30/03/2025: Crowded, if you want to try this tavern it is always better to book. Friendly and kind staff and welcoming and typical Neapolitan environment. Beautiful Dehor. Pizza in pó bruciacchiata, typical Neapolitan. I was hoping to eat a typical dish of the place... too bad

29/03/2025: We were here 😭 it of season and it was still very busy, a good sign! The food was rustic (I mean this in a good way) and very tasty. The staff friendly and helpful too.

26/03/2025: On of the best meals we had during out trip! We stumbled upon this place through recommendations, and now that we’ve tried it we would recommend it too! First of all, their dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Secondly, they offered comforting yet remarkable flavour combinations, my favourite was definitely the squid ink pasta. The tomato, the squid, and the bottarga melded together to create a perfect sauce that clings to the pasta, absolute perfection. They also served very good olive oil, be sure to enjoy it with their bread. Would love to pay another visit when the time comes, highly recommend!

26/03/2025: Finally I can give 5 full stars! Ladies and gentlemen, memorize in any way the name of this restaurant that preserves and offers in an excellent way the culinary tradition of Turin. Any comment or judgment would be superfluous and certainly insufficient to give due credit to the quality expressed in this restaurant. It is useless to describe here the dishes that I had the privilege of tasting: trust me and book as soon as possible (if you can) to live a truly unforgettable experience.

09/03/2025: Consigliati dal bed&breakfast dove alloggiavamo ci siamo recati per una cena da LILLI, proprietaria e maitre del ristorante Antico Agnello. Location d’altri tempi dove la sensazione è coccola e di casa Menu interessante e al contempo intelligente - variegato e ben proposto. Cibo ben eseguito dall’inizio alla fine - con particolare godimento verso selezione dei formaggi e dessert (bunet alcolico) Lilli la proprietaria la ciliegia sulla torta per una serata in totale relax con qualche chiacchiera di piacevole condivisione culinaria

03/03/2025: Once upon a time there was Italian cuisine and it still is! Pasta, homemade gnocchi, special ragù, excellent lamb chops. All desserts made on site: excellent!!! You can tell that they cook with love and with excellent ingredients. Wonderful location! We will definitely be back.

22/03/2025: Great experience, the dishes offered are authentic and local. The quality is very high and the flavors incredible. The owner is very sociable and guides you perfectly through the dishes and wines he offers, as well as reserving some historical notes, adding value to the culinary experience. Highly recommended for a stop if you are in the area or passing through.

16/03/2025: Very nice place. EXCELLENT dishes. Friendly and efficient service. There is no shortage of daily specials in addition to those on the menu. Good choice of music and very clean bathroom.

08/03/2025: A welcoming place with friendly and helpful staff. The price isn't the cheapest, but it's worth every single penny. On my next trip to Arona I will have no doubts about where to go.

It has a splendid terrace overlooking the hill where you can spend romantic summer dinners. On their menu many dishes of Italian gastronomic excellence. 28/03/2025: I'll take care of your evening. All the restaurants where you can eat excellent Piedmontese cuisine were full, we came here with great sadness, we ate divinely. Trust me, try it before it ends up overbooked like all the others. They also have a very interesting wine list! Prices like the others.

14/01/2025: Capitati per caso, abbiamo poi scoperto che il titolare e' originario di un paese vicino al nostro, e di avere amicizie comuni nell' ambito della ristorazione. L' ambiente e' bellissimo, ricavato da una chiesa sconsacrata, arredato con gusto e classe, il personale ci ha accolto con gentilezza, siamo stati ben consigliati sui piatti ( avevamo voglia di tartufo, e qui e' il posto giusto ), e anche sul vino, Daniele ci ha raccontato il territorio e i vari produttori meritevoli, carta dei vini notevole, per me e' molto importante.... Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente.

06/01/2025: Overall we ate well. However, we would have liked to try the white truffle but when ordering we were warned that it was not available despite both the menu displayed outside the restaurant (on the pedestal that allows you to consult the dishes before entering) and the menu brought to the table the dishes with white truffle were present and no one warned us that they were not available until the moment of ordering. I believe that if a restaurant in Alba does not have white truffles (displayed on the menu) it should warn a customer in advance who is most likely sitting at one of its tables to try it.

12/02/2025: A round table for two was reserved for us near the fireplace with an adjacent window overlooking the hills and church of Treiso. Efficient, very professional staff, competent and friendly sommelier. We took two surprise tasting menus: ossobuco and amberjack tartare, lime octopus with Taggiasca olives and beetroot wafer, Parisian-style snails with fondue and fois gras, chicken plin, roast kid with Piedmontese fried side dish, tastings of exquisite desserts. All accompanied by a wine tasting recommended by the sommelier. Finally, visit the spectacular cellar! What can I say...must try!

01/02/2025: Many have told me about it, so you arrive with high expectations at this beautiful place a few kilometers from Alba, with a wonderful view of the hills of the tasty Barbaresco. These expectations are immediately confirmed by the kind hospitality, the famous wine cellar, stocked with over 67,000 bottles of great quality from all over the world, but above all by the dishes, refined but not too elaborate, which conquer for the quality and flavor, in addition of course to the beauty of the presentation. Among the various courses, that I had the pleasure of tasting, I was certainly won over by the Prawn breaded in the tonda gentile with fried frog legs and green bagnet, Tortello di ragù napoletano with smoked pecorino couliss and ginger and lemon crumble, the tasty and varied finanziera and the final of the cream ice cream whipped with rum, chocolate and coffee. For those passionate about flavors, it is definitely a stop not to be missed.
