03/08/2025: This restaurant is good in every aspect: view, food, kindness of the team. Worth a try, I did call a Saturday at 20 and they found me a table for four, so happy we found them on Google. Try their Spumante, this white wine has a very good smell and no headache next morning !

The last four summers we came to Barolo to collecte Some great wine and When we do we have at least a lunch of dinner Here. Every time the food is so good again, the real piemontese dishes coocked at a absolute high level for a abnormal good price! Again and again we are amazed by this restaurant! Tip: It is best to make a reservation!

The staff is very polite, the food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Special respect for supporting Ukraine ❤️ 🇺🇦 🇮🇹

25/08/2025: We booked a table at the trattoria, and the food was all average. There were six of us on the veranda terrace. Unfortunately, we had a smell of sewerage that lingered throughout the meal. We reported this to the staff, who ignored us (I even asked to move, but to no avail). My overall rating is negative. It's a very noisy place where you have to shout to talk to the person next to you. Sorry, I won't be back.

25/08/2025: The menu is delicious, so choose as much as you can. The prices are fair, the food is excellent, and the staff are all friendly. The only downside is that when it's full, it can get a bit chaotic in the dining room.

27/07/2025: Bella la location, anche le scelte gastronomiche e i piccoli entree della casa, la pasticceria pre caffè. Servizio migliorabile, e anche i calici di vino: mezzo dito in più non guasterebbe … Menu fisso da 80€ e 110€, vini esclusi, già il primo è abbastanza per quantità.

16/06/2025: One of the best places I’ve ever been to. There are so many tastings alongside the main menu that at the end of the dinner I felt like I was taken through a journey.

18/06/2025: Excellent conclusion for a quick visit to the Langhe. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, with a precise explanation of the dishes. The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

26/08/2025: The quality of the food is excellent; I've probably tasted the best vitello tonnato here in recent memory. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. A small criticism is the arrangement of the tables in the dining room, which, in my opinion, are too close together, resulting in some unpleasant consequences. Besides the obvious lack of privacy, for example, at the end of the meal, after dessert and coffee, you don't want to be inundated with the smells of other guests' dishes, who are sitting too close together. That said, an overall positive experience.

12/08/2025: This is such an amazing traditional and friendly restaurant. The chef prepared all the food all by himself, he is a one man show, and adapted the meals to suit preferences. The service was sooooooooo lovely. They prepared a special pasta for my 4-year-old daughter. I ordered sword fish and my husband ordered the beef fillet with wine. My aunt ordered the sphaghetti with prawns. The beef is a must try dish. The wine flavour is so rich, so special that I have never tried in my life and I came from a food paradise. We also tried the fried porcini mushrooms and caprese salad, both were intensein flabours and amazing. The entrance of the restaurant was small and might not be appealing. However, this is a restaurant you must try when you are in Turin.

14/08/2025: Simply the best lunch of my entire life, a combination of goodness, abundance, kindness, quality of products perfectly cooked in accordance with a tradition that is almost no longer found anywhere, all at a ridiculous price. 05/08/2025: My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time, serving a typically Piedmontese menu, remembering the positive experience we had a few years ago. Our impressions were absolutely confirmed, even though the menu has changed somewhat (perhaps due to the COVID pandemic, which, for example, meant they couldn't bring cold cuts and the like to the table on a board where everyone cuts their own portion and then passes it to another table: it was amazing!!!) It's not a place where you'd whisper between diners, but that's not the reason you choose Gemma's. The prices are still reasonable, the staff are friendly, and the owner is a fiery and indomitable woman! Keep up the good work, and we'll definitely be back (assuming we can book, which is the only real downside of this place!)

31/08/2025: We had a quick dinner because we had an event to attend. Excellent food and impeccable service. The only thing that made me smile sadly was the "electricity and gas" item on the bill. The law doesn't require it, and it shouldn't be displayed.

26/08/2025: Overall, a good restaurant, but I would have expected something more considering the price. The dishes are good; I had the risotto cooked in a cheese mold, more for show than anything else. Pork pluma with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions. Good but nothing exceptional; the side dishes weren't well-mixed, with some bites having too much vinegar. The red wine was served too hot, as it was taken from the shelf in the dining room. Friendly staff.
