05/11/2025: A wonderful experience! Around 1:30 pm, we were found a table for two upstairs with a magnificent view. The sage ravioli were marvelous, and the house pasta al ragù was delicious. I highly recommend it. I highly recommend it!

02/11/2025: There were nine of us and we chose just one dish: a first or second course. The choice was wide and everyone was satisfied. I had prawns, grilled fish, and seafood risotto... I had grilled whitefish, which was good, just a little too salty. Friendly staff

We went for Christmas dinner and were very satisfied. The owner, Marco, was very friendly and welcoming, as were all the staff. The restaurant is very charming, well-maintained, and centrally located, easily accessible by car or public transportation. A well-deserved five stars!!! We'll definitely be back!!!

Worth noting are the Russian salad and the tagliolini with mushroom sauce. Informal atmosphere, attentive, if somewhat chilly, service. Three small dining rooms on different levels, clean bathroom. Some interesting views of the surrounding hills, carpeted with vineyards. Parking on the road nearby, but impossible in front of the restaurant. Book well in advance.

11/01/2026: Typical osteria. We visited here with our family in early December. You can choose between the à la carte menu or the tasting menu. We opted for three different typical Piedmontese first courses, all of which were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, even to the needs of children. We'll be back.

01/12/2025: This was our second stay at La Madernassa, having first discovered it in the spring. The rooms are in a renovated farmhouse dating back to 1865. There's a small garden where you can sit when the weather is nice, with a view of Alba. Dinner is served 100 meters away in the hotel's own restaurant. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the entire Western Alps. The food is fantastic, incredibly creative, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service is top-notch, and the wine list is extensive and excellent. Breakfast is served the following morning. Everything is absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. For me, it offers excellent value for money. Add to that the friendliness of all the staff. We'll definitely be back. See you next time!

The menu offers a wide selection of carefully crafted dishes, from start to finish. It's impossible not to find something to please everyone. But if choosing is too difficult, I recommend one of their three tasting menus! And if that weren't enough, the wine list alone is worth the trip! Thank you to the ladies in the dining room for their kindness and knowledge in recommending dishes; they were the icing on the cake of a perfect dinner!
