05/05/2026: I discovered this place while walking around the small village of Barolo. The welcome was warm and inviting so I reserved a table and came back 45 min later. Menu of typical regional dishes and a very impressive wine list of local and other wines - though I’m not sure one should drink anything other than Barolo or local grape varieties when sitting in the village of Barolo. I had a fantastic Risotto made with Barolo and had a Local dessert with a glass of Nebbiolo (the local grape) and the bill came to a very reasonable €30. Highly recommend. Local, authentic, welcoming.

02/06/2026: The best pizza I've ever had. The crust is perfect, thin yet soft with a nice rough texture. The toppings are rich and delicious; you can taste the quality ingredients. They also have a wide selection of gourmet flavors. I highly recommend everyone to try the pizza here.

04/04/2026: Authentic Italian cuisine with many specialties. The prices, as is almost always the case, are unfortunately no longer so appealing.

11/05/2026: The food and the atmosphere are very good. However, the way guests are treated leaves much to be desired! After our visit, the owner accused us in a very rude tone of not showing up despite having a reservation!?! We then sent him photos of the food and even the bill, but we never received an apology for his inappropriate behavior. Mistakes can happen, but one should also have the decency to admit them.

20/04/2026: We returned to Alba this year and again to All'Osteria, which did not disappoint. Local dishes, excellent ingredients, well-cooked and beautifully presented. Portions are generous, and service is attentive and courteous. Prices are reasonable. The new location is larger, with outdoor space as well.

The elegance is refined but never formal, allowing guests to enjoy the food and company without feeling intimidated. A rare and precious balance.

02/05/2026: Thanks to this fantastic restaurant and their staff, we had an unforgettable lunch. We ate on the terrace, and the sunny day made for a wonderful day. The welcome and service were impeccable. The culinary journey was excellent! We also tried their desserts, which were out of this world! Sorbet, hazelnut cake, and tiramisu. We ended our meal on a high note! Great treats for our four-legged friend, too!

14/05/2026: This was our final meal before leaving Italy. Even though it was only a short 3-day trip, this meal was honestly better than the Michelin-starred restaurant we visited the night before. Incredible value for money, full of care and flavour. The milk gelato was also the best I’ve ever had. Definitely somewhere I would return to, I genuinely highly recommend it.

11/05/2026: On Saturday, May 9, 2026, my son and I celebrated Mother's Day! Mrs. EMMA, along with the dining room and kitchen staff, managed to make us feel very comfortable with her carefully and artisanally prepared food, just like only a few Piedmontese homes still do! The four appetizers were delicious (the raw meat and Russian salad were exceptional), the Tajarin with veal sauce were superb, as were the Plin, with their thin pastry and delicious filling. Followed by the braised beef in Barolo and baked rabbit with French fries. Trio of desserts...the nougat and meringue were special, and a special mention for the BUNET, made the old-fashioned way. We will definitely be back, but we want to express our compliments for the quality and attention to detail of all the dishes served, always asking if we wanted more. Coffee, bottled water, house red wine, and digestif were €39 each. Mrs. EMMA is also present in the kitchen, working with her white FAUDALIN! MY CONGRATULATIONS!! She truly deserves the recognition she's received for several years now. Reservations are recommended to ensure a seat.

02/02/2026: An excellent vocational school offering our students, fresh out of middle school, the opportunity to learn professions such as hairstylists, beauticians, pastry chefs, bakers, restaurant and waiters, chefs, and graphic designers. A strict selection process with limited places is available for new classes, for truly motivated and determined students. Excellent teachers and professionals from all fields are available and professional. Recommended for those with learning disabilities. In addition, the school has a brewery where you can sample excellent craft beers in the adjoining pub.

06/06/2026: For work/residence reasons I happen to eat in a very very very highly rated pizzeria restaurant where national and international newspapers RIGHTLY praise it as one of the best Italian pizza restaurants, well, the one from Sole e Luna is a cut above, yesterday it was truly amazing 💯💯💯💯💯 really good

05/06/2026: It was the best gastronomic experience of the four days we spent in Stresa. The dishes were made with excellent ingredients and beautifully presented, and the almond rice was divine and mouth-watering. The restaurant is very welcoming, intimate, and softly lit, with a beautiful open kitchen. The service was attentive and professional, and the entire staff was impeccable and very friendly, something we didn't find in other places, even the most renowned ones. The atmosphere was lovely. Not to be missed.
