15/06/2025: Very nice location spacious clean ... in general very green a beautiful garden and a nice tidy parking lot ... a covered outdoor terrace with very effective ceiling fans ... very large with a raised wooden platform with wooden tables of all sizes and shapes .. perfect the oval table for 7 convivial and stable .. for the uncle's birthday ... which make the environment welcoming warm .... the staff is competent fast available and empathetic (fresh water immediately for chatting a jack russell) ... the quality quantity and price ... lunch all fish is excellent !!! 18/06/2025: Excellent conclusion for a quick visit to the Langhe. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, with a precise explanation of the dishes. The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

01/06/2025: In the authentic heart of Dogliani, where the hills stretch out like the pages of a novel and the air smells of history and lives lived slowly, stands Il Verso del Ghiottone, a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, which perfectly embodies the poetry of the Piedmontese table. The cuisine is a hymn to the balance between tradition and creativity. The appetizers surprise with harmony and originality, such as the “arancinetta allo zafferano su crema di ceci e polvere di olive nere”, refined and enveloping, and the battuta di fassona, embellished with a crunchy wafer with Grana and caramelized onion, which gives depth and freshness to every bite. The first course, the classic tagliarini with white sausage ragù, conquers for the delicacy of the handmade dough and the savoury intensity of the seasoning. 29/06/2025: We went here for dinner on a trip to Alba. The environment is very cozy, a nicely decorated courtyard, which even though it is just a stone's throw from the center, is neither noisy nor messy. The inn is run by a family, which is noticeable in the welcoming environment and the relaxed atmosphere. We received fantastic service and the staff always answered our questions and explained, among other things, the difference between different wines we tried. In addition to the regular menu, there was also a pasta with freshly caught seafood and a menu with dishes of the day, which we ordered from. Before the food arrived, we were surprised with a very good starter. I ordered a spiralotti with gorgonzola sauce and walnuts, which was absolutely heavenly. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious and they also offered grated parmesan on top, which we accepted. The size of the portions is perfectly just right in my opinion, enough to fill you up but not nauseating. Afterwards, we each drank an espresso, as we were too full for any dessert. When we went in to pay, we talked to the woman at the cashier for a long time and also got to taste a delicious liqueur from the area. In conclusion, I can highly recommend coming here to eat, and I can't wait for the next time I'm here!

19/05/2025: Strictly traditional place, impeccable service (set up at the table), unimaginative and rather aseptic cuisine, bland flavors. Nice outdoor pergola for sunny days, very noisy indoor rooms (sound absorbing panels would be useful). Prices too high for the quality of the cuisine, adequate for the great service of the staff.

12/05/2025: It's impossible to describe the deliciousness of everything. Try it and you will understand. In the photo, plin stuffed with cheese and pepper with hazelnut and prawn sauce, radiatori with Bra sausage, asparagine and caramelized cherry tomatoes, veal with two types of tuna sauce and salmon style I don't remember what but that was delicious too. I said praise to everything.

13/05/2025: I am back home in California remembering our visit from May 2024. I absolutely love Gavi and have been there twice in the past 3 years.We dined at Cantine Del Gavi celebrating my sons birthday and mothers day. It was such a memorable experience and I realized I forgot to do a review with all the traveling we did in Italy last year. The service was phenomenal, food was outstanding and perfect wine was recommended. The staff and experience provided made a lasting impression on my son his fiancé and I. What a gem in such a charming and beautiful village. It is a lovely and beautiful ristorante and the food incredible. Grazie to the staff for a lasting memory.

13/04/2025: I prezzi sono decisamente alti per quello che ti danno da mangiare. Ci hanno portato due fette di ananas da frigo e insapore, sicuramente erano di vecchia data. Così pure le fragole e la crema pasticciera di un altro dolce. Peccato perché il primo è il secondo, anche se scarsi di quantità erano buoni. Comunque da evitare e da non consigliare.
