducing the local varietal with amuse bouche. Then the elegant chefs choices and pairings. After one dinner in Montemagno at La Braja I knew I found the magic of the talent of the villages of Asti. A place that makes you so happy you took time to reward yourself and have a spectacular evening out in a quiet town. Perfecto.

09/03/2025: Indubbiamente peggiorato rispetto agli ultimi due anni, poca attenzione alla qualità alimentare troppo dozzinale e senza sapori e gusti e servizio da migliorare dedicando maggiore reale attenzione al cliente laddove manca un vero punto di riferimento in sala. Così, malgrado un certo successo commerciale, si và indietro, quantità e non qualità come sarebbe possibile. Ultima annotazione: imbarazzante il dolce chiamato millefoglie ai maroni...un sproliloquio di panna esagerata a contorno di una cialda industriale e dura come non significa nulla. Merita una seria riflessione.

Many had already recommended it to us, so expectations were high... but they managed to surprise us anyway! Refined and delicious dishes, with attention to the smallest details, and an enchanting and elegant location that creates the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the evening. A special round of applause to Chef Toni and all the staff, who made us feel super pampered with their kindness and attention. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience! We will definitely be back!

16/03/2025: Beautiful and welcoming location. Very attentive and kind staff. Good food, excellent trio of raw meats and paccheri with datterini and pecorino sauce, the slipper is a must. We had chosen another wine, but this one was recommended to us and we loved it.

11/11/2024: Dietro ad un passaparola della Zocca emiliana siamo riusciti ad arrivare da Filippo! E che dire…la realtà è stata maggiore della immaginazione: i tajarin,il coniglio,la sua insalatina,la pesca caramellata bastano per inginocchiarsi davanti a questa eccellenza di chef che diventa una persona umile e normale quando passa al tavolo perché vuole sentire le critiche e magari anche due parole sul Blasco per poi dire, grazie di essere stati qui. Circa 310 km ci sono voluti per arrivare ma sicuramente a breve li rifaremo perché meritano la destinazione! Grazie Filippo di questo atelier di arte culinaria!

09/11/2024: Ein Herzlicher Empfang und eine freundliche Aufmerksamkeit den ganzen Abend lang. Wo unsere Italienisch Kenntnisse versiegten, half Filippo in besten Deutsch aus. Wir genossen Kaninchen vom Grill mit besonders zart knusprigen Röstkartoffeln dazu. Da an diesem Abend weniger Gäste da waren, wurde uns als Nachschlag das ganze verbleibende Kaninchen samt Beilagen angeboten welches wir, hungrig vom Radfahren begeistert annahmen. Ich fand dies das beste Essen auf unsrer 5 Tage Piemont Tour.
